Amazing progress across the board in the tent the last week. Development has been positive for The New and Black Dog, Bubba has swollen up bud wise, and it’s still another week away or so (flowering is supposed to be 50-55 and we’re at 50 today). Chemdawg smell is getting stronger but not too aggressive, and it’s fate king nicely on most colas. Even at the bottom of the plant the buds look nice. It’s an amazing strain, can’t wait to smoke it.

07/23/24. Going into week 4 flower Not much to report on this week. Slow going pretty much so far, but starting some bud growth now. Stretch seem done, though it was minimal surprisingly. Most bud sites are sitting right below the trellis lol. Have spotted an angry leaf. Looks like potassium deficiency, so I’ll be upping a tad and see how it goes. Haven’t changed anything else since last updates.

I think the emerson effect far red led light strip worked too well I never seen sativas look ready at 6 weeks lol.

Week 6 of flowering and my ladies are starting to smell quite a bit. Caramelino has a very funky fruity smell while the northern light has a fruity, musky smell. Looking forward to what's ahead! Peace

Started adding CalMag for first time, used half of dosage. Root is developing well, reached the water.

9/4/24 shes got some sort of pests. believe its multiples but only small amounts that ive been able to keep back with different sprays but coming next week or so, i wont be able to. or at the very least, i prefer not spraying anything at all. i used my macro lens on my phone and was able to pick up some nice trichome shots. Goofiez has thick headed trichs that stand up quite well. Probably a good yielding hash strain. 9/9 shes still stretching. up to 32 inch

In der Woche wurde noch nicht viel getan außer nach Gefühl zu wässern und den Ladys beim wachsen zuzuschauen. Dazu gab es nur jeweils 1ml/L PowerRoots von Plagron. Schwer zu sagen was jede Lady bekommen hat. Es waren vielleicht alle zwei Tage ca 250-300ml. Ich hab nur auf das Topfgewicht geachtet. Die erste kleine Hitzewelle haben die Ladys gut überstanden und wachsen prächtig. Die ersten Anzeichen der Seitentriebe machen sich auch so langsam startklar. Finally transplanted using Azos and Mykos. 7 gallon pots of pure coco. Decided to go with only 8 plants instead of the 12 allowed by law where I live. 3 lights, end to end, and the room is 6x12. There is a pickle barrel outside the room for the nutrient reservoir. By next weekend the first net will go up across the entire room. Gonna fill the net and flip the lights in the next 3 to 4 weeks.

Hello growers day 65 in the garden starting to get some purple in her now she is starting to swell up so happy days she’s looking pretty good considering I’ve only give her water from my tap from the start happy growing be safe until next week peace ✌️

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

Hi everyone this last few weeks have been crazy as you all can see this Gelato turned out to be a Photoperiodic plant. Week 17 in to flower for 2 weeks now. All was going well but I did not have much time to look after it. And got some light burn in the early stages did some training techniques and She looks is recovering now. Some nice pictures how big one of those can get when I wasn't expecting this plant to be a Photoperiodic. But let's see she turned out a female so that's great will be a nice surprise probably. Commencing Week 9 - 1st week of flowering - Day 57 from germination - Day 6 of 12/12 on December 19th All is well. Much has happened. Clones and bonsai training. 818 already has pungent, awesome scent. GZ are still beasts. RD & BH have fantastic natural shape. D.61t/10f RDs Sativa growth is showing off now and stretching out as expected. looking beautiful. what she lacks in Veg State growth is definitely made up during bloom. hoping she fills in the holes of the canopy

7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. She’s finally down 😸 I finished harvesting the lower buds this morning. Most of the buds appeared to have matured. Filled another one and a half hangers, I can’t get over how much this plant has produced. All the buds feel solid to the touch and the trichome coverage is phenomenal. She’s got a really sweet gassy aroma, with a funky backend. I’ve done a final trim on all the top/mid buds, they’re just having a few more days to finish up. Sorry for the lack of pictures, I 100% plan on doing a final smoke report update with an overall yield and plenty of pictures. Made a small test batch of rosin from the final trim, came out fantastic, it’s retained all the smell, it’s ridiculously strong and smokes extremely smooth 😻. Another fantastic strain by In House Genetics, if you are looking for premium quality flowers grab a pack! —————————————————— SMOKE REPORT & FINAL WEIGHT —————————————————— For some reason it won’t let me add the final smoke report so I’m adding it here underneath 😸🤷‍♂️ hopefully it’ll be seen. I’ve finally got round to trimming the last of the Slurricane and I was amazed with how well she yielded. I got 9 ounces of solid buds that are covered in a ridiculous amount of trichomes! I don’t have any way of testing her but she looks like a 30%+ THC content, absolutely phenomenal buds. I also got 2 ounces of smaller leafier buds that were round the bottom of the plant and a stupid amount of premium quality trim. All this has been frozen to make into Rosin at a later date. The Buds themselves have a unique smell and taste, it’s gassy, but has a strange sweet taste that lingers In the mouth. I’ve never really had anything like it before. She packs an absolute punch! Immediate flushing to the face whether it be Rosin or Flower, I’d say she leans more to the indica side of things, but that could just be me 🤷‍♂️ All the top buds have had a weeks cure and are smoking unbelievably smooth even at this stage 😸 I’m storing some of it in a jar and I’ve posted a pic of the bottom of it, it’s almost completely white from the loose trichomes that have shaken off 😻. The Rosin I’ve made so far has been fantastic and I’ve only used trim, I’ve yet to press any flower, but I reckon she should give some decent returns! Overall she’s ticked a lot of the boxes for things I look for in a decent keeper plant. I’ve got a mother clone vegging so I’ll be running groups in the future. Great plant, great smoke 😻🌱💚
