Well week 15 and 5th week of flower started yesterday, 9/12. I did a little more defoliation over the weekend, maybe cut 20 leaves altogether. Everything is still looking good. Temps are good, rh is good, airflow is definitely good. And judging by the frosty trichs that are showing I'd say everything is right on schedule. Starting to get more smell. That's about it for now. Fruity Pebbles autoflower growing in the Blue Planet is going huge. I am pretty sire I had 2 different phenom types growing. She is starting to bulk and has lots of bud sites to fill. Using the paper towel method, my girl's taproot starting showing after 24 hours. I also buffered my medium with Multi Total and Calmag, before flushing with pH 6 water to a low EC. Once the taproot was 3/4 inch long, I planted her into the coco and watered her with RO water at PH 6.2 for a few days. I also switched my light on (first at 20% power and 30 inches away from seedling, gradually up to 40% at 25 inches). Until the first leaves unfurled, I kept the light on for 24 hours. After the first cotyledons opened I switched my light to 18/6 at 60% power and have given her the first dose of nutes at EC 400. Think we can say germination was a success so on with week one! 🌱 💡

Did some defoilation, temp looks good. Gave water with cinnamon. This would be a nature remedy against those flies.

"Chugging" along this week. Weather is hot, girls are loving the all time drip system. Forgot that my nutes and hot sun dont mix well and created a bad case of algae. Will monitor more often and maybe increase the drip flow

Very Happy plants, soaking up the rays. When you place your face near the buds you get an amazing sweet fruity aroma, the leaves smell like skunk and cheese. Each plant is getting 10 liters every 4 days. I water with 6.3ph tap water twice for every time I add nutrients. I use Alaska fish fertilizer when its been a few times since a nutrient feed but the plants are showing no deficiency's. They are Fed by a drip system which takes 16 hours to deliver the 10 liters to each plant, this works really well in the Fabric smart pots. I use metal racks to keep the plants off the ground then place a drip tray underneath each plant. When using the drip system very little run off occurs. I added a spider farmer sf-1000 to the room, it is full spectrum and ir, and is great for getting the corners of the room or the less dense areas of the canopy.

These ladies are super healthy I want to feed them but a little worried about nute burn so I'll hold off a few days or dilute the feed I have. I just lowered the light a bit and dimmed it because I want them to stretch. That is known as crop steering I want them to all get tall and eventually I may set them in a greenhouse once flowering or big enough.
