To get higher temperatures I placed the growbox near the radiator, dimmer still at 25%, boiled tap water also this week, this guaranteed me an ideal for the beginning, from now on I will use mountain water which will allow me to use less fertilizer.

Originally the right plant was stunted and I was concerned that topping it would stress it too much. As such, the left plant was topped during early veg but the right plant was never topped and it shows. The main cola on the right plant gets more ppfd (around 1000) than the left plant so I’ve been bending it down once or twice a day so that maybe the left canopy can catch up. Are there any other techniques I can do to my plant (2nd week of flower) to allow the canopies for each plant to be equal? Last week I did a very light dose of bloom and they responded very well. I will continue to supplement lightly until the sohum soil prepackaged nutrients run out. I would imagine it will be any week now that it’s depleted? I am very happy with the grow so far since it’s my first ever real attempt. Other than the right plant getting shocked from the living soul or overwatering the grow has been going great! I can see baby buds and pistils forming! 😀 So excited for the day I can open the tent and get bombarded by the smell of the buds.

The Bubble OG plants are doing really well. It's crazy because they all started out looking so similar, but now they're totally different. I tried that new training technique on them, but I think I went a little too far. The leaves look a bit fried, so I'll have to be more careful. The new year is off to a frosty start! We've had snow falling for what feels like forever. My kids are loving it, of course. They're building forts, having snowball fights, and turning everything into a winter wonderland. It's been a lot of fun to watch them enjoy it. All this snow is really making me think about how quickly time flies. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the holidays, and now here we are knee-deep in winter. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, but for now, I'm enjoying the quiet beauty of fresh snow.

Hi all , here we are for another fun run with a some of Fast Buds most delicious looking ladies to harvest. With each strain having it's own amazing appearance and buds , i am hoping to spoil them like a rich kid at the seaside with this new FC3000 provided by the generous sponsors at Mars Hydro. Thanks Susie. It is a 300w draw with a full spectrum of gloriousblumens to develop and create some hard , chunky and downright delectable buds. Easy to set up with a removable driver too. Very handy of the heat builds up and we need to reduce it somehow. There is more than enough extension chord(2m) to re hang the driver out of the growing area. It has a dimmer to allow it to offer seed to harvest capabilities all in one unit. No need for separate lights for each stage of the grow. The unit size is more than big enough to cover the 6 plants and the 100L x2 beds that they are going to be grown in. It is nice and light too so no worries about the hangers being stressed. It came with a hanging kit too so nothing to stop you getting it on out of the box. At 100% it really kicks some light out and has even worried the more than capable sp3000 sat next to it. A beautiful piece of kit that will no doubt be a good as it looks too. Having had a few issues with germination over the summer and totally failing seeds , I went back to plugs. They hold the perfect amount of moisture and dont fall apart when lifted either. Again they proved excellent with 100% success of these genetically brilliant seeds . Seeing them poking their heads up on 2 already only only day 3 was a pleasant surprise as i have had these in waiting a while now. No soaking the seed just straight into the cube from the packet.. Now fully germinated with no helmets for the unwary seedling either. ( can occur using cubes for.me!) We are officially in veg I think!. 7th Oct veg started...... I hope you will join me on this run to see what this light unit can do with 6 genetic wonders and 200L of well composted living soil/coco in newly set up No-till beds. I have been trying to use the living organic soil but find that in mid to late flower , I had to supplement to keep the hungry girls green and mean which i feel was due to only 60L of soil to work in effectively. With 3 plants sharing the 100L i am hoping they communicate via the root system and keep each other happy and healthy. I do intend to add some wrigglers and also some myco and a cover crop too. (Inspired by UKPersonal420 ). The ladies are domed and comfortable ar present and I am hoping to remove the domes in a day or 2 but temps here have dropped a fair bit so I will have to be mindful of the delicate girls getting too cold . Plan is to train them into the light with as many mains as I can manipulate using l.s.t , supercropping , topping or maybe a f.i.m or 2. So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! She actually grew ANOTHER 31cm this week! She is totally out of headroom now, her top cola will be above the lights in a couple of days 😂 Fastbuds do say it can reach 1.4M... 😁 She is also looking quite bushy, I'm guessing this is a result of the earlier FIMing/topping on multiple sites. This may also have lengthened her veg time, but that's ok. I like to grow monsters 😁 😜 Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. Flowering nice. Madarin Cookies are two in back and one in center Silver Kush are two up front. I ran out of room for scrogging branches in back, letting them just strech. Unfortunately that has me keeping the light higher than Id like. Since S.K. are shorter, the one at right side is 30" from light, while stretched branches in back are 12" from light. Averaging 18" overall from lights.... Hope i dont get light bleaching! UPDATE: Added 2nd screen on Day2 to keep stretchy branches lower Cookies are flowering nice, one of the silver kush is just starting to flower while the other hasn't started yet.... hmmm 2-3 gallons water/nutes per 5 plants, alternating with plain water (just calmag, malassis, Ph. 6.4) every other day. Ph.6.4

Another week closer..... Well another week down, the girls are doing there job and pushing out like crazy, the room is smelling great, and a couple of them are beyond frosty... No problems this week, besides finding a banana on one of my girls, I've noticed it happens sometimes when pushing them. I've pulled it out and checked the rest of the plant its good....and at this point it doesn't bother me, to late in the budding cycle to harm the plants...... The girls are starting to come to an end and going through there changes in bud structure and in leaf change, there smelling great and getting frosty. ..Nothing else to report.
