Week 8 Flower – Tropicana Cookies | World Breeders The crop is now entering the final stage of flowering and the plants are showing exactly what I was expecting from this phenotype. Buds have continued to swell across every branch, with excellent trichome production and a very uniform flower structure. This Tropicana Cookies has developed a strong framework with thick branches capable of supporting the flowers without any issues. The canopy remains open thanks to the training, allowing light to reach every flowering site and producing consistent bud development from top to bottom. Resin production is becoming one of the standout traits. The sugar leaves are heavily coated in trichomes and the flowers are taking on a frosty appearance that keeps improving every day. Most pistils are still white with some beginning to turn orange, indicating the plant is in the final ripening phase but still has time to gain extra density and terpene expression before harvest. Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week, helping the plant stay healthy with no signs of nutrient excess or major stress. Looking forward to the final 10–14 days, where I expect the calyxes to swell further, resin production to peak, and the terpene profile to fully develop. Big improvement on all the Royal Queen Seeds plants this week. That same Sundae Driver that hermed has not shown any new male flower growth at all. In fact, the Sundae Driver buds are all looking a bit denser this week. Their smell is incredible. It smell is identical to a bowl of fruity pebbles when I was a kid. Also, check out the coloration on the leaves near the buds. As the plants grow closer to full maturity those purple edges should bleed deeper into the leaves. Purple Queen also exploded in her development this week. Still only minimal trichome development, but her buds have grown visibly larger. Her smell is less sweet, closer to the OG Kush but with a little citrus. I’m certain the Royal Queen crop’s development this week must be due to last week’s maintenance. I trimmed all the growth beneath the trellis and, on the Sundae Driver, I removed entire branches that had male flower growth. Later in the week a few hours after watering you could really see that the plants were focusing all their growth up top at the bud sights. And last but not least, FastBuds’ OG Kush is continuing to fatten up her nugs. Some resin was observed this week, along with a few amber trichomes. According to FastBuds, this next week could be her last. Her trichome ratio will likely be sufficient this time next week, but I may let her go a bit further.

Harvest week for the Milky Way F1 growmies 🙌 Pretty happy with how she handled this cycle, recycled soil first time ever, dead of winter, undersized light for a 100x100 tent… she just kept going 💪 In previous runs I did scaled harvests, and every time I noticed a visible resin boost and even some anthocyanin production on some phenos, confirmed that a sudden light intensity increase late in flower does something interesting. This time I went a different route: last 6-7 days I stripped most of the non-resinous fan leaves and redirected a lateral bar onto the mid/lower zone to get the same effect. Curious if mechanical stress from defoliation plays a role here too, anyone know anything about jasmonic acid? 🤔 Late flower I pushed the setup to ~200w adding 660nm red bars at 40-50cm, which clearly tightened up the buds compared to previous runs 👀 Pulled the CO2 bottles in flower, without a way to measure it I’d rather focus on VPD and fresh air circulation 🤷 Kept them in veg where humidity tolerance is higher anyway. Now she’s drying and I can’t wait to see how the wet/dry ratio lands 🌿​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

3/28/25 chopped and humidity was a little high starting off 3/30/25 have them drying at 60% and 70° 4/3/25 Still needing a day or so of drying to be at a stable humidity Beautiful plant. Fan leaves with Triched out patterns visibly everywhere. Even though i chopped quite a bit off of the plant, i still got quite a bit bigger yield than i expected. All sizable nugs. Pulled 65 grams.

Ok so it ends here. Loved this babies fron the begining. I was starting to have issues with neighbors about the smell so did the cut. I think not that far from point. Fresh weight Pheno 1: 322g Pheno 2: 288g Overall: 610g Hope like 180g dry.

Keep on moving and ripening through the end

Easy week, the plant is growing fast. Only feeding water for a few more weeks. Will start training next week and maybe top if needed. Nothing else to say, this is the boring part.

Coming along the weather I feel like it has slowed its growing but can’t complain for a plant that all I’ve given it it’s organic soil Gaia green amendments n my first grow ever I like but definitely room for much much improvement I wanna do compost teas just haven’t gone around it

Managed to sex out the males this week, especially easy since the girls were putting out some pre-flower pistils. Moved others around a little using my potato fork and now everyone is in a much better spacing. Bummer that 2 out of 3 were males, but that's ok! The ladies that are left will have more room to stretch. I gave them a little Big Bloom and some molasses.

Light schedule also changed on her…I expect it to be flowering soon.

D-104 : Last week, I noticed a problem related to the calcium OR to the Ph. I didn't know if it was a deficiency or an excess. So I tried to just wetered girls with the right Ph and A bit more of CalMag 0.8 > 1.2/L. We'll see this week if It was the good choice. fingers corssed ! D-110 : As Chocolate Haze 1/4 start to show nanners and her trichomes are mostly mature, I desicided today to remove her from the main room to settle her in the small room for 48h of black out. For her, the harvest and the drying process will start in 48h from now.

So far they are both not looking like winners :(, but I’ll keep them runting away for the contest sake. But I can honestly not understand what stunted them like this and caused this kind of mutation. The rock-wool was properly balanced, light was also dimmed, no sign of nutrient burn or deficiency….Very strange. The one that didn’t popped was replaced by an Afghan auto which so far is not showing any issues on the same feed.
