My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. While the sativa variety of cannabis is widely known for producing more of a mental, cerebral high, and indica has a reputation for contributing more toward its physical high, other factors are more important to consider: THC is the compound given most of the credit for that head high, with CBD takes the credit for marijuana's many proven medicinal benefits, which range vastly from relieving pain, anxiety, migraines, fibromyalgia and even mad cow disease to easing many of the most deleterious symptoms of AIDS, diabetes, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. According to the California-based Steep Hill Cannabis Analysis Laboratory, this equalization brings to the cannabis user not just the physically healing aspects, but also the spiritually and psychologically healing benefits as well. There are other strains with very little THC and more CBD than Painkiller XL , but rare are such splendid balances. Producers of this strain say it produces a considerable amount of pain relief, with a mild, relieving mental euphoria. With a flowering time of eight weeks, the Painkiller XL seed can produce 525 to 575 grams per plant indoors. Inside, the dried yield is 400 to 450 grams per plant. Inside, the plants average in height at about 31.5 inche (80 cm); outside, the average height is about 53 inches (135 cm), with harvest time at the end of September. The new pH-meter showed 8.1 in my regular tapwater, way too high. So now the buds has started to grow again, they were purple earlier and now since she got water and nutes with right pH-level, the buds are turning back to green. And I also added some more nutes to her menu, 2018-02-03 Added some pics of the grow room after I cleaned the floor and putting the girls back in, and also added a video of the reality of a grower having some problems with too high pH-level. Since I'm still a novice growing cannabis I learn new things everyday, and hopefully the next round will be more or less perfect - perfection needs practice.

Had major issues with the mildew lost London Mint Cake, Cookies Kush, Bruce Banner and Cheetos… The last standing planta has no problems with the mildew. Malasana Cookies and Gary Payton are finished and now they are drying. I will give an Update when all is dry and smokeable.

Week 3

Not finished with the harvest yet will update when I’ve done a second trim on everything and weighed in. The pics so far just a branch from each plant. 3 slightly different phenotypes. The buds I’d swear have a pinkish hue. Very strange colour came through in the end almost has a purple look about it. Very happy with results and yield. The yeild could be much bigger given space and time for veg but for my needs This was an awesome grow. Really nice sticky hard buds on the most. One of the Phenotypes was a bigger yield and much tighter fatter buds but all look great.✌️🏻 I should also say a big thank you to Barney’s for providing free seeds for this grow. It’s a pleasure growing your girls. So smoking this stuff properly tonight, yeah it’s good. Very heavy warm stoned feeling after a few spliffs.. my tolerance is quite high but this stuff has rocked my night. Really pleased with the results after curing for a few weeks I think I found a new favourite🤤🤤😂😂well until the next one. The buds are nice and dense and really have a nice firm feel to them. They also had a fairly decent covering of trichomes that sit in the herb well, it’s surprisingly smooth to say it’s not cured yet. It’s gonna be beautiful stuff oh yass yass yass. Update/ getting super tight now, it’s going to be very difficult to keep my hands off it for too long🤤😂 So a friend came around to see me yesterday. I let him have a good smoke of Phantom OG. He left with both fists clenched and thumbs pointing skyward. This cannabis really is top class, and really does have medicinal value. I’d say it’ll make a great stress killer for anyone I think it’ll quash any anxiety issues going on as well✌️🏻😌✌️🏻

Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!
