Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. Week 16 Happy Easter week. 4/9-15/23 Flushing, nights in the dark with cold feet. This is week 2 of flushing before the harvest. Sunday I flushed each plant with 1 1/2 gal of filtered water after layering ice the top of the pots. After flushing they were just put in the room not in the tent. I had an ocsellating fan moving on a medium speed. Moved to the garage for the night. Tuesday flushed each plant with 1 1/2 gal of filtered water after layering ice the top of the pots. Harvest is moved to this weekend rather than next Tuesday as planned. Wednesday all three plants were put in the dark room put ice on top of the pot. No further flushing will be done. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Lights remained off Temp 73. Rh 71% when I opened the dark room. The dark room has black out curtains, however there is l8ght exposure around the edge of the curtain. Saturday afternoon photos taken pre cut, tricomes photographed as best I could. Additional hands are Required as I must take 50 pictures only to get 5 acceptable ones. Cut from the base of her stem , weighed and hung in the tent in the dark with a small fan . The drying has begun. Wet harvest weight 253 grams 8.9oz. April 15-19 Hanging in dark room with temperatures ranging from 73-77f Rh 49-74. April 20 - 22 Hanging in dark room with temperatures ranging from 71-77f Rh 50-80. The higher humidity is a result of turning the home a/c off during the night. Since its drying time and not much to say. I decided to locate photos of the same plant at day 20 of flower when I did the last heavy defoliation and side by side comparison to the day of harvest. I don't know if this is a normal harvest or small yield for OG Kush. See last pic in week 16. She will be drying for 2 weeks or so. I have been checking the stem stiffness or bendiness since the humidity fluctuates. It does not snap yet.

Day 79 Heut wurde gegossen mit Dünger und Neemöl Neemöl wurde auch gespritzt Day 82 Heute wurde gegossen mit Calmag Day 84 Heute habe ich bei allen 3 Ladys unten rum leicht entlaubt und einige Triebe entfernt Anfangs der Woche war es ziemlich kalt und die Ladys haben die Blätter hängen lassen (6grad) Ende der Woche ist es endlich Warm geworden und sie stehen wieder prächtig da, vereinzelt hab ich Löcher von kleinen Heuschrecken aber noch nicht all zuschlimm. Ich habe auch die Calmag Menge erhöht da leichte Mangelerscheinungen zusehen waren. Die Ladys wachsen und gedeihen sehrgut #1 100cm #2 120cm #3 158cm

She's flowering fast and well. But she's late, I hate her. I really don't know what will remain of her after this storm. Wednesday after the rain/wind I've found 2 lateral branches broken.

Wetter war gut, nur einmal Regen, 3 fat banana sind im trockenraum, die anderen beiden kommen in den nächsten Tagen dazu.sind fast fertig. Die zz legen an buds zu, wie sie sollen, Nr.5 schon im fading... special queen macht sich langsam. Toppen war die richtige Entscheidung. Critical verzweigt sehr gut 👍. Lst funktioniert. Missed few weeks here so long story short Flowering day 25 (wouldn’t let me chose week 4, only week 5 and up smh) Had few stressed days for the plants But they are beautiful and healthy Tent smells like heaven Trichomes and buds building up

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Flower Week 4 Day 28 to 34 - 4/15 to 4/21 Seeing some purple on the leave and they are really pointing up now... They both look extremely healthy this week. I cant really say enough about the autopot system, the once a week effort is a game changer for me. Feed this week was an auto pot reservoir feed now at 750ppm total before add-ins. I used 750ppm of Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.8 where Io plan to maintain it until harvest. Next week nutes will decrease in Bloom mix again. The signs of trichomes, pistols, and calyx are all about 3 weeks from harvest now, so feed will be 400ppm before add-ins for with 5.8ph before feeding.

This one was a f igther all the way , but she stilll gave her best , i will try her out again, i have her drying for 15 days with temps stable at 18 and RH also stable at 60% and it took her about 2,5 weeks to get to a point i like and trim. she is a deligth and super easy trimming and amazing sweet smell all over wen you do it , i mean just look at them photos , amazing.
