Week 7 of Veg for these beautiful Apple Betty ladies! It was a stressful week for the girls but they made it❤️ Day 44 - I decided the girls had outgrown their 2 gallon nursery pots and were ready to move on. After a quick cleanup of the stems close to the base, they were ready to go. I like to keep my soil in a Rubbermaid bin, either with a fan lightly blowing, or the exhaust line from my tent blowing at it. Since I started doing this, I have not had any gnats or pests in my grows, of course with regular cleanings and IPM…my mix is Promix HP with about 20% worm castings added to it. This time around, I decided to use some Dynomyco to increase the mycorrhiza count of my Promix HP. This will increase root development by adding all kinds of interconnected webbing and allow for better uptake of nutrients overall. Within an hour or so all of the ladies were transplanted ❤️ x2 in 7 gallon fabric pots, and 1 in a 5 gallon fabric pot ( the 5 gallon will finish in my 2x4 tent) Once the girls bounce back and take hold of their new forever pot, I will be setting up my custom “floating” SCROG net and allowing them some time to get bent and tucked all nice snug before I flip to a flower schedule. Week 11 All is under control: plants are growing correctly, healthy, deep green… perfect size, a few weeks before flowering cycle; I did a second topping week 10 on everyone (+6 nodes): I would have a maximum size around 150 cm for discretion and space. Still Aphids problem on the Royal Moby and I treated leaves by hand with Soap…making a mistake: too late in the morning so the sun burned some leaves. This insects are still there but the infestation is contained for the moment. I sprayed Neem oil on all plants. Added more soil in each pot : 1.5/2L of humus worm + guano bat. I observed a sort of burn on lhe extremity of leaves: possibly a sign of nitrogen excess. I stopped nutrients for a while, adding just enzyme and Alga Mic. Watering around 1.25L/2 days Daylight 15h30 - 6h25/21h55 Sunny days, cloudy sometimes, windy (NNE) T°= 13ºC N / 21°C D Humidity 67%

Week 10: This will be the final update before Harvest: I will update post harvest after the dry and weigh. Day 64-66: Decided I would continue feeding them until I harvest since they could go 7 days longer. Albeit with a half dose of Calmg and Boost(micro). All White Cracks seem to be doing good. I realized a few days ago the outer plants underneath the blurple LEDs seemed to be showing slight signs of light stress(the leaves were bending away from the light instead of toward it). I lowered the Blurples a few days earlier so I raised them back up. These are some FROSTY plants... Day 67-70: Going good, plants under the blurples responded postively to raising the lights. Seems I was wrong last week about these smelling stronger than the 4AM, it's actually the other way around lmao. But these are still some great smelling plants! Can't wait to dry and weigh that thicc double bud and main cola from WC#1! Hope it's not too airy, they look like pretty dense buds! Really bummed that I have to harvest this weekend, I would have liked to let #2 and #3 go for another week, but it's all good! Next time! Still this will probably the dankest shit I've smoked in a very long time 😂😎 #1 is probably the most mature at this point with about 90% cloudy and a 5-10% amber. #2 and #3 are the same with about 70-80% cloudy and a few amber. This has been an awesome learning experience and I'm already thinking about ways to improve my next grow! These White Cracks have been quite resistant to my newbiness! Awesome plants to grow! Much easier to hanlde than the 4AM!

2020-08-11 Another week gone by... Plant 01 is still fattening up, drinking normally. Plant 02 has been completely choked out of the lights so it's not doing very well. Keeping the nutrients the same as they are both pretty steadily drinking. Some death amongst the lower leaves on plant 02 and the buds are getting trichomes but not getting very fat. Plant 01 is very dense and sticky af. Excited to harvest in a couple weeks! The tent is definitely ugly as hell and the vegetative state clearly went on for about 2 weeks too long (first time grower) while I messed up the nutrients and other things that caused them to grow slowly. The 2nd plant never really recovered. I have continued defoliating and super-cropping plant 01 away from the light and keeping the distances even... It's an ugly canopy, can't wait for the next one so I can get it right!!

Melon Gum has been loosingva lot of leaves. I think something is effecting the roots. I did a solution change and rinsed the roots in a H2O and water mix. 🤞🏻it helps resolve the issue enough to get to the finish. 51 Days in flower have passed. This week i got myself an upgrade, new light the FC-E3000 and a 120x60 grow tent so i can grow some bigger and better medicine. I love the specs on the light, the price was right and so i have high expectations from looking at other peoples reviews of the light. We will see if im able to hit the jackpot with this! 🤠 The girls are looking great! Cheese left, Gorilla Girl right. the pictures and videos are self explanatory, its looking awesome!!! If you ever wondered where i stashed the Runtz and Bruce Banner; i took them out of the grow tent and just put them in the corner of my house without light only surviving off the light in the shadow from the sun, they have been neglected for a while but they still went on super strong, they started flowering 3 weeks ago so i had to put them into reveg so they look a little odd now but its all good. it was either that or i would have to throw them in the trash, and im not gonna waste some nice strains like that. Im impressed how they have survived with almost no light and water. ---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.--- They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water. If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT! Happy growing. 😎

She was a pleasure to cut. Beautiful trim. So far pure berries and gas. I'll update on the smoke report once she's cured. I had a mini toke sesh earlier and it was definitely LSD. Definitely turning on some different visual/auditory receptors. It was nice and long and happy. She's only going to continue to get better. The buds are kind of fluffy but I find that all the purples I've grown turn out like that. The greens tend to produce much more weight/density. I'm not one to harp on density. I'm more about the flavor/effect.

Fractal week 18 & 19. 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring the ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. To the well water I added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g (I'll be switching to the "Bloom" next feed), Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g to end up with a total 850ppm nutrient solution. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC, I ph'd the solution to 6.0 @ 74℉. 12/1- Today after doing some HST (twisting and bending branches), I went ahead and watered/fed her with 0.25g of well water with a base ppm of 100 that I allowed the excess to drain to waste. To the well water I added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Bloom 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g each, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g to end up with a total 900ppm nutrient solution. So after finding litteral balls no bananas the plant isn't doing much anymore, not stretching at all, just flowering. I had some issues this grow but the perfomance should still be better, the plant is also not "Red" Gorilla Girl, bummed about that as well. Values are average of the day. Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.
