Неделя прошла как и планировалось. Вовремя в начале недели понизил яркость ламп, это остановило разрушение старых листьев от переизбытка магния и нехватки кальция. Ко всему прочему снизило быстрый стретч и позволило гнуть ветки, так как они снизили скорость утолщения. Одна из веток на 4-ом этаже лопнула от основного ствола, пришлось делать целу систему из растяжек, чтобы и гнуть можно было, и чтобы транспортная мозоль могла образоваться. В высоту прибавии только 2 см, это из-за того что основной ствол еще больше получил утолщение и немного вытянулся в длинну, остальные 8 веток несчастно гнутся и разводятся по сторонам. PPM также 700 как на влив, так и в дренаже, то есть питается отлично, проблем нет вообще никаких, старые листья не стали прогрессировать в образовании ржавчины и продолжают жить и пахнуть. Новые листья правильной формы и без эффекта "преднизалона". Утром запах как в хвойном лесу. Не смотря на свои 30 дней от роду, пахнет довольно сильно, и это не смотря на то что даже не цветет. Склоняюсь к тому, чтобы начать переводить на цветение, как раз за неделю ветки подрастут, вытянутся и будем иметь красиво сформировавшийся куст. Спасибо что заглянули. Amazing Colours! As you can see the colours on this plant at the end of its run are absolutely amazing. The buds didnt out as dense as I had hoped but I think thats just this pheno and we are busy hunting a denser pheno atm. what a great strain to grow though. no problems during the cycle of the plant and the colours make it so rewarding to grow! I would definitely recommend this strain to people who like fruity and colourful plants. Barneys never disappoints really;)

Sunday, 28-08-2022 Stretching up and out and looking good. Top-dressed midweek with 60 ml Humic Acid flakes. Foliar sprayed yesterday with The Amazing Doctor Zymes Eliminator(TADZE). Plants continue to seem pest free since starting to use TADZE. Only one midweek feed due to pots being saturated with rain on previous weekend. Supplemented feed today with Beneficial Booster comprised of 50 ml molasses, 125 ml EMAS and 15+ ml~ Recharge in 12 litres stored rain water with the molasses diluted in 950 ml filtered tap water, rain water EC=0~, final EC 1.7.

The Pure Ice Cream clone is growing well. Nothing special has been happening. She is waiting on another plant to finish so she can go to flowering. It will be about 3 or 4 weeks from now. Everything is going smooth. OK still on the fence about the 6/2 light schedule got to get more data before I submit💪 might have been unstable genes I will try again with some proven genetics. 7/11 It's pouring. We got like 2 in of rain. I compared the flowering with that of the mendo breath I grew in a previous journal and they are real close. Tjat was DONE DONE in September. Judging by the small preflowers they are going to be ready approximately around the same time. I think I'm going to have a middle September harvest with some and some will go to October. Realistically, I should've changed this to flower. I like to call it "the stretch" though. Plants are stretching like a mother fucker. Seems like the less I fuck with them the better they do! No nutes yet. I'm going on vacation for a week and I think I won't feed before I leave either. Plants don't look like they are lacking in anything. Just because I have tons of nutes doesn't mean I need to use them. Still need to put up the secondary supports for flower. Went over after a break in the rain. Went through each plant one by one. Most had leaves that were either turning yellow or yellow at the bottom interior. I only removed leaves that were dead or dieing. I should probably have degoliated more but I'm doing the KISS method this year. Things seem to be doing good that way. Some minor pests. I found a slug but put out slug bait for those and earwigs. Noticed a few white flies and multi color flies (probably fungus knats but they are up at the top, not down by the soil. I'm going to think about it and do some research. Damage is so MINIMAL and pests are MINIMAL that im holding off spraying. I mat start nutes tomorrow though. I'm uncertain on a lot of things. I need to meditate on it. Just because those interior leaves died the plants are still a LUSH dark green so I think they're alright. It's going really good but I'm going to be on vacation for a week. I can still monitor daily with my camera's and my family that is watching them will FaceTime me every morning and show me what's going on. They know what they're doing and if something arises I have BASICALLY a growers union in my town. All family. We look after each other. That's the only reason I considered even going. However, the event horizons, sherb pie, toasted toffy and AT LEAST 1 GMO "LOOK" like they will be flowering early. Like I said they look similar to a mendo breath pheno on another diary that finished in September. We shall see. I'm excited that's for sure! 7/12 So far no rain! Super hot and muggy. Killed a jpn beetle and a moth larvae this morning and another beetle this afternoon. I'm seeing SOME pest damage which makes me want to spray before some of these plants take off flowering. There isn't much damage and tje birds sit on the top just WAITING for a chance to swoop in and grab something. I've seen tons of wasps tjis year. I killed a snail yesterday and put out slug bait around my pallets. I'm leaving early tomorrow. I'm CONSIDERING doing an application of Cap'n Jack's before I leave. I'm not sure. I made little DIY videos for dad and I hope he follows them. If not I'll have another grower come help. With all the rain I noticed some white flies when I shook a couple plants. I don't have time to really deal with it right now. There were only a few and I think spinosad would kill those too. Either way it will be fine. I can monitor via camera. I can even hit an alarm that goes to four different people. Still. I don't like leaving my girls. Especially in this heat. 7/13 Left early for a short vacation. Just got a picture saying it's sunny there and my plants are doing good. I'm lucky to havecthe crew that I do. I'm sure if I asked they'd put up yellow sticky traps. That's something I may consider. 7/14 Dad said it Rained last night and driving down here it was just PURE SHEET RAIN. He sent me pics I uploaded and everything looks GREAT! gonna get sun after all that rain and wind. They are gonna explode! 7/15 Still on Vacation. Dad showed me the plants and said they looked a little dry so I had him use the 4 GALLONS OF WATER I HAD PREMIXED FOR HIM TO WATER THE GARDEN. This way each plant gets a half gallon. It's supposed to be in the 90's with no rain tonight. Rains euppised to come tomorrow but I've seen how fast a bag can dry out in ONE day with super hot weather and high winds. The wind blows through the bag drying the medium out. Dad's right. Things do look amazing. I'm having fun but it will be nice to get back and see if I was right and those few plants are trying to flower. Looks just like those two mendo phenomes that flowered early. 7/16 still on vacation. Got a nice rain for the plants. Not much though. 7/17 Had DAD WATER FOUR GALLONS ON THE GARDEN. ANOTHER HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT. I really miss my girls. I'm ready to get going and start doing the things that need to be done. Few more days and I'll be home with my pretty ladies. Last time I came back to nice little flowers. They looked about in the same stage when I left. I love early finishers. They're stretching thsts for sure.

What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.

This week it really started flowering, there is a lot of wind and the earth dries very quickly despite the mulch. But level Stress she reacted very well from the beginning. Very good genetics so far.

This one is going to be weirdly exciting like all grows… but nothing beats growing strain you know nothing about down to to it’s ID. This is why this diary is dubbed Unknown Strain, and a lot more journals will be dubbed unknown strain. eg. Unknown Strain #1 - these strains are seeds I’ve collected and forgot to catalogue Unknown Strain (dealer/grow name #1) - I have it this way,to indicate where or from whom did I get the seed, but failed to get the accurate information regarding the strain. Alike this particular diary. I received seeds from my friend saplug16.20_exotic_genetics. Check out his work on instagram, his my mentor in growing. But I go overboard when it comes to growing. Ever since I’ve seen YouTube videos of growers growing weed plants like bonsais, I started growing my plants like I am growing actual bonsais, LST them in shapes and size while using defoliation and topping to achieve aesthetics. This type of growing is not focused on yield more for the hobbyist who grows for themselves and close friends. But I want to see if I can get more yield with this type of growing bud.
