So in the last couple of weeks I tried to make the night time temperature go down enough for them to turn color and they did - the sugar leaves turned a deep bluish green, really nice coloring! I harvested over a 2-day period. Day 1 I hand-plucked the sugar leaves off plants # 1, 2, & 3. Day 2 I hand-plucked plants 4 & 5, trimmed all of them and cut them down whole. I hung them to dry in my closet/former grow room with a boot tray of water with a towel for evaporation. My last grow was a disappointment in the end due to me not realizing how dry it is in the house (here in the living room it's 19% RH due to it being January in Canada and the hot water heating radiators are going full time). When they were dry enough, I did the final trimming, removing all the waste and dividing the buds into 2 classes: Top tier which are the nice tops of the big colas, and 2nd tier, which are the rest. I think I'll learn to make hash with the 223 grams of wet sugar leaves. I'll be adding more to this final entry in the coming days - this has been really tiring! Final numbers for 5 ShishkaBerry plants: Top tier buds (dried not cured) 372g 2nd tier buds (dried not cured) 150g Hand plucked sugar leaves (wet) 223g Waste (Sticks, stems, burnt leaf tips) 128g I'm basing my comments on the taste by the glove-hash I smoked - wow it's really good! UPDATE 1: Today I might have made some tincture or something, not sure. I slow-roasted the dried but not cured previously hand plucked sugar leaves and crumbled them up and put them in a mason jar (51 grams 100% dry weight) and added a little bottle of Absolut Vodka (375 ml). I shook the mixture vigorously for a couple of minutes then placed it in a cool area of the house to sit for a few weeks before a first test - not totally sure what I'm doing here). UPDATE 2: Possibly made Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) out of the Alsolut vodka - ShishkaBerry mixture: I strained it so that there was no plant material, reduced it in a double boiler style, not sure what to do with the gooey stuff that's left as a result.

This ladies have gone trough a beautiful stretching that has allowed them to achieve a beautiful shape with secondary branches that will develop great nugs! Stay tuned guys, very excited about this 2 autos

**Week 8 - Third Week of Flower** Things are getting wild in the Donutz tent! After the insane stretch last week, the plants have turned the space into a full-on jungle. The start of Week 8 called for drastic measures, and the results are setting the stage for explosive bud production. **Key Updates**: - **Aggressive Defoliation**: On Day 1 of the third flower week, the plants underwent a *brutal* defoliation. Every bud site that had started to develop its own leaves was stripped of its fan leaves, allowing light to flood the canopy. Even the smallest sites now have excellent exposure, giving them the best chance to mature into chunky nugs in the coming weeks. Despite the intensity of the trim, the plants are resilient and primed to bounce back strong. - **Boosted Nutrients**: To support the plants after the stress of defoliation, I added another 5-6g of Greenhouse Feeding Bloom per plant. This ensures the soil stays nutrient-rich and gives the plants the resources they need to recover and thrive. - **Watering**: Still rocking reverse osmosis (RO) water, ensuring clean and efficient hydration without any surprises. **Observations**: - The canopy is significantly cleaner and more open, with light now reaching deeper into the lower sections. - The plants are handling the defoliation well, with no immediate signs of stress or shock. - Bud sites are already looking promising, with visible development and an even distribution across the canopy. **Looking Ahead**: The next few weeks will be all about letting the plants recover and watching the buds stack up. With improved light penetration and a fresh dose of nutrients, everything is lined up for some impressive development. The Donutz are thriving, and the Florida Gang vibes are at an all-time high — the tent is set to deliver big!

The situation is starting to get super interesting also for our Zamnesia photoperiods, we have new and very different strains that are expressing themselves very well, Karen Kush, Test 1, Test 2, Cosmic Noodles and Runtz are already making my mouth water, it is the grass that I will be consuming during the magical Christmas and end of year periods, it must be done well to give nice trips to me and those who are with me. The Cosmic Noodles that is growing straight has become my favorite and I will explain why- --- Plant 1 - The Cosmic Noodles is a marvel for the eyes. It is a plant with low distance between the internodes, which means that it comes short, not very tall so that is not a problem at all, in fact for the low growboxes of now it is essential not to have height problems. She has not grown regularly on all the branches is practically symmetrical in and the flowers are dense and of a quality that you can see will be superior. Aesthetically it is really super beautiful, the flowers are super dense and smell like paradise, I expect a lot from the last weeks of flowering --- Plant 2 had some problems in the veg phase and we did a topping, not bad but we will show it to you at the end there are no photos ---- Fertilization program - The two plants consume the right amount of water about 1.5 per day for a plant that is doing well and they are slightly over fertilized I do a slight climb during the week. Lowered the PPMs to 420 😎 Only added base nutrients. Her buds are still creating lots of resin and are getting thicker. Ripening nice with an elegant aroma of sweet citrus. I can’t wait to try her out soon! Next week will be her flush week, then time to harvest! I had to use zip ties on some of the bud sites due to how heavy they are. Next grow- definitely Doing LST right and different hydro set up. DWC is a great learning curve for hydroponics, but what a pain in the tush every week for feeding. Bottom line- I’m loving what I’m learning and I’m having fun doing it! 💜

Barneys Farm Seeds Red Diesel revegged Clone Grow 6 weeks of Flowering Completed 24th March 2020 Well another week has passed by and I find myself stuck at home under self isolation 😟 Not because I am sick but simply to do my part in limiting the spread of the virus. This plant continues to grow nicely albeit she has several seeded buds that I can see. She still smells and feels like she is developing resin so I'm not that worried about poor quality buds. Depending on the weather I aim to harvest her in about 2 weeks time. The seeds that are developing should be mature by then but i will definately sample a few to be certain. Feeds she had for this week were aprox 15 Litres of a mix containing Monstabud @10mls/L & Seaweed solution @1ml/L The sun is back here for the next few days so I hope she makes the most of it 😎 That is all for this week Thankyou for stopping by and taking the time to read my update 👍 Stay well ✊

the two BPP R3 in soil went into bloom. the dwc are starting to enter bloom slowly as well 36-42 The veg and seedling cycle on the three gallon pot was short and it's gone into bloom with very little stretching. All of the plants look healthy, they look fine, no nutrient. Or PH issues

10/14-its clear these babes want to flower. HULK A,C, and D are doing fine/bouncing back from my error in week 5. HULK B seems to have been affected the most and is trying to recover. -Im not going to neut feed until the middle of the week depending on how the plants look! 10/15- Watered with Rhizotonic to aid the plants. 10/18- Plants are growing again! and looking happy! all is well. 10/20- Last day of the week but I decided it was time to feed. I started the first round of bloom feed. P.S sorry about the purple light in all my photos! I broke the zipper to my grow tent so taking them out is super hard! I will try and take better photos here on out!

2 plants have finished stretching while the 2 small ones are still in veg? vegging plants are ~40cm, biggest plant 75cm😄 D29 2L bottomwatering, last time i defoliate the plants for at least one week. D32 mix or top and bottomwatering 5L per plant. 2 blooming plants got calmag+bloom, vegging plants got calmag+grow+pr I definitely overwatered today a bit, but the plants handled it fine. Documenting the progress after another week. Here's Week 3. Starting to show secondary leaves now coming in. "Acapulco Gold" and "Something Good" seem to be showing the most growth so far (more leaves, sticks in cups). Once they all get to be about as tall as the cups they're growing in, it will probably be time to transplant them into their bigger pots. These solo cups have a small hole for water to drain out as we've been manually feeding them and facing them where there's the most sun. During the day, it is sometimes warm enough to leave them outside. Lately, the air temperature has still been a bit too chilly. Once the air warms up some, we'll be putting about half of these plants in 3.5 gallon fiber pots and the other half in normal plastic pots. Day 30 of flower. Master kush strain. Plants in back right and front left. Roughly 30 days left to go in flower. Lights 1212 par value roughly 1000. I keep lowering my light no signs of light burn yet at 19 inches. Day temp 21-26 night 17-21. Rh% is set to 45-55%. Watering every third day. 4L per plant . No runoff. Every third water I give technaflora nutrients at 1400ppm. Water ph 6.2 Ive learned my plants love a water ph around 6.2. Even slightly altering this to 6.7 you can tell they don’t grow as much. Very excited for the next few weeks as you just sit back and watch them fatten up. See y’all next week.
