Day36, 37, 38: Seems to be growing a set of leaves per day now. Super growth! Stretching to the top. Day39: I had a hiccup with the camera. For some reason it stopped responding at 04:30 in the morning. I only realized it much later. I still don't really know why, but reseating the data ribbon fixed the issue. Day40: After fixing the camera, I decided to take this view again. The Lady is starting to show some nice growth and this view will show it best. If you look carefully, you'll see that her branches are not green, but rather reddish. Definitely related to genetics :) Everything else is within limits. Plus, the leaves look super healthy. Day41: Here you can see the stem colour better.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Hi liebe Community! 💚 In den letzten fünf Wochen hat sich die Pflanze schön weiterentwickelt. Der Wuchs ist sehr kräftig und allmählich bekomme ich eine homogene Wachstumsstruktur hin. Die Triebe bekommen langsam ihre relative angepasste höhe und ich denke in der kommenden Woche wird die Blüte eingeleitet. Außerdem habe ich nun nochmal die Sonnensegel zurückgeschnitten, damit die Pflanze ihre kompaktere Wuchsform beibehält. The plant is growing strong. I have to change the wires in order to follow the plant growing. Seems quite hard because there is no soil to attach hooks. So i am thinking to build something that might work better for main lining on hydroponics.

Lots of fattening up this week. This girl is looking fat for such a small plant. Gonna ease up on nutes this next week, and hopefully there'll be a harvest next week!!! Issues with the leaves seems to have stopped after adjusting pH and adding some calmag.

Flowering day 22 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Another great week that is over. They all develop exactly as it should be 💚. Since the last leaf and substrate application against tripse, I finally haven't seen any of the little biters 👍. Watering was done twice this week with 1.3 l each time (see table above for nutrients). The lowest shoots were removed so that the energy is not wasted in the lower part :-) . Otherwise, as always, everything was cleaned and checked. Fresh osmosis water was filled with stale tap water in a 100 L tank for the coming week 👍. Day 16-27/12/21 all looking good!!!! Day 20-31/12/21 still haven’t got space in other tent yet so hopefully can move half of them out this one next week!!!!

Got everything hung up. Stripped the fan leaves and broke down into sections. Run 60/60 or as close as i can get until the stems snap.

2-3 weeks left of flowering. Buds are starting to bulge out on the sides and are very dense. Only been getting a pine scent up until now, slightly skunky sweet smell starting to come through as well.

Today the plant was given ice for shock because I will harvest in 48 hours.

Pheno 1 has a more bushy appearance and Pheno 2 is lighter in color and more bud swelling at the tops. Expect to see some nice colors come out in #2😃 In the end......it’s about the smoke😂👍🔥 Bud Fusion being introduced this week. Into the last phase of feeding during flower now. Nitrogen is continued to be reduced as its late flower. Keeping up the feeding ppm this week as we are getting to the end. May be pushing them a little more than I should but finding out how they react for next run. Still continuing to play with the light intensity and seeing how the girls react to my environment conditions when pushed harder. Could have backed off and stayed with 100, 300, 600, 900 PAR levels at the different stages but I have trying to go a little higher in the late stages and going over 1,000 PAR. Little more detail…..
