Starting flowering this week way exciting

DAY 29: Wooohoo, it is that exciting time when we notice more of the little white hairs poking up around the bracts and the tips take on a bursting opening of growth appearance. The main 2 in flower are the Northern lights #1 and Grandaddys mimosa. Both have started to stretch and will benefit from the planned l.s.t to keep them in their best light . Northern lights has taken a very healthy S-bend in her stem as she wanted to go tall from the beginning. Her growth rate has been excellent under the light and I can see her stretching will certainly have me pushing the lights footprint limits. Grandaddys mimosa has also added a nice bit of height at around 12 inches now. A good start for stretching too. She has space and I have been removing the larfy lower growth from rhem all to not waste energy. She is a little more advanced in flower then the northern light but very close. Both of the Gorilla cookies are starting to join the party now and look like they are still in veg and pushing tips up for flowering but no signs of bract hairs yet so they will hopefully match the size of the other 2 soon enough. They are a bushier appearance than the other 2 strains so I will have to make sure they dont get overgrown by their canopies after the stretch periods. The mutant Northern lights has still remained small and hopeful but I wont be holding out too.much hope on her. I contacted Fast buds and used their after sales service to discuss the failed seeds. They were excellent and only needed a few details of purchase and a couple of pics with some info on what happened and they have now replaced the 3 that I lost. Well done for keeping true to your word @fastbuds . THE LIGHT What can I say about this amazing piece of tech. A small unit, solidly made and delivering a punch way better than I honestly expected. I thought it was going to be ok to sprout them and bring them up together then remove most of them to grow with my other lights while I flowered a single plant under it. Seeing how bloody capable it is , has thrown that plan out of the window altogether...... I plan now to grow all 4 main plants to harvest and really push the limits of this sunshine in a shade. For 150w of power , it is having no problems providing plenty of par for all of the girls to max their photosynthesis needs. All of them are in homemade super soil and the lights are their main input from my end so something is keeping them very happy indeed. In a box or cupboard , this light could work wonders on a single plant or couple of trained but I feel this would be hiding a lot of potential and underestimating its abilities. Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Grandaddy Purple from Blimburn Seeds! She is looking really good this week. She still have a few of the feformed leaves that look wrinkled. From some googling, I would guess either Tobacco Mosaic Virus or just a natural deformity. She a cutting from a previous run and she has it then too. It isn't wide spread and she still put out quality medicine. Even though she wasn't very Grandaddy Purplish, she was still gassy and frosty! Other than the funky leaves, she looks super healthy with her leaves "praying" to the canna-gods! Now, let me nerd out with the deets! Sorry for the lack of updating recently I have a new job & don’t have much time for anything but I just wanted to show how amazing these ladies are doing! Both Strains smell unbelievable & by far some of the frostiest plants I have grown, have taken to fox farm nutrients very & they have not really gave me any issues the entire grow! Hello friends! 🌱 White Domina from Kannabia Seed Company — Day 23 Everything is going great, and she’s really spreading out — over 30 cm wide now! She looks amazing, with big, healthy leaves, already showing more than 6 fingers per leaf. After topping, she has gained noticeable mass in just 6 days — a real chunky girl 💪 She has very beautiful leaves with an interesting, almost round shape, reminding me a bit of strawberry leaves. The color is rich and vibrant, and she’s already starting to give off a light aroma — not strong yet, but definitely noticeable. Also, take a look at the leaf shape and how thick the stem has become — she’s building a very strong structure. Watering: 0.5L every 2 days Day 26 — we performed defoliation Today we stretched her out again and will continue to enjoy watching her grow. Lighting: 50% power, about 45 cm from the top Temperature — Day: up to 27°C | Night: 19–22°C Humidity — around 80% day and night We are not using any nutrients yet, as the soil is already rich and provides everything she needs for now. Flowers still growing, i will let one more week or so before harvest. Giving water only. Flowers are very dense like rocks. Smell is amazing, like fresh sweet grapes with coffee.

Day 16 Veg: This week has dragged by watching these girls set up for their race. They are smaller than the other strains in general and the quickest to the end of flower so I will be very gentle with their training and height control. The LOS girl took her time to settle down but has now began to catch up and looks a lot better than she did. They have been put on their coco feeds at the lowest rate now so should be ready for their burst for flowering. I top dressed the LOS girl#1 with life-cycle to get her bennies moving quicker and have given the pots a decent watering too. They will get a fimming I think as I don't want to stunt their height at all as they are going to be shorter than the other strains. now begins the long wait till the next update.!. lol

I cut down plant #2 last week, dried the bud and put it in jars for curing. Plant #1 still has a ways to go. It's starting to smell better (before there wasn't much of a smell), I haven't spotted any amber trichomes and the pistils are still mostly white and stretching. I'm only feeding it plain, tap water and will see what happens. I'll keep you posted!

Day 79, 28th of November 2020: Such a pretty strechy plant... Honestly I haven't met so strechy pheno like her.... Really really nice as it can be seen. Buds are forming all good not much to say apart from the fact that there is some sort of deficiency with her but nothing to really worry. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the rationand mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Flowering looks awesome on the ChemDog! Lots of bud sites and they're growing at a respectable rate. ATF's are running 3 plants in 3 diff stages- one's a couple weeks into flower, one's just starting,and one's still the holdout. Meanwhile, I've got flowering on the Night Nurse and one of the Viper Cookies. The rest are close but I can't say for sure they've transitioned. Weather's getting into a hot and humid phase, gotta watch that ChemDog. Think it's got a decent structure for ventilation but I've read horror stories on how the Dog loves mold. Further training of the branches has been fruitful, I'm seeing a lot more topside bud sites than usual. I'm working on irrigation-- I set up a 30 gal container and it works for drip, but without a pipe system it's still one at a time, although I have to admit it's worth it to save my back. Plus, I have to have a supply ready for use in case my buddy needs to fill in for me and water the ladies. Been checking the cameras regularly ( I have them all throughout the property, game cameras with IR flash), and to date haven't seen anything that would constitute a threat. Just some curious raccoons and one really ugly opossum. Even the skunks don't bother them this year, which is nice but a little strange considering they dig in them every year. It's really just the animals I'm watching for, people aren't as much of a concern. Mostly because I don't know any. Aside from that, I sleep with my head feet away from my babies, so somebody would have to have big brass ones to even try. Yes, I know, a little overprotective. Fingers crossed it'll be one hell of a harvest (by my standards). 8/11 Update: Been lucky still with the weather, but it's turning really humid. Fed the girls this morning, a mix of 1C molasses and 1/2C epsom salt in 20 gallons. Just a little supplement to the tiger bloom they've been feasting on. Speaking of the Tiger Bloom, I can't help but think I'd do just as well mixing my own nutrient solution, since the cost really adds up quick. For his year, however, it'll be fine. My watering gizmo is working well, just leaks a tiny bit and that's fine for the remainder of the year. Now that I have an idea of what works for me I can spend the off-season setting up something right. Had to thin out the Lamb's a bit, it wasn't getting anywhere near enough air flow. Also took a few on the ChemDog as I'm expecting mold/rot conditions for a while and she's prone. Shouldn't have much problem, wind blows almost constantly here, but you can never be too careful. Training is taking well, overall they look pretty good. Next year-- bigger grow bags, better soil, and much pickier seed choices. I think I may even abandon the idea of topping them in the future-- it just slows them down and you can get the same end results with training. Granted, my ladies are kinda sparse and ugly, but that's the learning curve. Next time around I think I have a pretty good idea of what to do and when to do it, based on what worked and didn't work this year. Another big thing is nutrient timing-- I def jumped the gun on flower power for a few of them and it just stunted them wicked-- shoulda continued veg food a couple weeks into flower even for the early bloomer, she'd be a monster.

Enjoyed every second of this grow.. It's grown so fast lol!! She's absolutely stinks so make sure you have a good filter 😉 Her structure is out of this world. Would definitely recommend this stain.

8/1 This wad the most fucked up morning ever. Didn't get much time with the girls. I was able to take a few pics when I got back amd a video this morning. Pillars are still around. I killed a couple but I probably should spray BT. I think we got rain last night. Bags are heavy. I defoliated a little bit more on the interior and found some small yellow leaves. Event horizon is still on point to flower first. I NEED to lst and add supports for flower bit I've got a lot of other things going on too. I'm going to TRY to spray BT tonight if weather permits and I should have the supports up this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping. 8/2 Quickly watered as I had to fix a flat tire to get my wife to the doctor. Gave most a gallon but closer to 3/4 on one event horizon and the sherb pie. Half g for the 10 and I gave the 5 and the 50 a little water. I didn't give the 50 much. That holds water far longer. I'm glad I got it done. It was 90°+ and sunny all day. Earlier everything looked great. I think I'm gonna go check them and maybe add a few pictures. WENT OVER AND FOUND THE EVENT HORIZON I GAVE A LUTTLE LESS WATER TO, IN THE BACK COMPLETELY DEOOPED OVER AND DRY. I QUICKLY WATERED A GALLON. I CHECKED THE OTHER PLANTS AND SAW A COUPLE THAT "MIGHT'VE STARTED DROOPING BUT WERE LIGHT SO I GAVE ALL THE GMO'S HALF A GALLON. I WATERED THE CONTAINER PLANTS AND THE ONE IN THE 50. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY. THEY WERE SUPER LIGHT. SOME ARE SHOWING SOME HEAT STRESS BUT I DONT BLAME THEM WHEN ITS PUSHING 100° OUT. I HOPE THIS PLANT WILL PICK UP BUT ILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MORNING TO SEE. I GOTTA GO EAT DINNER AND IT WAS IN ROUGH SHAPE. CANT BELIEVE THIS. ITS THE FURYHEST IN FLOWER TOO. INTERNET TOO SLOW TO UPLOAD 8/3 This morning it was "maineing" out. Basically like raining but more of an alternating mist. The event horizon that looked DEAD is completely recovered! I'm so stoked. I've had a really rough few days but at least I've still got my girls. After this little bit of rain I'll do the supports and a spray of BT for the pillars. I'm noticing more damage and I don't want them arpund when they can burrow into buds. WENT BACK AT LIKE FIVE. THE 5 GAL WAS DROOPING AND THE 10 WAS DRY AF. OTHERS WERE ALSO LIGHT. I USED 5 GALLONS ON THE GARDEN AS SOME STILL "LOOKED GOOD" BUT WERE DUSTY AND DRY. I ONLY GAVE THE GMO IN THE 30 A HALF GALLON. DIDNT WATER THE ECENT HORIZON IN THE BACK AND THE GMO IN THE FRONT BY THE DOOR ASXTHE LOOKED GOOD AND STILL HAD SOME WEIGHT TO THEM. THIS WAS ANOTHER DAY IN THE 90s THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE RAINED. Lights got put up to 75% on the xs1000 as I saw signs of pre flower at the start of the week, and then she shot up 10cm overnight and carried on growing pretty quickly.. soon filled out the 45cm x 45cm space to the point I started to consider a little bit of training.. I ended up getting some pipe cleaners and pulled the side stems apart a little for air movement and light to penetrate better but I feel some light defoliatuion may be needed? She got her first feed of bloom and top max aswell as removed the first set of leaves after the cotlydons as they had finally shrivelled up and gone crispy.. thinking of stripping the lower 3rd of the plant soon as the stretch is over but unsure as its an auto and I wanted to keep her completely natural and hands off as I can, a few of the true leaves are starting to die off at the bottom which I probably will remove as they get to more than 50% brown but unsure of whether to remove some green growth or not...
