Week after week she continues growing, building, and strengthening herself, while many of the other ladies around her have already begun flowering. At first glance someone might think something is wrong. But that's exactly why this project exists. Sometimes the greatest lessons come from the plants that refuse to do what we expect. 🌱 Why This Project Exists One of the goals of this entire 8×8 Adventure has never been simply to grow beautiful plants. The real objective is education. Every plant in this room receives exactly the same opportunity. The same room. The same light schedule. The same nutrients. The same temperatures. The same humidity. The same CO₂. The same care. The only thing that's different... ...is the genetics. By documenting every phenotype individually, we can see something many growers never have the chance to observe. Plants are individuals. Even sisters from the same seed pack don't always make the same decisions. And Passion Fruitz is giving us the perfect example. 🌿 Still Growing... And That's Perfectly Fine While many of her neighbours have already started producing flowers, Passion Fruitz remains comfortably in vegetative growth. No pistils. No stretch into bloom. No rush whatsoever. Instead, she's investing every bit of energy into building herself. Her canopy has become noticeably fuller. Her branching is becoming stronger. The stems continue thickening, and every new node adds to an increasingly compact and healthy structure. She isn't falling behind. The internodal spacing remains incredibly tight. Every growing tip looks vigorous, with fresh new growth appearing almost daily. This week required almost no intervention. A little gentle leaf tucking here and there was enough to improve light penetration while allowing her natural structure to continue developing uninterrupted. Sometimes doing less is exactly what the plant needs. 💧 Letting Her Write Her Own Story Her feeding program remains focused on healthy vegetative development, providing everything she needs while avoiding the temptation to push her faster than she's ready to go. There's no special treatment. No attempt to force flowering. No drastic adjustments. Just consistency. One of the biggest lessons growing has taught me over the years is that patience often produces the best results. Every plant deserves the opportunity to grow at her own pace. 🌡️ The Environment Remains Stable As with every plant in this project, Passion Fruitz continues enjoying stable environmental conditions that allow her genetics to express themselves naturally. Week 16 Happy Easter week. 4/9-15/23 Flushing, nights in the dark with cold feet. This is week 2 of flushing before the harvest. Sunday I flushed each plant with 1 1/2 gal of filtered water after layering ice the top of the pots. After flushing they were just put in the room not in the tent. I had an ocsellating fan moving on a medium speed. Moved to the garage for the night. Tuesday flushed each plant with 1 1/2 gal of filtered water after layering ice the top of the pots. Harvest is moved to this weekend rather than next Tuesday as planned. Wednesday all three plants were put in the dark room put ice on top of the pot. No further flushing will be done. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Lights remained off Temp 73. Rh 71% when I opened the dark room. The dark room has black out curtains, however there is l8ght exposure around the edge of the curtain. Saturday afternoon photos taken pre cut, tricomes photographed as best I could. Additional hands are Required as I must take 50 pictures only to get 5 acceptable ones. Cut from the base of her stem , weighed and hung in the tent in the dark with a small fan . The drying has begun. Wet harvest weight 253 grams 8.9oz. April 15-19 Hanging in dark room with temperatures ranging from 73-77f Rh 49-74. April 20 - 22 Hanging in dark room with temperatures ranging from 71-77f Rh 50-80. The higher humidity is a result of turning the home a/c off during the night. Since its drying time and not much to say. I decided to locate photos of the same plant at day 20 of flower when I did the last heavy defoliation and side by side comparison to the day of harvest. I don't know if this is a normal harvest or small yield for OG Kush. See last pic in week 16. She will be drying for 2 weeks or so. I have been checking the stem stiffness or bendiness since the humidity fluctuates. It does not snap yet.

I had a busy week. I updated my 4" exhaust fan to a Cloudline 6" booster exhaust fan and a bigger carbon filter. I also added another mini-fan that can oscillate and I had to add a heater. Why you ask? Because I got a CO2 tank from a friend and it is recommended to have temps in between 85-95 degrees. Granted I could have used it three weeks ago but better late than never. I have a nice CO2 monitor inside the chamber and I use the internal video camera to watch the readings. I have also added some HydroGuard to help the roots. They are slightly brown and another grower recommended it. Daphni continues to grow well and has maintained her dark green color. She has also started to make pistils and they are starting to form into buds just three days after first pistil sighting. I can smell her now too. latest readings are Air Temp = 79F, Humidity = 42%, PPM = 1810, pH = 5.9. Concerning my roots, I put a black trash bag over the top of the reservoir to keep as much light out as possible. The reservoir is tan and white and I think light was getting thru.

I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 69 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. So the plant in the back will get her flush in the coming days and the other two need at least one week before raising the pk13/14 to the maximum 15ml per 10 liters of water. I was flushing all the plants since August 9. You can see in the videos with de microscope ( I really try my best, but it was pretty difficult) the trichomes looks cloudy and some of them looks amber. Maybe in the videos you can't see it because my hand was really shaky. August 17: all the plants were in dark. August 18: i cleaned all the plants, buds, leafs, everything..., spraying water to remove the rests of potasic soap. Today august 18, during the nigth, i'm going to harvest all the ladies. In the past 3 days i didn't watering the plants and the smell was stronger. August 19: Before dry -Critical Kush: 150g -Red dwarf: 60g -Syrup (2 plants): 270g -Lemon (4 plants): 570g

She is looking beast. She caught up to her sister but won't need to be topped. The leaves are not showing any discoloration on the Gaia green. Just add water...

Week 7 (Day 49) – Week 4 of Flower: This little beast may only be 10 inches tall, but she's dripping in trichomes. Every bud site is frosting up heavy, and even the sugar leaves are coated like she got hit with a snowstorm. You can see the resin starting to glisten under the lights — sticky and strong already. No signs of slowing down either. She's staying compact but dense, stacking nicely with solid development. Still feeding bone meal and Morbloom, and she’s taking it like a champ. Smell is starting to punch through the tent walls now — sweet, funky, and loud. She's got that "touch me and your fingers are stuck" vibe going.

At this Time i check every days the trichomes that they are getting brown. I start flush at the days 54-55-56-57 approximately depend on the plants and trichomes at this moment. I got a bit of problems of température for the night because of the days more hot.. but I managed with air conditioner to get between 19 and 20 degrees during the night. I got some big and old leaves started to be a bit yellow on moby dicks. I think it’s a good sign at this moment of the flowering time. I will try to managed as better as I can to be on time with the flush and the maturation of the buds. I got also some smalls bugs but no worries for me, I wait about minimum 6 days before watering so it let the earth on top really dry so no developement of theses bugs and their eggs. 16/07 gave her the chop after 8 days flush and 2 days darkness. Aiming for at least 10 days drying time. My scales couldn't read her wet weight without being cut up, which in not doing yet.

They’re hungry and sucked up their second dose of heavy feed. But this time it’s the bloom solution. Sf2000 at full power! One plant has a clear genetics problem and I fear I’ll have to set my controls just to handle the good pheno and hope for the best with tiny Tim.

All I can say is wow. The crystal development and the absolute stank of this genetic is something to behold. A brush of the arm against a set of pistils will leave you with matted arm hair and a difficult mess to clean. Strong limonene presence in 2 of the phenos, heavy red color through most stems. Will be a very special harvest and a very sticky trim. The frost is living up to the hype so far

Our Northern Lights is flourishing beyond expectations. The buds are incredibly dense and continue to swell daily. I'm keeping the tent closed more often now to manage the strong smell. This intense aroma is a clear indicator of the quality and health of our plant. Looking back at the initial issues we faced, it's incredible to see how beautifully our Northern Lights has turned out. Her resilience and our adaptive approach have led to this stunning result. The EC level is now stable at 1.3, and she seems to be responding well to it. Over the next two weeks, I plan to gradually decrease the nutrient levels and then start the flushing process.
