All the plants are building buds. This herercane has big pistils just like the jack herer parent. Hoping the sugar cane brings some elevated frost to it. Gave them a little beastie bloomz. I cut them off the maxigro today since the leaf tips are burning. Other than that everything is going smooth.

Into flower we go and so far she looks really damn fine! I keep her very low whit lst because my grow space doesn’t allow high plants right now 😂 But I love lst, it gives me time to sit beside my tent and just play with my girls 😂

Week 3 Day 1: whew! I feel like we catching our stride! Last week was a battle with the numbers. The AC infinity Vegetative recipe had my devices all over the place (like my lights refused to come on and go off on schedule as they had been). Thennnn once I got the schedule together the humidity starting rising like a MFer! I think the rain last week contributed to it and of course it’s summer so that doesn’t help. I broke and got a dehumidifier on Facebook marketplace and now the humidity is under control, but the temps are up to 85 during the day sometimes! I opened two vents, so I’m hoping this balances it all out. Will start LST, and feeding later this week.. early next week! Week 3 Day 5: Well, well, well.. things are looking manageable and for that I am grateful. Humidity is still higher than desired.. humidifier is working.. but it’s not pumping the water out into my drain hole. I’m on vacation for the weekend, and washed clothes before I left and it jumped up again. So I’m hoping it continues to drop, because we did notice some powdery mildew. We think it’s due to the large number of plants in this 3x3 tent.. but we cut that off and spread them out and moved the fans and are hoping for the best. Plants have been topped and are ready to get started with low stress training and will be moved up to 5 gallon pots. That’s all folks, signing off.. almost one month in! Noticed some slight tacoing on leaves, changed to my 18/6 light schedule to help control temps and give some rest. Noticed some nute burning also, will full flush next week.

The Cookie Girls are doing great 😊 Overall, I’m very pleased with the results so far. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. At day 12 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, while I tucked, I snapped more than a couple of tops off, but the plant continues to thrive. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. I had suspected that these wonderful young ladies would require more time to reach peak Harvest and i was correct. Allowing these the extra week has allowed for some excellent weight gain and additionally allowing for more Trics to form and start to change color. Using my mag glass i have determined that now is the time to start my pre harvest. I have removed some of the larger leaves allowing for more light to penetrate lower down the plant, this has now allowed the lower nugs to finish of and bulk up the best they can. I feel the Harvest of the Purple Queen is imminent however finding the right moment will be more tricky. As this is the last Flowering week update i will be posting on this Strain.
