8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. STOPPED AFTER GETTING MY TIRES PUT ON AND DAD SAID THE LITTLE PLANT IN THE 5 GAL BUCKET IS DROOPING. I WENT BACK AND OF COURSE IT WAS. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. I defoliated what needed it and combed through the plants hunting pillars. I GUESS I FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS OR IT DIDNT SAVE. I BOUGHT A WATERING CAN THAT HOLDS A GALLON AND A HALF AND EMPRIED VERY QUICKLY IN SMALL STREAMS SO IT DOESNT HURT THE ROOTS. GREAT INVESTMENT. COULDNT GET OVER UNTIL 2 AND I GAVE EVERYTHING A GALLON AND A HALF. EXCEPT FOR THE ONE IN THE 10 TJAT GOT A GALLON AND THE TWO PLANTS IN THE MIDDLE THAT GOT A GALLON. This girl is coming on really nicely starting to see a bit more to her now. I have up’d the big bud nutrients this week so hopefully it “puts the big in your buds” increasing both their size and quality It has been about two weeks now since I nearly snapped a branch clean off. I strapped and propped the snapped branch to the main stem as soon as it happened but when I checked on it the next day the strap had slip. I did worry as I wasn’t sure how long it had been apart but I re-strapped it and hoped for the best. So far the branch still looks healthy and I haven’t noticed any issues with it at all. The branch looks as if it’s healing really well so hopefully she pulls through. Happy Growing 🌱

So, with these interesting times and what is becoming a fast evolving global catastrophe. I, myself, along with the rest of you ( I hope ) can take some solace in looking after our gardens, to have some peace away from the news, to give our ladies the best care we are able to provide 🌱 If you ever needed any vindication or validation as to why growing your own is best. More than half the world currently in lockdown, and with MJ in short supply, our actions speak for themselves! Anyway, back to this diary. I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. I have opted to go with Royal Gorilla this cycle, let’s see if it’s as potent as RQS says that it is! Good luck all and take care...

the photos are all of NL#1 because that plant has all of the attention. it got transplanted, i know "dont transplant an auto".. kill me for it. anyway.. that was a HORRIBLE!!!! Experience and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND not doing this if you have no clue what you are doing. I almost lost a Plant... why was i transplanting in the first place? well first of all as a new grower what did i do? I over Fed the plants 😆.. and they were not happy. i tried flushing but that made it worse so i needed to add new soil to hopefully dilute some of the nutes. The transplant from a 5 gallon bucket was not and will never be a task for one person to do alone. some roots got ripped she got banged around a but then the entire plant went droopy and it was like hell trying to get it to stand again. NL#2 is doing okay just a flush and it is doing fine i hope.

In the past week the buds have bulked up a lot. Almost doubled in size. Everything is moving along smoothly and I’m excited to see what happens. I’m hoping they keep bulking up they way they have been. Should be about time to flush.

06.08. Tag 60 Die kleinen machen sich gut und die Blüten schwellen an. Der Duft ist einmalig. Die Tangie riecht so fruchtig süß. Ich bin gespannt wie sie schmecken wird. Drei Pflanzen habe ich aktuell super im Griff, eine mangelt etwas und verbraucht aktuell viel mehr als sie bekommt. Man erkennt es ganz leicht an der unterschiedlichen Blattfarbe. Bei dieser werde ich die Dosis etwas erhöhen ehe es Richtung Endspurt geht. Am Wochenende habe ich endlich meinen mittlerweile 13 Jahre alten PrimaKlima Lüfter ausrangiert und bin auf die 6“ Variante von AC Infinity umgestiegen. Ich bin begeistert. Gegossen wird aktuell mit 2,5L Osmose Wasser. Zzgl. calmag (1ml/1L) und canna bioflores (4ml/1L). Calmag bei jedem giesen und bioflores bei jedem zweiten giesen. Alle zwei Wochen kommt noch bio enhancer (1g/1L) von greenhouse dazu. ———————————————-

Muy buenas, otra semana más por aquí, (bueno no hace tanto que subí la anterior semana😅) pero sí, su ultima semana; 😢😋 Tuvimos un problema a última hora, una Super OG Kush fue infectada por la araña roja, como se conoce comúnmente, pero que en realidad es un ácaro que se alimentan de plantas que se suelen encontrar en ambientes secos, en la zona que hábito (hemisferio norte), hubo muchos días de verano en plena primavera😓, debido a eso, llegó la plaga. Para el próximos cultivo de indoor, que será en septiembre, ya que en verano, si sistema de climatización, no se puede cultivar en óptimas condiciones. Esta Super Og Kush fue sacada del armario, y revisamos todas las plantas, por suerte la plaga, sólo atacó a esa planta. Y fue cosechada dos días antes que las demás, Dicho esto, muy contento con el resultado, agradecer a la familia de Kannabia y a Mills Nutrients, por haber colaborado conmigo. Pronto subiremos la review de cada una de las genéticas. Plant shows signs of flowering. Smell is also being perceived although is weak. Plants were fed with Arber plant food. The winds seem like finally calming down.
