Looking good started to flower this last week.

The plants have been receiving around 1300 µmol of light for more than a week. The osmosis water is enriched with fertiliser up to 1.9 ms This value is not expected to rise any further as the plants have become very dark green. There may only be water for a few days. The development up to this point in the 4th week of flowering is very satisfactory. Both genetics have obviously been thoroughly selected.

Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. At the moment I write this in August 2021, the lights are 408,20 euro when sent from Germany to the rest of Europe, that's 40 euro cheaper than the other Mars outlets, BUT EVEN 60 euros cheaper than ordering at a grow store!! The Strain: Experts Seeds - Expert Gorilla feminized regular. Don’t let the name fool you because Expert Gorilla is suitable for growers of any skill level. However, you do need to be an experienced smoker because Expert Gorilla is one of the most potent strains on the market. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! First off, that mf holds it's name very well. The smell on that strain is phenomenal. Much of fruity citrus and earthy notes and that's without the curing. I smoked a bit to get a taste. Smoke and taste quite harsh but that should go away with the curing. I harvested 634g wet, including a lot of stems, and ended up with 121g dried. they lost 80% of their mass and I might have over-dried them since I expected to get more tbh. However that's more than enough to get me through next harvest. The 3 plants turned out to be pretty different phenotype. All over pretty great but one could have used denser buds. They don't have the same maturity which means I got buds for all occasions. Kept the trimmings in the freezer for an hour and also harvested 0.67g of kief with a 220 micron bag. A lot of impurities but that was to be expected. I don't think the calcium problem has had a significant impact. Overall very happy with the product and the experience.

📅 Week 13 | Days 92–98 📅 🌼🌸🌺 Flowering Phase 🌼🌸🌺 Day 98 🌞 – Oreoz 🔸 Oreoz is looking like an absolute showstopper this week. The buds are incredibly dense and completely frosted with thick, glistening trichomes – it almost looks like they’ve been dusted with snow. Resin production is off the charts, especially on the top colas. Trichomes: Mostly milky with some still clear – no ambers yet. She's not quite ready, but getting close. 🔸 Climate control has improved. Humidity started the week at 63%, but with the dehumidifier now running and all clip fans at full power, it's being maintained steadily between 50–60%. That little climate shift is definitely helping – the buds are chunking up without any signs of stress. The slight 2–3°C increase in tent temperature is worth it. 🔸 Nutrients: 1 week of Overdrive (Advanced Nutrients) before the flush phase. Water intake has already slowed down noticeably – another good sign that the end is near. 📈 Current Conditions 🌡️🔆 = 27°C 🌡️🌜 = 20°C 💨 VPD Target = 1.4 - 1.6 💨 Humidity = 63% → Target: below 60% 🔦 PPFD = 900 µmol (12/12) 🔦⌚ DLI = ~38 🛠️ Setup (unchanged) 💡 Lights: 2 x Sanlight Evo 4-120 @ 90% ⛺ Tent: 120 x 120 x 180 🍯 Pot Size: 18 liters 🌱 Medium: Bio-Bizz Light Mix 💊 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients 💧 Water: Tap water (EC 0.5)

Day 21 of Veg and we have started our LST! We are just bending down the tallest branches and encouraging lateral growth. We have topped and we will top once more before flower. We are about to put these 10 ladies in the 4x4

The single plant of BADAZZ from RIPPER SEEDS harvested a very good amount of 67 gram of dried bud. The buds were not very big, but insanely frost and dense, she was the SECOND BEST YIELDER in the HOMEBOX tent. A VERY DANK VARIETY! She reeks of KUSH and also tastes like it when smoke a very fully, gassy aroma and taste, VERY DELICIOUS!

Plants are comming up to finish, defoliated all fan leaf leaving sugar leaf only. Plants given water only as plenty or residual nutes still in the soil. Possiably going to harvest end of the week as new set are starting to stretch and need to be placed in the tent.

Pubblico oggi ad 8 giorni perché la settimana scorsa avevo pubblicato a 6 giorni così mi sono rimesso in paro,siamo arrivati alla 6 settimana di vita per le più grandi,quasi 4 1/2 per le più piccole, sono diventate altissime,una si é allungata un pò per via di una carenza di manganese poi risolta con l'inverdente SANA COMPO,però promettono bene sono molto grandi e già i prefiori strabordano di resina,continuiamo questo percorso e vedremo col passare del tempo la grandezza dei fiori

The plants continue to grow although slowly. I turned the Gavita back on this week and even at 42 inches it seems to be too much light at full power because although they're getting adequate nutrients, the leaves appear to be showing signs of damage to the chlorophyll pigments. I'd like to splurge and get the adapter and controller so that I can dim the light and slowly increase the intensity to allow for a more gradual photo acclimation period, but I will probably hold off until my next run. I've also considered adding supplemental Co2 to help the plants more effectively tolerate and take advantage of the light intensity, but it seems like a big expense for an uncertain benefit considering all of the other variables that are sub-optimal. Perhaps I'll give those Excellofizz Co2 pucks a try. Someday I'll build sealed grow room with automated Hvac, feeding, and Co2 enrichment but for now I'll soldier on and hope for the best as the flip to 12-12 approaches. More to come next week!

So she had some nice growth this last week. I'm hoping this next week is its last bit of growth, can only move the light up another 3 to 4 inchs. I've got to clean up the lower section A bit more, more growth there then I'd like. So far it's growing a lot nicer then the last plant I did in this tent with a SCRog set up. The size of the squares on the last grows netting were 6" and this one is 4". Way easier to get a proper looking SCRog plant then with the 6" that's for sure. Now that the temperature outside has warmed up the night time temperature has been better then earlier weeks. The humidity has also gotten a lot better. Especially after I add a 4" muffin fan to the lower 4" duct hole. The humidity went up but the temperature went down a bit during lights on. Ive had to lower my temperature switch just to get the 4" duct fan to turn on to suck out the stail air. Think what I'll do is add a second plug to the temperature switch so I can add the 4" muffin fan to it so that itll only turn on when the temperature goes up instead of running 24/7. I've increased the feed up to 1000ppm and am give it 1.5L of water a day with 250ml max run off. My run off ppm is only 1080ppm so that's a great sign so far. I've been trying my best to keep the ppm levels equal every feed but itf luctuates a bit but no more then 60-80ppm. Same with my Ph, because I'm using the Jungle Juice base nutrients it's not part of Advanced Nutrients Ph perfect line so I have to adjust it. I usually try to have it swing back and forth between 5.9 and 6.1 and the plant seems to be liking it. Tho I'm not done this grow yet this light is doing a lot better in this tent then the last light. Only downside is that one burnt out diode. Because I always try to plan a grow ahead, I'm already planning on trying that last light out again (Phlizon PH-1000 125w that they apparently don't make anymore). But this time it's going to be in my 2x3x5 fusion hut tent with Royal Queen Seeds Fast Eddy CBD AUTO strain. Also going to add a ex hale bag to it. Well that's all for now growmies. Keep growing!!!

The week is progressing wonderfully, it's been 8 or 9 days since I flipped them and they have completed the transition and are really starting to stretch. CF#1 is 24 inches, CF#2 is 32 inches CF#3 is 25 inches and CF#4 is 27 inches. #2 by far has been the biggest and quickest developer of the 4. I wonder if the fact that it is directly under the CO2 bag?? I fed them 1.5 tsp of the g.h. flora series this week, called myself stepping it up a notch. The second feeding I fed them plain tap water p.h.'d to 6.6 ish. I upped the amount of water to 3 liters for one feeding (the one with the nutes) it created alot of run off, which the plant eventually sucked up. I was a bit surprised because I thought for sure a 10 gallon pot would take atleast 2 gallons of water or more to see runoff. In this case it appears a little over 2 liters until the first signs of runoff. This is the first grow where my plants have made it this far without showing nute burns at the tips, they seem to be loving my feeding cycle. I plan on adding another trellis net in about a week or two, once they stop stretching, I know from experience with this strain the buds are going to grow nice and dense and cause the branch to sag over without the extra support.
