Nothing much to report. She’s settled in and working on full flower. Cleaned a couple low hanging leaves, no more snipping past week 3. Up to every other day watering, roughly a liter. She’s been a breeze so far. Till next week.

There are a lot of rock hard crystal laden purple buds that come from these plants. The smell is intoxicating and the look matches. There’s a bit of a head rush upon exhale and tingly sensation that rushes over your face for a sec. From there you’ve got a creative productive period that melts into total relaxation. We smoked this all day yesterday and had a very productive day followed by a couch-locked 3 holiday film marathon. Forgot to make dinner lol but didn’t forget to eat. Great times Overall the grow went well. We think we could’ve used less training over all and let the ladies get tall like they like. That said, we’re really happy with the yield given that we were figuring out a lot of stuff as we went. We have more of an established system now and expect to see some improved results in the future. We’re going right back in with another batch before we pop some exciting seeds. Week 6 for Moby Dick, She was moved outdoors at the start of the week, shes been adjusting well besides the fact shes been having issues with aphids 😥 But shes been getting sprayed water every sun rise to keep them under control as well as me going in there & killing them when i can spot them every morning & evenings. Trying to get my hands on some pyrol products to clean her up nicely as well as clean up the outdoor space. But wow look at her size... really looking forward to her coming out with some flowers😍

Week 5 for this beautiful plants. They just got fed with Goldleaf feterlizer and I added mycos chum and cal-mag to the mix. They are doing great so far with the feeding schedule and they are stretching really good. The pre-flower is going well they are starting to grow.

I just got myself a Digital Microscope for under $20.00 on Walmart.com, I got me a cheap one to start with so I can learn how to use it properly. But for under $20.00 this one brings 8 led lights, a adjustable mount, comes with 3 different connection choices build in, magnifies from 50-1000x, can take pictures and also videos and my favorite part, it connects right to my mobile device, you download and install a Google app and your ready to go, ill work with it and add pictures next week... The strain handled all my mistakes as a new grower great and is one of the reasons why I chose these strains. Just to name, bad Ph, over watering, over feeding was giving full dose instead of half, not watering to run off, not checking ppms and flushing right before harvest instead of weeks prior. I was not expecting the trichomes to look like diamonds as the video doesn’t do any justice. They really sparkle.

Day 36 I guess I can call it bloom. Nice strong pistils shooting all over. She is the tallest so far making me raise my lights a little more. Day 38 Now Californian Snow is the tallest :) Ztrawberry stopped at a perfect height, it looks like she's gonna develop into a beautiful lady. Fat white pistils all over 😻 Day 39 Happy girl got 2500ml cm bg bb bh 6.3ph ~1EC She is perfect, symmetrical, stopped stretching at about 50cm, flowers are mostly leveled, branches are strong, leaves point up unless I water. I think she's also turning purple. Beaut 😻 Day 42 I think I saw some burnt tips but she still looks super happy and healthy. The most vigorous plant I've had.

The Blumats are pretty much dialed in after a few days. I used 5ml of flying skull Z7 enzyme in my 5 gal reservoir to keep the reservoir clean. I also have been ph correcting the reservoir every morning to 5.8-6.0. The first day of week 4 I hand watered in Nutrients mix until runoff(about half gal). I removed the large fan leaves on all three plants, then I tied Down all my Mains to keep them horizontal. I applied another half gal of Nutrients mix on the 4th day of week 4. On the 6th day of week 4 I experienced a runaway with my Blumats because I changed the settings too much at once and flooded my grow box. I used a shop vac to suck up all the runoff. I refilled my reservoir, added enzymes and lowered the ph to 6.0. I then dialed in the blumats based on Blumats instructions and will only adjust in micro adjustments this time to avoid another runaway 😬 Luckily running in Coco Coir having the girls over saturated wasn't the worst thing and the roots are sucking up a lot of the extra moisture in the medium happily 😀

Humidity has been the biggest struggle. The dehumidifier I bought was complete useless only moved RH 1% down. Tried a couple different things to try to combat the excessively high RH (75+%) openings up extra flaps in the tent didn’t work so I decided to turn on my carbon Filter fan. Which seems to be maintaining it at 55%, however prior to me being able to start my fan I had to clear the water out of my exhaust ducting. It had accumulated at least 1/4 gal of water, this to me was a clear indication of my humidity problem. Another thing I want to rant about is PH pens I haven’t been able to find a pen worth a damn and yes I have been properly handling them. My first one died on a watering day and I didn’t have a back up so I ordered two more off amazon which don’t seem to be working well either. I ended up doing it the old school way with the drops and shaking it in a tester. Oh I also gave nutrition a break past two feedings I had a slight burn on the tips will probably do one more plain water then put her back on nutrition. Went back to nutrition early then I intend due to a slight nitrogen deficiency I don’t thing it’s gonna be a big issue just gonna continue to monitor.

11.12. My little one shines more and more from day to day. She drinks at least 4L a week, sometimes 8. She is fertilized according to the xpertnutrients scheme and loves it. All my plants love it. Now she is in the 5th week, I guess she will definitely need until the end of January. I have never seen such a phenotype, all the other grows with Grounded genetics that I have found did not look like this. Someone also said that something was wrong with it, because the leaves are asymmetrical (unfortunately no joke😆). It is beautiful and lives up to its name: FROSTYY😇😍 12.12. When looking at and checking, it is split at one point. At first I thought the branch was off, but since it really only split in the middle, I could just fix it. Unplanned high stress training 13.12. Today she moved with the other plants into the new Big Tent of Vevor. There are now two 100 watt lamps hanging there and supplying the ladies with light. Welcome to my diary for The Seedsman Tiny Pot Contest I was left with two difficult tasks. Firstly, what the hell am I going to grow in? It has to be something unique! Can't just be any ordinary small pot..... Secondly, what am I going to grow in it? It also has to be unique! Can't be just any ordinary pot..... The first obvious choice to me was a photoperiod. Since we are dealing with a micro root system, I would be able to train it like a Bonsai. As the roots get big, it would be easy to cut and maintain the root system before flower. Less chance of root bound and the plant would grow according to its environment. Then I said fuck it..... and chose an autoflower. It's a contest and I love a challenge! I landed on Oasis Genetics Auto Crystal Widow and a little hippo named Herbie! Herbie holds 0.081 gallons of soil. I'm hoping with a 12/12 light schedule it will keep the roots from getting out of control. Wish me luck!! GERMINATION: Day 1, dropped seed in small glass of water. After 12-18 hours the seed will be transferred to a wet paper towel until taproot forms. End of Day 4 taproot had reached 3/4" and it was time for soil.

Nutrient Management: While we planned to introduce a mild nutrient solution this week, we've decided to postpone it until the following week. This delay aligns with our cautious approach to ensure optimal conditions for the seedlings before initiating nutrient supplementation. Watering Schedule: The seedlings were watered with RO water enriched with Orca and Rhizotonic, using a spray bottle. This gentle watering approach ensures they receive the necessary moisture without over-saturation. Light Settings: The light intensity has been adjusted to approximately 25-30%, providing an estimated 180 PPFD. This careful adjustment aligns with the increasing growth demands during this phase. Tent Controller Effectiveness: The Tent X Controller, although not yet in the same tent as our Epic Buzz plants, has proven effective in maintaining optimal environmental conditions in the unoccupied tent. Its seamless integration contributes to the overall stability of temperature, humidity, and light settings. Reflection and Planning: As we reflect on the past week, the robust growth of the Epic Buzz plants speaks to their resilience and the effectiveness of our adjusted care routine. It took more than 5 months to grow this lady.. Top quality budd but what a yield only 47 grams dry... Maybe its because the seeds were too old (5 years) but its still very nice terps and the profile of geno that I was hunting for 😊
