Just waiting on one last pgc

Hi Growmies, This was her last week of heavy feeding. I have already decreased the nutes for the coming week and will probably start flushing her the week after. So that she should be finished by the end of the contest pretty much. Regardless of her age the rootball has shrunk only a little bit. I have also taken her out of the scrog to enable the canopy to open up further and allow more light penetration for the maturation of the buds. This worked actually very well, as the weight of the buds pull the plant open. Thanks for stepping by and until next week!

This week has been fun still no problems with the grow no deficiencies this has been a easy grow like always for me.i need to do a defoliation on the plants today sometime

14/08/2023 Nothing special to mention at the beginning of this week, except my new heat/humidity detector, which is actually an old device I found. I came across it because my little one doesn't seem very reliable anymore(As you can see on a picture it say 69% while the other big one say 45%). Still no nutriments, just water with pH-. And I think I won't make any more changes until the final weeks, when I'll probably trim a maximum of leaves. 17/08/2023 I redid the LST for number 3, without knowing what I was doing, and I'm not sure if I did it right, but I'm pretty happy with the result. The canopy of #3 looks really good, even though the overall canopy is quite uneven. However, doing the LST on all 4 plants intimidated me way too much. So I changed the position of each plant so that they wouldn't encroach too much on each other; I only have a space of 60cmx60cm.

Day 49: last day of nutrition for the fast eddy, which seems to be almost ready already. Stoppage of pk 13/14, day 49. day 50: 2 week rinse for all. ⚠️ My led lamp is a Prima Klima - LED Shuttles 6 dimmable 240W, I am very satisfied with this lamp (check out my other diaries). which I recommend, but which unfortunately is not in the list proposed on growdiaries

Tricombes mainly milky, some half milky, no amber yet. Pistils are starting to turn orange, white is still the prominent pistil colour at the moment. Couple of leaves are starting to yellow but all up, apart from a slight nute burn the girls are doing nicely. Smells like blueberries, rosemary and chives.. thank Christ for the carbon filter!

I’m overjoyed with the phenos this strain is producing, strong vibrant purples with some serious flavour profiles! Pictures are taken at the end of the week. Did not add KMPS for 2 days in the end, will begin again next week. Added Universol Yellow (High P) and Calcinit 1:1 to increase EC and root growth, no ml values, used the fertilizer to reach stated EC values. Roots are now clearly visible, turned of the sprayers for photos. Changed light hanging height to 50cm and intensity to 50% midweek. Turned off the exhaust at night to increase RH and Temp, at this stage this is great, later not so much. The Plant keeps rotating and this kinda worries me. Topping is planned for next week and in addition scroging, if the plant keeps spinning this could become a real problem. Otherwise the plant is thriving with good root growths and leafs, happy about that. Values are average of the day. Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it!
