Having to constantly move the ties as each branch keeps pulling in closer together , keeping on top of defoliation starting to get a weak smell when opening the tent overall plants healthy

So in the last couple of weeks I tried to make the night time temperature go down enough for them to turn color and they did - the sugar leaves turned a deep bluish green, really nice coloring! I harvested over a 2-day period. Day 1 I hand-plucked the sugar leaves off plants # 1, 2, & 3. Day 2 I hand-plucked plants 4 & 5, trimmed all of them and cut them down whole. I hung them to dry in my closet/former grow room with a boot tray of water with a towel for evaporation. My last grow was a disappointment in the end due to me not realizing how dry it is in the house (here in the living room it's 19% RH due to it being January in Canada and the hot water heating radiators are going full time). When they were dry enough, I did the final trimming, removing all the waste and dividing the buds into 2 classes: Top tier which are the nice tops of the big colas, and 2nd tier, which are the rest. I think I'll learn to make hash with the 223 grams of wet sugar leaves. I'll be adding more to this final entry in the coming days - this has been really tiring! Final numbers for 5 ShishkaBerry plants: Top tier buds (dried not cured) 372g 2nd tier buds (dried not cured) 150g Hand plucked sugar leaves (wet) 223g Waste (Sticks, stems, burnt leaf tips) 128g I'm basing my comments on the taste by the glove-hash I smoked - wow it's really good! UPDATE 1: Today I might have made some tincture or something, not sure. I slow-roasted the dried but not cured previously hand plucked sugar leaves and crumbled them up and put them in a mason jar (51 grams 100% dry weight) and added a little bottle of Absolut Vodka (375 ml). I shook the mixture vigorously for a couple of minutes then placed it in a cool area of the house to sit for a few weeks before a first test - not totally sure what I'm doing here). UPDATE 2: Possibly made Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) out of the Alsolut vodka - ShishkaBerry mixture: I strained it so that there was no plant material, reduced it in a double boiler style, not sure what to do with the gooey stuff that's left as a result.

Sorry for the broken lens. My harvest was 19.5oz. I left the main stem and one of the branches to seed, I'll grow with the next generation of female plants, if successful. There was a week of rain and it was starting to seed, so I harvested it a week early. In the end though the terpene profile was crazy for edibles and for smoking. The slow drying allowed the buds to retain a lot more terpenes, the fan leaves shield the buds and prevent them from drying out too quickly.

Spent the week rinsing and massaging roots, cleaning, filling then re-cleaning and refilling reservoirs. The rot is gone. Replaced with beneficial microbes from Advanced Nutrients Tarantula, that I made into a tea. This tea has cured the rot and also made a huge contribution to the roots and therefore, the whole plant. Am very impressed with the plants progress, vigour, vitality and strength! Now that the crisis is over, I'll be using the tea twice weekly to replenish the ranks. I figured I’d rock a decent update now what I don’t have anymore plants on the go. These were neglected from the start, although they seem to be making some pretty sweet buds. Tricombs are increasing, and starting to get cloudy. This is going to be my first sativa harvest so hopefully it turns out ok. I went a bit hard on the nutes the other day, I may have to give them a flush. The leaves are starting to curl and get brown. I’ll see how it looks in a few days. 9/22/2024 Added 80W LED lights below the canopy. Tilted the other 200W fixture to point into the canopy. Relocated circulation fans to keep air moving through the bush! Great flower development is continuing. The stretch is almost complete, but it is still stretching. Super cropping may be right around the corner. With one bucket removed from the system, the new system volume is right around 7-8 gallons. 9/23/2024 Forced to do a water change after a massive spike in PPM up to 2400. Cycled the system with about 5 gallons of pH water and pumped off about 4 gallons. Replaced 3 gallons containing appropriate nutrient concentration to get PPM back to 800 -900 range. Increased lights to 85%. Super cropped some of the lanky main stems that were growing right at the lights. Light directly over the plant is pretty much maxed out on height at this point. Looking to increase intensity by the end of this week to 90% and then to 100% by the end of week 5. Continuing to defoliate larger fan leaves a few per day. 9/24/2024 Plant is looking incredibly healthy even after the water issues. Some trichomes starting to develop on sugar leaves and flowers. There are tons of flower sights, I am excited to see how they continue to develop!!! 9/25/2024 Moved the light up to its last hanging position. There are only a few more inches of adjustment left. Trying to avoid late supercropping if I can. 9/26/2024 Pruning large fan leaves and fan leaf overgrowth. Looking to leave a lot of the smaller leaves for sugar trim collection if possible. Humidity is not an issue yet, but working to maintain 50-60% is getting close to maxing out my setup. Continuing with light defoliation will hopefully help in managing humidity. 9/27/2024 Have been adding pH-adjusted water as well as reduced nutrient concentration to keep PPM 800-900. Prioritizing bloom nutrients and keeping small amounts of micro and grow in the mix, diamond nectar at around 4mL/gallon.

Did another light defol, top dressed with 284,wc’s, and build a flower. I removed the trellis because I didn’t like not being able to move the girls around so I hope the silica does what it’s supposed to. The buds are starting to thicken up so stay tuned 🤞🏾

Se me ocurrió hacer un scrog desde ceros, aunque es solamente un piloto ya que falta una defoliación y un arreglo en la estructura, pero eso nos da a entender que este ciclo de vegetativo le falta aun varias semana, realmente lo hago para divertirme 💚🤩

12/1 - Well, here we are. December 1st, start of week 9. She is absolutely loaded with buds and I just can't wait to see how they swell and ripen over the coming weeks. I switched over from Early-Bloom to Mid-Bloom nutes (DynaGro Week 5 Flower, Recirculating). This is the first week with Grow (FoliagePro) cut out completely. I still fed her at a 75% concentration of Bloom and of MagPro, but full strength of DynaZyme, ProTekt, and Hydroguard (At the amounts notated). This gives her a ppm right at 1000 (2.0ec), though she will likely go +/- 50-100ppm. This week the plan is to top off with pH'd water instead of topping off with nutes due to the higher EC, though target is to keep her between 800-1000ppm (1.6-2.0ec). 12/5 - Uploaded video from 12/4 Thanks again for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

11/6 Monday I gave them each a gallon of water today late bloom supplements, and the bloom tastic I’m gonna put the other ones in the flower soon so these I’m gonna keep going. The Tricom are all mostly clear so I like to go a little longer. We’ll see how much I can get out of these. The other clones going are doing really well train those today. I have three more clones. I’ll be putting into flower today. 11/7 I turned the light on the light flowering ones from 1:20 to 111. I’m trying to get the temperatures a little lower than the extra light isn’t gonna help. I just have trouble keeping the room cool. I’ll put the other three clones into flower this week and then I have three additional clones from those clones I’m going to put into flower next month, I love taking cuttings and doing that. I’m lucky that I did it because I killed all of my seeds early this year. It’s nice to have back up plants. Afternoon. I ended up having to give them another gallon of water split between the two of them. I did very light supplements cause I just did it, but she was completely dry and they needed all that I was kind of surprised. 11/8 Wednesday she’s been pretty uneventful since watering yesterday. I’m just trying to get her colas nice and big I have three others that are ready to go into flower. I still haven’t taken care of space panda. I just can’t manage more than four or five plants at once so these two are going to nice I’ve already smoked some of it and it’s great and it’s not even cured the buds are really dense that new nutrient really made a big difference I want to go at least as big as I can with the colas. I don’t grow for the trichome color I just do it as long as I can to see how much I can get 11/9 I did some unexpected trimming. I got an ounce and a half wet and there’s stems in there so it’ll probably I don’t know little less than a half. It’s pretty dense. Turned a wattage on the light down from 118 to 103 about 100 is all she need from here on now since I did a lot of trimming today 11/10 trimming the leaves and some buds off and lowering the lights has helped a lot she’s starting to really thicken up on the top. They’re very dense and getting more dense. They seem to be taking up water really well so these last three weeks should see some pretty significant growth. They’re looking great, I have three more to turn to flower and then three more in veg I’m gonna have blackjack growing for a long time. I started this plant back in March and I’ve been able to keep it going and get eight plants from it so from one plant made up for all the other plants and seeds that died that I lost . 11/10 pm I set the timer on the other three clones to 1212 so they will start flowering so I’ll have flowers from these in two months. I’m gonna trim up all the small branches on this one. Maybe I can fit more in there 11/11 I watered them two days in a row earlier in the week so they were still pretty dry today. Not a lot of water uptake the other clones. I just flipped to 1212 I’ll probably start a new diary just with those cause this one’s too hard to do with a different clones in different phases 11/12 Sunday she was very thirsty. I gave them each a gallon of water with all the nutrients and supplements. Keep the light at 100 W and she’s good.

7/11/25 nothing to note. I wanna flower her but I'll be going camping later this month so I'll have to wait until after that to start. But that will probably be the start of the perpetual again

Day 43 of flower - I start counting when I see pistils so for some people it would be day 50 of flower, maturing really fast they are just about done! This will be my last update until they are dried, trimmed, and out in the scale! Thank you all for following along! Last week I did still give them their fish shit and silica watering because I wasn’t expecting the trucks to turn so suddenly ! We also had some beautiful colorful fade and got some nice dark purple from the 2 permafrost ! Well that’s about it and I’ll be back in a couple weeks for the final post and conclusion of the grow!
