Week 3 Flower – Sundae Driver From Seed to Now This journey started just five weeks ago from seed. We ran a very short veg, only about two weeks, before flipping to flower. Even with the short veg, these Sundae Driver phenos have been relentless growers: strong branching early on, healthy node spacing, and an impressive stretch once the light cycle changed. In Week 1 of flower, we switched to 11 hours on / 13 hours off to encourage a faster transition, and by Week 2, the girls had already shot past the 111 cm mark. Now, in Week 3, they’re tall, thriving, and showing no signs of slowing down. The girls are reaching for the sky, tall, elegant, and stretching with no signs of slowing down. Each day they surprise me with just how much vertical growth they’re putting on. I’m curious (and a little nervous!) to see how big they’ll eventually get. Nutrients & Additives This week, we introduced a new layer to the feed program by combining Plagron additives with our existing Aptus lineup. Here’s the full mix (all at 1 ml/L): • Plagron Power Buds – Bud stimulator to support mid-flower. • Plagron Green Sensation – All-in-one bloom booster with PK, sugars, and micronutrients to push flower development. • Plagron Sugar Royal – Amino-acid-rich formula to help boost energy and aroma production. • Aptus Regulator – For plant strength, nutrient efficiency, and stress resistance. • Aptus CalMag Boost – Maintaining balanced calcium and magnesium levels under high growth rates. The idea is to test how the Plagron additives perform alongside Aptus products. So far, the results look promising. Training & Canopy Management No heavy training, just gentle leaf tucking. Large fan leaves are being bent or tucked under branches so light can reach the bud sites without removing too much foliage. This keeps the plant energy flowing while opening up the canopy naturally. Environment • Day Temp: ~26°C • Humidity: ~67% • VPD: ~1.10 kPa (not textbook perfect, but the plants are adapting beautifully) • pH: ~6.5 • Soil Moisture: Letting it dry down to ~19% before watering, sometimes even closer to 9% in hotter moments. Lighting & Gear The girls are thriving under the Future of Grow LED fixtures, with the filtered, even spectrum keeping the canopy happy. I’ve also introduced an automated irrigation system in the tents, still testing whether to fully hand over watering duties to the system or keep a hybrid approach with some hand-watering for closer control. Extras & Comfort Yes, I had a little fun with the camera this week, a casual photo session in the "studio" (plants only in their natural “outfits”), and a special shout-out to Zamnesia for their incredibly comfortable gear. Think rugby-polo style shirts, perfect for long hours in the grow or behind the camera. What to Expect Next Week • Expect: First signs of full flower set, with more defined pistils and the earliest stacking patterns starting to show. You may also see a slowdown in vertical growth as the plants redirect more energy to flower production. • Not to Expect: Heavy trichome development just yet, it’s still a bit early for full resin production, though sugar leaves may start to sparkle. • Keep an Eye On: Environmental stability. With humidity in the upper 60s, watch for microclimate pockets that could encourage mold once flowers start stacking. Closing Reflection From seed to now, this run has been a fast, exciting climb. A short veg, an early flip, and now a careful mix of trusted Aptus products with new Plagron additives, it’s been an experiment in precision and adaptability. The girls are loving their environment, thriving under Future of Grow LEDs, and pushing toward their full flowering potential. The next few weeks will tell just how much they can deliver, but one thing’s for sure: the journey so far has been beautiful. 🔗 Gear links available on request 💬 Always here to talk flower, stretch, or any topic regarding gardening 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. ~ WEDDING CHEESECAKE FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "A delight for the mind and body: Wedding Cheesecake FF (Fast-Flowering) is a delicious strain that offers XXL yields in a 7-8 weeks flowering cycle. This terpene powerhouse produces loads and loads of mouth-watering vanilla-creamy-cookie-scented terps with hints of citrus and cinnamon. In addition to its delicious aromas, this variety grows very well in both indoor and outdoor setups, yielding up to 650 g/m2 without extra maintenance, making it the ideal strain for beginners as it allows you to maximize yields while minimizing work. This super-fast feminized photoperiod version offers upbeat and energetic yet deeply relaxing effects that are perfect for consumers looking for a heavily focused, motivating, and creative high. It’s the ideal strain for those needing that extra energy boost to start a busy day on the right foot. Wedding Cheesecake FF boasts chunky, large-sized buds with a thick layer of silvery-white resin and bright orange hairs scattered all over: that just screams ‘quality’. The lime-green flowers sparkle with an array of hues ranging from dark to light green, to magenta and purple, and reek of a delicious aroma that’ll remind you of fresh store-bought cheesecake. This is an XXL hybrid that grows extremely tall in height, reaching up to 3m with one huge main cola and multiple long side branches that can withstand enormous yields of up to 650 g/m2 with ease. Wedding Cheesecake FF is extremely resilient to the elements and can be grown in almost every climate as long as you’ve got the space and basics covered, making her an excellent choice for those looking for large-scale harvests with a quick turnaround time without much effort." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Wedding Cheesecake FF indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/1- Ten weeks from seed and the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower has the pedal to the firewall now! Today I top dressed the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4, 1 cup of Down to Earth Bio Fish along with 1/2 gallon of worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments into the soil by hand, I watered it in via garden hose with straight well water. 6/3- Rained hard today so I skipped watering the Wedding Cheesecake FF. 6/5- Today was sunny and warm. I watered the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with straight well water from the garden hose. 6/7- There goes another week for the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower from FastBuds and she continues to impress and amaze me. I hope to see you next week! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

A-Day 81, B&C-Day 77 A- Is already 1/2 way through week 12, she almost all cloudy, with some amber tricomes now. I have started her “flush” just water for two feeds now. I’m going to keep watch, and see when is the right time, no rushing this go around . 🌱😎💨 B- is doing great, fattening up daily. A few more weeks at least, I hope she gets as big as her sister A 😍she got a full strength dose of nutrients twice this week and a water only feed in between. PPM was close to 1000 . C- is thickening up, I have her a slight defoliation and tied her down a bit to spread her branches. She is turning into a beast 🤩she also got 2 full dose feeds, and a water in between. Just keep spinning them around to get the even coverage.

3/28/25 chopped and humidity was a little high starting off 3/30/25 have them drying at 60% and 70° 4/3/25 Still needing a day or so of drying to be at a stable humidity Beautiful plant. Fan leaves with Triched out patterns visibly everywhere. Even though i chopped quite a bit off of the plant, i still got quite a bit bigger yield than i expected. All sizable nugs. Pulled 65 grams.

End of the 3rd week for the Purple Lemonade. I did some LST on her and she just got fed Goldleaf feterlizer. It's been a slow process with ups and downs. I encounter a few issues, but she's still hanging in there. Hopefully week 4 is better. I still got faith in her.

welcome everyone to my Strawberry Tent GrowOFF I will be showcaseing 6 diffrent starberry autoflowers from 6 diffrent breeders, we will see what ones win the superfichal awards of: Best In Tent, Best Smell, Best Buds, Best Yeild, Best Taste, Best Form and Best High. 6 plants and 7 awards, I have a feeling some of the strains may take 2 or 3 of the awards and a few of them may not make it to fruition. The tests will be blind and then matched to a key at the end to find out who is who to avoid as much bias as I can given that I some of my firends will be the sole judges for most of these catagories. + [Best In Tent] = Over all best plant in the tent. + [Best Smell] = The best smelling plant based of my sences fresh & cured will be raited + [Best Buds] = The best looking buds visually, colour, density and frost will be raited + [Best Yeild] = The heavyist yeilder of them all, total grams/OZ will be raited + [Best Taste] = The tastyist tasteing buds, peronsal prefrence based on the gunipigs I outsouce to smoke/vape the buds. + [Best Form] = The best growth pattern and form out of the plants, nothing to strechy or compact. + [Best High] = The best feeling buds from getting stoned, peronsal prefrence based on the gunipigs I outsouce to smoke/vape the buds. I would like to extend a big thank you for all the sponsors of this grow. From Lighting to Nutrients to the Seeds themselfs. #1 Medic Grow LED Lights, I will be useing 2x 240w MiniSun2's dimmed to aorund 60-80% at peak flower. https://medicgrow.com/ https://growdiaries.com/grow-lights/medic-grow #2 Metrop Nutrients, They have sent me a starter pack that I will use to grow these ladies out. https://metrop.net/ https://metrop.store/products/startbox #3 all the brands who donated to the cause, in no pictular order: Exotic Seeds, Pure Instinto, Seedsman, Original Sensible Seeds, Fastbuds & *Barneys farm* **indacate the seed was gifted to me from another grower and the breeder did not choose to partiscapte in this growOFF but are part of it anyway. https://www.exoticseed.eu/products/strawberry-cola-auto https://pureinstinto.com/product/strawberry-shortcake-autoflower-cannabis-seeds/ https://www.seedsman.com/us-en/strawberry-cheesecake-auto-feminised-seeds-sman-strchcake-auto-fem https://originalsensible.com/original-sensible-seeds-strawberry-pie-auto~22096 https://2fast4buds.com/seeds/strawberry-pie-auto https://www.barneysfarm.com/strawberry-cheesecake-auto-569 I will be growing these in a coir/perlite medium with liquid hydrophonic nutrients. The pot size will be 2 Gal each for 12Gal total medium in a 2x4 tent under a potentinla maxium of 480W via the 2x Medic Grow Mini Sun 2's LED Lights. Germination methyod will be the same, soaking seeds in water then into the final pots medium. They will be getting a 18/6 light scheulde from start to finish and a PH of between 6.2-6.5 for the entire grow. I will be useing some root incolulents to help the plants form a strong and healty realnship with the medium. From what I can tell this should go smoothly without many issues. I have a few good friedns on here who only grow in hydro so if I run into any issues I am going to hit them up and learn some new things. Good Luck to all the brands competeing. I will host a question poll to see who thinks what one will susceed the most. and Maybe open it to eveyone to help rate the best looking buds catgory. One thing to note is I am mixing all my nutrients into a massive pail that is about 2Gal and I mix it till it hits a desired EC point, so the measurements of ml/l is a bit of a guesstimate. I know its in the ruff ball park area of what I added but it could be off by a bit. m0use

D64. We're at the start of the fourth week of flower, and today was a busy day. First, I had to remove the old lights before swapping in the light from my auto tent. All while trying to avoid trashing the plants in the way too full tent. Not an easy task. The entire mission, with changing the light in the auto tent as well, took a couple of hours. I wish I could keep the Greenception lights in the tent as they're high-quality lights, but the Kingbrite has a much lower profile and thus takes up much less space. Space that I desperately need considering how insanely much these girls stretched. One of the tops on the second girl has unfortunately already been bunt by being too close to the light, and I'm sure I will run into light bleaching and probably foxtailing as the grow progress, but I hope I will be able to pull it off with the Kingbrite light. I also added some wire support to the branches that I super-cropped, as they looked somewhat sad after all the abuse to the canopy while swapping the lights. ------------------------------ D66. It looks like the girls have FINALLY stopped stretching. Phew! Yesterday, I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.2 with humic acid and EM-1. Today, the green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla Carnea) arrived, and I dispersed them in the tent to deal with the thrips. ------------------------------ D68. All is well in the tent, but now when the thrips are (hopefully) under control, it's time to address the VPD. It has gotten seriously out of wack due to dropping temps, plus I increased the humidity to make the environment more inhospitable for the thrips. The temps were low due to the light change as the new one is running a lot cooler, but the temps have also dropped outside. The heating in the lungroom has been off until now, so I turned that on and lowered the humidity threshold on my exhaust fan. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent, generating extra heat and decreasing the humidity. So far, the VPD has increased from a terrible 0.4-0.5 to an acceptable 0.9, and I'm hoping it will increase further as the ambient RH drops as we move into winter. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The VPD has gone up to 1.0, which is a nice improvement to what it was only a couple of days ago. I haven't scouted yet for thrips, but I will give the lacewings a couple of days to do their thing and then look closer. However, I went to WAR against the spider mites we have in our ornamental plants in the apartment. I sprayed all plants with my homemade pesticide (capsaicin, alcohol, horticultural soap.) since I had it at hand. If that fails to knock the spider mites back, I'll bring out the neem oil instead. The infestations aren't bad (yet), but it would suck to get mites into my tents, so better to be proactive. ------------------------------

Day 77-84 (April 17th-24th) (Day 78) I honestly cant believe I’ve been vegging this long. The growth for almost 80 days of veg is laughable. I’ve compiled a little list of what has gone wrong so far. - I added too much glacial moraine which made the soil too water retentive - I’ve been foliar feeding too much kelp - I gave too many bloom nutrients for a plant in veg - EDIT: DID NOT WATER ENOUGH AT ONCE The plants have been drooping like crazy this past week and I’m going to try watering in a full gallon per plant. I first thought it was from the medium not drying out enough, soil compaction ect. and I’m sure those are definitely areas where my soil mix could improve but the bottom of the container is pretty damn dry. I could actually be under watering despite soaking the top with 500ml a day. I’m going to sit the pots on some plastic sheeting so they don’t evaporate as much from the bottom and water in a full gallon each making sure I get some runoff. I was going to wait until I get my air pump but fuck it, it’s coming tomorrow afternoon. The pots are so big that they’re not fully wetting to the bottom even with a gallon. I’m going to try to water in a gallon every 4 days while keeping the top soil moist with the sprayer. In hindsight 6 plants in 5-7 gallon pots would be the most ideal. (Day 79) Holy fuck did a full gallon watering make a difference. I should have been doing this the whole time. All 4 plants are praying and stretching upward like crazy. They just look more vigorous and happy within a day. I bet they will be even happier with that supplemental air. If things stay this smooth I should be able to flip around day 84, possibly earlier. Got my air pump in the mail today. This is kind of a shot in the dark so hopefully it works. It’s super loud and vibrates like crazy. First I’m going to try running it 24/7 and see if there is any improvement over the next few days. If it does work, I’ll try running it on my humidity controller so it’s not constantly humming and will only turn on when the humidity is high. I’m going to turn the night time temps down to 70f to prevent root problems now that I’m watering much bigger amounts less frequently and it’s getting warmer during the day. (Day 81/Day 1F) Ever since I’ve been watering in the proper amounts I have seen an absolute explosion in growth. I’ve decided to flip today, now that I’m confident my soil mix isn’t completely fucked. I might run into some N/mg problems during the stretch so I will make sure to give a final foliar feeding around the end of week 1. (Day 3F) So I’m literally seeing dwc growth rates now. Plants have grown more in the last 5 days than the last 3 weeks. If I had stayed at this pace of growth since day 1, I would have an 8 foot tall plant or I would be halfway through flower already. Oh well. Good learning experience. *grits teeth* I’m going to put up the second layer of trellis before these girls stretch out of control. Bbb#3 is seriously stretchy and will likely more than double in size in the next 2 weeks. The other 4 are all quite stout and bushy. I’m giving a light, preemptive defoliation each day and picking off some of the lower sucker branches. I will do a full strip around day 21F.

Week 10 Week 3 of Flower This plant has exploded over the course of a week. She is starting to crowd out her tent mate a little at this point lol. I had to do another round of defoliating because the fan leaves on this plant get so big! I am pretty impressed with the stretch and vigorous growth this week. I can’t wait to see this lady start stacking on some bud. Cooler Internals: 600 ppm 1.2 EC 5.9-61 pH (it swings a bit over 3 days) 65 F Solution Temp. Onward 😎🍻
