Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. Día 44 (15/07) Wow! No hay shock de trasplante! 😍💥😁 Todas las ramas se han estirado hacia arriba tras el ajuste de LST y se están formando nuevos nodos rápidamente Esta combinación de nutrientes de Lurpe + substrato de PRO-MIX HP es una maravilla 😍 Día 45 (16/07) Ayer tuvimos ola de calor (37 ºC) y han aguantado muy bien! A última hora de la tarde (cuando ya no había sol directo) les apliqué H2O en spray foliarmente para refrescar los estomas Hoy parece que vuelven las temperaturas estándar para esta época del año: 29 - 30 ºC en las horas centrales del día Riego con 1 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 46 (17/07) Pequeños ajustes de LST Hay algunas ramas inferiores que no se han formado / estirado mucho Lo más probable es que haga una buena limpieza este domingo, 7 días después del trasplante, para dejar solo los brotes por encima del 4º nudo Día 47 (18/07) Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Este domingo (día 50) haré limpieza de partes bajas y tal vez también de nuevo topping en las 4-6 ramas principales 😁 Día 48 (19/07) Día de muchísimo calor con 37 ºC. A ver como lo llevan! Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 49 (20/07) Para ayudarles a llevar mejor el calor de las horas centrales del día, coloca una malla de sombreo (70%) sobre el invernadero Lo cierto es que se nota que baja mucho la temperatura debajo de la malla! Van a estar más fresquitas! 😍 Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 50 (21/07) Training session! Hago limpieza del tercio inferior de la planta, de todas las ramas y nudos que no superan la línea del dosel marcada por el 4º nudo (1er topping) También hago topping (2º) a todas las ramas principales La idea es tener 12 ó 14 colas principales para que no se hagan muy altas De paso saco unos cuantos clones de las ramas inferiores eliminadas 😁💥 Para superar el estrés, hago las siguientes aplicaciones y riego: - Riego con 1 Litro de Té Vegetativo de Lurpe Solutions. Pheno #1 is continuing to swell its buds and it's starting to slowly fade. Pheno #2, on the other hand, is getting darker and darker and its buds are not as big as the other one; 🌸- According to the trichomes stage they still need 2 weeks. 🆕- On week 15 I got the TrolMaster TCS-1 by @TrolMaster_Europe and I started to track my grow box data. Alright so we transplanted the girls to 15 liter air pots and removed the top, they might look fucked up but no worries, no stress, its just because we topped the plant when she was quite small, i left also some space free in the pot to add some more soil later and cover the stem and the first pair of leaves

The blackberry cake feminised has had a slight defoliant at the her base. There’s a sign of deficiency as some of the plants inner leaves are yellowing. She seems to be holding up well with her stigmas fully swollen. The lady has received a dose of chicken poo and a swig of compost tea. She will need close monitoring for the next 3 weeks. The Blackberry cake has slowed down in growth gaining 2-3cm in height this week standing approximately 68cm tall!

I have checked the plants and one plant is now showing about 10% amber trichomes on old growth. New growth clear. Starting to see some nice colour changes across the canopy. Have fed them a weaker feed to start the week but included a microbe tea.

Week 5 for the Purple Lemonade went great feel like I didn't see her all week from being so busy but she has been growing great shooting up tops everywhere as shes in full flower mode loving the medic grow fold 6

Had a small issue this week where temp dropped a bit, I was on vacation for a few days and a window got left open to the room the tent is in. The room got down to 62f with the lights on. lights off temp wasn't much cooler. I noticed some canoeing on leaves near the center of the room, I am hoping this was just caused by the temperature stress that happened by the sudden drop. I fixed the temp and issue and it should be back to normal. Trichome's look great under microscope. Getting tightly packed and very cloudy, very little amber color at this point. Cheese #1 Has swelled up quite a bit over the last 5 days, The buds on it are noticeably larger than the ones on Cheese #2 I have moved the led light to cast more on cheese #2 in hopes to get the buds on it to catch up to #1 Still dealing with small calcium deficiencies, I will do a light flush this week of 1/2 strength nutrients and Cal at 6.5 Mid Weekupdate: Flushed plants with 1/3rd nutrient dose and full strength cal mag. Adjusted ph. to 6.5 to allow for better uptake of calcium. The calcium issue isnt bad just some small spotting but I am trying to get ahead of it as there is supposed to be 4 weeks left on the strain. The buds have started to tighten and get more dense. Hairs are about 40% red, some are receding into the bud. Smells like citrus.

I took the smallest 3 on flush, water only. Harvest 3 earlier as day smoke.

Auto Northern Dragon Fuel is coming to a end soon. She is starting her ripen stage. I have flushed her with ph water and will about every other day till finish. She has about 10 to 12 days left. My next update might be the harvest if nothing special happens. I will see when she gets there. The diesel apple wood snell is very interesting. Makes me curious to how she will taste. That is all that is going on at the moment.
