Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! It's mid-eighth week from the nut plant. About 7-10 days ago, I switched to 12/12 (end of week 6). Sour Blues is very compact, 27 cm tall. A paradise for engravers with compact spaces. In the week since switching, the 12/12 has grown in size, but hasn't tripled in height. I had a mamba plant nearby, and it's grown significantly - 48 cm. Both plants are in the same box from the nut plant; it's interesting to see and compare. At first, I thought it was the small bag (2 liters), but another experiment disproved that assumption. The thing is, I simultaneously planted another IZI seed in a plastic basket with 1.5 liters of coconut for hydroponics on HESI compote. I'm also comparing it with the same variety, but on DWC. The height is the same - 27 cm. But the width: the DWC took up almost the entire 40 x 40 cm box. The sprout in the bag is a 20 x 20 cm square. Both plants are in separate boxes, under the same 40W LED lamp. It looks like I'll be returning to the DWC soon. Now, on the DWC, it drinks exactly one liter per day at 15 liters. The clones have taken root and are now growing without a greenhouse. The fastest one took root within a week, and the others took two or three weeks to take root.

What a great week it’s been!today is day 65 from seed!! One of the Forbiddin Runtz got it’s last feeding on Friday and will get flushed for 2 weeks and will be ready for dry and cure! The rest will still remain getting same dose of nutes the rest of this week and most likely into the next! This batch felt like it went so quick ! Hope you all enjoy an watch out for next week !

They get topped again day 42, going to try and leave top two nodes per top instead of just 1, so each will go from 2-8 instead of 2-4, if they underdevelop I'll trim them off later. I think they'll be just fine though, saving any branches that reach out from primaries and lowers to make some.nice clones, so don't cut those yet, we will cut clones when we strip for flower.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... The humidity is still a concern as these girls continue to stack. I increased water today to about a gallon every three days, which I'm sure will drive the humidity numbers up. I really need to invest in an auto-watering system, lol. So far, I'm happy with these testers. They have been a non-demanding grow with zero problems, so far.

So far, so good. And now in the 5th week, all Sweet Seeds started flowering. However, Madame Jealousy is far from having enough of growth. One of my favorite features to observe in her: She takes her time. So far all phenotypes from the strain have been like this. As a result, it already feeds itself stably into the starting blocks. Makes sense.

Rains came. Plants protected as flowering was about to start. Mesh to prevent moths from laying eggs. They are a big problem were I live and I amb not a big fan of foliar spray during flowering as we live in a very humid area. Some defoliation was done.

Sry, Osterzeit Geburtstag und Co haben zeitlich ihren Tribut gekostet aber jetzt schon mal der deutsche Part für den Rest der Vegetation unserer schönen Ladys 😊 Tag 43: nichts besonderes heute zu tun für die Ladys einfach mal chillen unter ihrer Sonne 🌞 Tag 44: heute gab es den Blütedünger von Green House Feeding(GHF Bloom Bio line) und zwar 76g/Topf als Topdressing. Zum Angießen gab je 2l Wasser mit ph 6.3 und 1g/l Enhancer und ein paar größere Blätter noch rausgenommen, aber nicht viele. Nur genug um den kleineren Nachzüglern der Triebe noch eine Chance gibt hoch zu wachsen. Tag 45:weil es gestern spät wurde heute nochmal 1l ph 6.2 Wasser mit 1ml Calmag gegossen und die Ladys saufen wie blöde 😊 Tag 46: die basen funzen nicht weil der Boden der Töpfe komplett trocken war, dummer Anfängerfehler, ist aber auch das erste Mal dass ich sie nutze, also Töpfe in 2l von unten in ne Wanne angewässert und dann wieder auf die basen zurück 😊 Tag 47: 1l Ph 6.2 Wasser mit 1ml/l Calmag von oben um den Dünger weiter ins Substrat zu spülen. Tag 48: sämtliche Erdhaken entfernt, you are free now Girls Tag 49: Lichtstärke nochmal um gut 100 ppfd erhöht Ende Vegetationswoche 5

Light were shutting off at 12:00AM, I couldn't do consistent foliar spray at night (was in bed) Shifted to 10:30PM OFF, 4:30AM ON It was 12:00AM OFF and 6:00AM ON Plants are a vibrant green, thick strong main stem 5L Grow bags have arrived in the mail finally Nov 26, 2022 Watered and fed Tommy and Danny 1tbsp per 1L of water Both plants were bone dry 2 inches down

Las Cream Caramel siguen floreciendo a buen ritmo, pero las California Kush no acaban de empezar a florecer. Le he puesto una maya y le he podado un poco los bajos a ver si eso ayuda. Los platos de las macetas están llenos de raíces, lo que me indica que tienen buena salud. Para ser autoflorecientes las veo un poco tardías.

Without you guys it'd be pretty boring so I appreciate all of your input! She was harvested on Day 58 and left to dry for at least a week. I then gave her a dry trim and thrown the buds in a jar for curing. I put a couple of boveda 62% humidity packs in there too, to keep the moisture level correct. I'll soon be switching to Integra boost packs as they seem to get a better review and are purposely made for cannabis. Because I have 4 seperate plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. Happy growing! 🐺
