Week 3 Flower – Sundae Driver From Seed to Now This journey started just five weeks ago from seed. We ran a very short veg, only about two weeks, before flipping to flower. Even with the short veg, these Sundae Driver phenos have been relentless growers: strong branching early on, healthy node spacing, and an impressive stretch once the light cycle changed. In Week 1 of flower, we switched to 11 hours on / 13 hours off to encourage a faster transition, and by Week 2, the girls had already shot past the 111 cm mark. Now, in Week 3, they’re tall, thriving, and showing no signs of slowing down. The girls are reaching for the sky, tall, elegant, and stretching with no signs of slowing down. Each day they surprise me with just how much vertical growth they’re putting on. I’m curious (and a little nervous!) to see how big they’ll eventually get. Nutrients & Additives This week, we introduced a new layer to the feed program by combining Plagron additives with our existing Aptus lineup. Here’s the full mix (all at 1 ml/L): • Plagron Power Buds – Bud stimulator to support mid-flower. • Plagron Green Sensation – All-in-one bloom booster with PK, sugars, and micronutrients to push flower development. • Plagron Sugar Royal – Amino-acid-rich formula to help boost energy and aroma production. • Aptus Regulator – For plant strength, nutrient efficiency, and stress resistance. • Aptus CalMag Boost – Maintaining balanced calcium and magnesium levels under high growth rates. The idea is to test how the Plagron additives perform alongside Aptus products. So far, the results look promising. Training & Canopy Management No heavy training, just gentle leaf tucking. Large fan leaves are being bent or tucked under branches so light can reach the bud sites without removing too much foliage. This keeps the plant energy flowing while opening up the canopy naturally. Environment • Day Temp: ~26°C • Humidity: ~67% • VPD: ~1.10 kPa (not textbook perfect, but the plants are adapting beautifully) • pH: ~6.5 • Soil Moisture: Letting it dry down to ~19% before watering, sometimes even closer to 9% in hotter moments. Lighting & Gear The girls are thriving under the Future of Grow LED fixtures, with the filtered, even spectrum keeping the canopy happy. I’ve also introduced an automated irrigation system in the tents, still testing whether to fully hand over watering duties to the system or keep a hybrid approach with some hand-watering for closer control. Extras & Comfort Yes, I had a little fun with the camera this week, a casual photo session in the "studio" (plants only in their natural “outfits”), and a special shout-out to Zamnesia for their incredibly comfortable gear. Think rugby-polo style shirts, perfect for long hours in the grow or behind the camera. What to Expect Next Week • Expect: First signs of full flower set, with more defined pistils and the earliest stacking patterns starting to show. You may also see a slowdown in vertical growth as the plants redirect more energy to flower production. • Not to Expect: Heavy trichome development just yet, it’s still a bit early for full resin production, though sugar leaves may start to sparkle. • Keep an Eye On: Environmental stability. With humidity in the upper 60s, watch for microclimate pockets that could encourage mold once flowers start stacking. Closing Reflection From seed to now, this run has been a fast, exciting climb. A short veg, an early flip, and now a careful mix of trusted Aptus products with new Plagron additives, it’s been an experiment in precision and adaptability. The girls are loving their environment, thriving under Future of Grow LEDs, and pushing toward their full flowering potential. The next few weeks will tell just how much they can deliver, but one thing’s for sure: the journey so far has been beautiful. 🔗 Gear links available on request 💬 Always here to talk flower, stretch, or any topic regarding gardening 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. So really packing on weight now and looking the picture of health , nutrients really doing there job and plants are loving them , Really excited too get too the end of this grow now , Update at the end of week 8 she developed slight leaf tip yellowing after a week on full strength more PK at 2ml per ltr then a second week at a reduced 1ml per ltr the yellowing is only slight and a good sign you are pushing the limits of the feeding , Showing signs of ripening now so next week I will begin the flush ,

Hello fellow grower Starting directly under the Mars Hydro FC6500, seedlings are doing very well (see inputs for distance). The dimming is at maximum power. The light footprint might be a bit oversized for only 20 cups. Technically, for a commercial crop you can stick 1.2 sq. meter of seedlings without any problems. _________________________________________________ Barney’s Farm seeds are as usual, very vigorous ! All the seeds germinated in 24h to 48h. I’m just waiting after the Vanilla Kush to come out from the soil. _________________________________________________ Cellmax BIO Soil is perfect, you can start seedlings with it without risking to burn them. _________________________________________________ Seedlings stage tips: - adding a rotating fan, far enough and on first speed, blowing very gently on the seedlings, will stop them going looney and stretching a long weak stem to reach the light. - fill up the cup with soil, give it a good watering, then plant the germinated seed in the wet soil. _________________________________________________ 24/08 Cup, Water pH 6.5, LT TB 25/08 Cup, Water pH 6.5, AG Bba K Bad Azz 26/08 Cup, Water pH 6.5, Vanilla

End of Week 9 of Flowering! I skipped Week 8 because I literally had no time for an update, but not much changed anyway. Temperatures spiked brutally - during Week 8, my growbox hit 32°C (90°F). To compensate, I dimmed the light to 75% power and raised it to about 60 cm above the canopy. This kept temps around 29°C (84°F), with occasional peaks at 31°C (88°F). Gotta say, the ventilation helps a ton, and I avoided any "foxtailing." Since mid-Week 8, I’ve cut all nutrients and only fed pH’d water at 6.2. The plants are still drinking, and under the 60X jeweler’s loupe, they clearly need more time. Most trichomes are still clear/milky, with very few amber ones—especially on the leaves rather than the buds. I’m a bit worried the heat might’ve delayed ripening. A good sign, though: the natural yellowing of leaves suggests we’re nearing the end of the cycle. The Sensi Stars (supposedly 8-week flowering time) still need longer, despite having the fattest, densest buds of the bunch. For now, I’m sticking to plain water and checking trichomes daily, hoping to chop some plants soon. Pics are below - though I couldn’t get decent loupe shots (blame my phone’s potato cam and the tiny lens size, lol xD). Shoutout to all you legends! Catch you next update. Peace! ✌️

Week 7 As expected, Delta 9 by CBG just started to kick right in, look at those buds. I'm starting to use pH Perfect Connoisseur Bloom part A&B by Advanced Nutrients, this nute base it's being complemented with Big Bud and Nirvana also by AN. Bio-Grow by BioBizz about 1ml / lt. As an experiment, I'm using Delta 9 by CBG in "micro" dosage, about 0.5ml for the 4lt solution, instead of foliar irrigation every 10 days with a 4 to 6ml / lt solution. SOME BUDS looks like they're getting a lack or excess of nutrients by the yellow parts of the leaves, but actually, at those buds, I R.I.B pruned them. (R.I.B stands for "Right, I burned em" or something like that) This is not pruning as such, but a method of burning the upper pistils of the buds in development. These burns produce mitosis in the cells as the flower regenerates causing, theoretically, it to reach a much larger size than it would be in its initial state. Just experimental.

Quick update week 3 flower these girls are putting on weight very very quickly. The blue gelato buds are already becoming dense like stones . Watermelon punch literally is the most satisfying smell I have smelt in a while . Wedding cake is the biggest in my tent and most gassiest plant. The terple inhouse genetics are also massive will show the inhouse section next week , just takes to long to take them out of tent

🔥🔥🔥This heatwave is killin me.🔥🔥🔥 Thank God for the rain. Set kickin myself for deciding to hand water when I have everything I need to make an automated system. Taking clones trying to decide which strains to keep. Gave my gf's son 2 of the 3 pots that I had, so I'm down to 31 total. Indoor and outdoor should finish at the same time for a 50 plants harvest in the fall.😀😀 Even if I gotta build my kid a hamster ball, I need schools to open.

Just bought and added an automatic display to rotate this plant. I'm looking forward to seeing the results it has over time. I was inspired by a Reddit user (wish I could remember their name) but what a fantastic idea! More to come!
