Heute ist ein aufregender Tag im Zelt! Meine beiden Hybriden Brain Damage und High Mars scheinen sich unter den Mars Hydro FC 1500 Lampen pudelwohl zu fühlen. Die Blätter sind sattgrün und kräftig, ein Zeichen für die optimale Nährstoffversorgung durch das Hesi Hydro Zuchtschema. Der pH-Wert liegt bei perfekten 6,2 und der EC-Wert bei 1,7. Die Temperatur im Zelt ist mit 25 Grad etwas höher als ideal, aber die Klimaanlage läuft auf Hochtouren, um sie zu senken. Auch die Luftfeuchtigkeit von 65 % ist noch etwas zu hoch, aber der Luftentfeuchter ist bereits aktiv. Die beiden Ventilatoren sorgen für eine gute Luftzirkulation im Zelt. Heute Abend wird es dann noch mal spannend, wenn der Chiller für die Wassertemperatur eintrifft. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich die beiden Damen in den nächsten Tagen entwickeln werden!

Got the Spider Farmer wicking system set up with a reservoir. Up until now I’ve been using purchased pure water since it came with a better starting pH than my tap. After running the numbers, the cost of hauling jugs didn’t make sense long term. I ended up grabbing an RV water inline filter for the garden hose, which strips out most of the chlorine and other contaminants I was worried about. Goal was mostly a stable water source because the girls are getting thirsty; I still prefer hand-watering to wet and activate the top dress. Access is only from one side of the 5×5, so as they bulk up I’m learning the back two are a chore to reach. The wicking pads help keep things even between rounds, but I’m still going in by hand to finish the job. Did a defoliation pass; airflow and light paths improved, but I may need to push it a bit further because I don’t want a lot of larf. Crazy how much plant material I pulled off but they seem fine. Light feels like the current yield limiter. The SF4000 is solid but a touch undersized for full 5×5 penetration, the lower canopy isn’t getting what I want. I’m eyeing a higher-wattage bar style light for better edge uniformity and deeper PAR at canopy. I’ve been testing edge light saturation with the SpiderF PPFD sensor at canopy height. Center readings are strong but the corners and long edges are clearly lacking. Smaller tent or smaller plants another option maybe. Im at 100% on my light and will be for the rest of the grow just raising it to keep distance. Plants look happy overall. The Durban Cookies is standing out, taller and more vigorous than the 10th Planets especially for being a week younger than the rest. I am guessing it will be harvested first just by stretch speed alone. The 10th Planets R1s all have a pretty even canopy going but showing stretch. Wicking system + hand-water combo is keeping the media right where I want it, and the top dress from last week is kicking in. Reminding everyone this is my first grow. Hoping for a pound dry, but I won’t be greedy. Keeping my expectations realistic! Thanks for following along.

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * These came out pretty good, #1 was a lanky bitch and leans heavily toward my Ciroc cut but has these sweet lookin pink tips. I feel like the buds could have filled out a little more but maybe I will run it back and if they do fill out I will hit it with the MC2 pollen and make some fems. #2 is the mutant and is ridiculously frosty, usually when I have a runt it comes out decent at best but this one outdid itself. The buds actually came into shape pretty nicely, they are a little slim but the frost is insane. Some of the photos of #2 might look like I didn't take them compared to my usual photography style and that's because my girl took them, she is a little more artistic than I am but it was her first time using the new camera so some are slightly out of focus because the ISO was too low and there was a little camera shake. Hi all just finished another week having trouble with humidity since fan went marshydro said they out of stock but will send me a new one the minute they have it in which is a month haha 😄 all be harvest by then hopefully god help neighbours that's all I can say haha bought a new dehumidifier off amazon a shit cheap one not even making a difference at all haha so today splashed out a 100 euro for one so hopefully that'll do the job. other than all looking good I think. But actually if someone could tell me will I defoliate more leaves she very bush bit I'm afraid of disturbing flower so im leaf tucking but she is very bushy haha. also im looking at other diarys on this and my plants buds not as big or as far along as many im on 9 weeks on the dot at the moment if anyone with more knowledge please let me know. This girl has been one of my favorites. Pineapple express is true to it name looking like a pineapple once it fades the yellow, and the green are very beautiful together smells gassy with pineapple busting out of every tone

They started flowering gave them Chicken Manure a few days earlier when I noticed it, in the 3rd week if flower i'm going to give them rabbit manure and make a flowering tea for them 😁we will see how it goes also might get a PK Booster 🤔

Flowering week 9 report: -------------------------------- Okay guys i am on the final stretch! I have carefully examined pistils and noticed that all of the plants have more than 70% darkened and curled pistils. Also, i did some microscope check on the trichomes are they are all milk and cloudy. This week i will administer nutrients for the last time, then i will do 5-7 days flush with plain ph-ed water. That being said, i guess i will be harvesting these beauties in no more than 10 days from now on. During the day the HPS and the strong ventilation are drying the air good enough, and during the night i turn on dehumidifier, so the RH stays low 24/7.
