Seriously fruity and frosty strain I’d definitely recommend to anyone, for my third and fourth pants I’m really happy with how they turned out however some issues could have been avoided and I could’ve done a better job myself but overall I’m pretty pleased and a round of applause to Fastbuds 💚

This week I harvested these two Quebec Black Bud, it was really a great experience. Its unique appearance and these colors charm us from start to finish. Calm in vegetation but surprises us in flowering. I can't wait to see the final product 😇 Harvest : Pheno #1 day 56 flowering 119 total Pheno #2 day 60 flowering 123 total Training : They have received my hand manipulation since day 8 and this every day to force them to grow bigger and stronger until the addition of the scrog. I started my base again on a manifold. For now I'm having fun like that, let's see later 😁 I'll leave you with these beautiful photos and come back to you later. After drying and curing I realize how the color is an intense purple almost black, The genetics are not called Quebec black bud for nothing. the buds are really compact, I know that with the auto pot system I give myself a chance that they will be denser but I believe that hard training leaves its mark.

Week 7 was awesome! She finally took off into flower and has started to put on visible inflorescence. This was a great development as I was afraid I was going to have to manually flip her. This means I can finish the run outdoors as planned and wont have to contend with fitting her in the tent with the photos who are currently finishing their run. I continued some light LST this week and it looks like I wont be able to train her into quite as pronounced of a spiral as I had hoped as she is going to need to have her apical meristem turned up to follow the lower branches that have now surpassed it in height. This is not a big deal though as the canopy still looks great and I am happy with how she turned out. I think she is set up for a nice finish. She continues to exhibit strong growth and a hearty resistance to outdoor conditions here that can often take weaker genetics of any species down in a heartbeat. I'm not sure if it is typical for this cultivar to flower so late in the run but I can't say I mind it that much. The extra veg time will make for a strong harvest, I think. I've been most impressed with Dinafem's gear so far. Definitely top notch. I'm already most the way through week 8 and can't wait to show you guys what she's done in the next update. Good News everyone ! after a week in 12/12 cycle they still feel happy ( no more yellow leafs ! ) They are thirsty AF ( i added 16L this week ) and it's only the beginning :x ... Stretch phase has begun, i saw them growing visibly day after day, i made a small timelapse for you, tell me which one you prefer. pH i pretty stable now, EC is between 1.8 and 1.9 and don't fluctuate so everything is ok. the only thing that worries me is roots progression 😁 i can see some roots approaching the water pump in front of the tank 😂 ==> i'm gonna cut you if you go too close from the pump ^^'

Aug 10: added malted barley and Power Bloom for second time as a top dressing. Aug 13: don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you are then using a 730 nm far red light to put them into dark mode. Otherwise you’ll be messing too much with the light cycle and might cause them to hermie. I have no proof but I’m theorizing the red light light might help prevent hermies. Worked last year anyway. Buds look good in flash pics so it’s a nice side benefit of using the red light as a bloom booster. Aug 16: good week for weather and she looks great.

This girl continued to fade out but at the end of the week the trichomes were barely cloudy. Peace! I finally defoliated a bunch of the dead leaves. Oh, and I finally pulled out the tape measure. She's 44" tall. Google it if you need a metric conversion...

Well... What a very very stressful week this has been, A few pistils started browning. I went over each girl no Nana’s definitely all female, started panicking thinking I maybe had bugs, root rot e.t.c. Flushed for two days and all new growth showed healthy signs kicking out some serious trichomes! Smells beautiful and PH for the run off was exact. Gave 1/2 Nutrients/Feed today for the first time just to ease the girls back in but fingers crossed I have either had some PH issues or wind burn possibly. Had to Defoliate again today as the foliage was ridiculous😂 I hope next week isn’t so stressful 🙏🏻 Wish me luck man please I need it 🤦‍♂️🏻😅

Day 71 - I watered her with nutrients, PH was at 5.3. Plant looks very healthy. I think i need to get some stucks to support stem. Day 72 - Checked in the morning properly, the plants looks fine checked for hermies couldn't see anything. Day 73 - I checked her today again nothing that can ruin the whole crop. She was watered with nutrients today at PH 5.9. I got new lights today spider farmer sf2000, this looks amazing inside there. We have also done a bit of light Defoliating so the buds have more nutrients. Day 74 - The plant is fine but the temperature is very high after getting new lights its on 34°c I've order a new fan so i can have inlet and outlet to try cool it down. Day 75 - The plant looks a bit sore thats because i should have watered her earlier. I've given the plant 5.5PH water with nutrients. Day 76 - So once again i didn't take a picture today.  I was very busy and didn't have time. I checked the plants as soon as i woke up and they looked well and healthy. Day 77 - Plants looks well would like it o look like its gonna give me a half decent yield but i don't know let's see how it goes. I also watered her today with nutrients and the water Ph was at 5.5.

Day 71 - Ripening Day 5 a. she drinks 4L a day, slowing down from the 5L a day b. the buds are still growing every day is noticeable c. the pistils on the flowers are nearly all orange and brown, there are no new white pistils growing, but still few white pistils remain d. trichomes are very milky white, still some clears and no amber I can see on the actual buds, few ambers on random leafs e. this will probably be the last week of growth, and there will be a short florakleen flush as ppms never went above 1000ppm on this grow. Day 72 - Ripening Day 6 a. consuming 4L a day of nutrient solution b. her flowers are still growing! The resin is so much on the leaves and buds c. the remaining white pistils are maturing... trichomes are very milky. Day 73 - Ripening Day 7 a. buds are still growing, every day is noticeable growth, she drinks 3.5-5L a day b. pistils are all turning, very few white pistils left Day 74 - Ripening Day 8 a. the flowers are smelling very strong, pine, blueberry and diesel fuel b. she is wrapping up nicely Day 75 - Ripening Day 9 a. performed defoliation, removed 50+ large fan leafs, there is resin all over the stems, will use for ice hash b. the buds are still growing, the smell becomes too strong for the carbon filter overnight Day 76 - Ripening Day 10 a. adding only Spring water to the DWC right now, keeping ppms below 800, preparing for the flush b. buds are becoming very frosty c. the fan leafs have started to fade nicely d. I am seeing the first glimpses of amber trichomes, mostly milky white throughout e. all pistils have turned red and orange Day 77 - Ripening Day 11 a. the trichomes are mostly milky white with a few ambers showing here and there b. added 5L of spring water to help the flush c. will change to FloraKleen tomorrow, and harvest in a day or two. d. constantly removing faded fan leafs, they are becoming easier to snap off the stem, the plant is entering the harvest window.
