Week 8 - Oct 26 to Nov 2nd Smooth week! A bit of a late November heat wave brought my room up to near summer temperatures 😵 Crisped the tips a bit with the heat and upping the nutes. This advanced nutes stuff is very salty for a soil grow and even the small amounts reported above, split between the 4 plants, still end up getting to the fan leaves. Using Molasses and plain water feeds between nute feeds this stuff is still very touchy. The more I type about it, the more I realize it wasn't that smooth 😂 Still the best base/biggest four plants I've had and the Chem-Bomb Autos are way fatter bud wise compared to the Chocolate Mint Og Autos but they were a little ahead in development even though they all germinated in the same week. Did some defoliation at 20. april for more exposed light. Watering 3L every 2-3 day ish. A lot of new growth.. So excited for the next weeks!

Nothing has realy happened since I cropped the royal cream....It is just hanging. Decided to do a dry trim so that it takes longer to dry due to the fact I am having to just use my cupboard so the humidity is pretty low. Leaving the leaves on just means It takes longer to dry. I am going to crop the Easy Bud in the next few days when the mood takes me. I had 4 left over R. Cream seeds left over because I informed them that. bought 2x 3 packs and only 2 seeds germinated so they sent me another packet which is REALLY good of them and the sort of thing that means I would definitely use Royal Queen Seeds again, for sure! The trich's are basically all cloudy with a few clear. I cant see any amber but my loupe is a ridiculously cheap Chinese piece of crap. I will invest in a microscope camera so I can hook it up to my phone or MacBook. It is way too hard to keep everything steady In order to see what is popping with my sexy trichomes. Obviously feeding has stopped for about a week now. I forgot to change it In the diary last week so will try and correct that now.. I know it is not strictly relevant but I had to go somewhere earlier and took a video because I was able o walk in the middle of a main road in my town which Is usually packed full of cars, especially at the time I was walking on it. It is a time that makes me even more glad I grow my own. I really need to buy the bigger tent, lights and re-locate to the bigger, more subtle cupboard (not the one i am using to dry my weed in the video I posted) and then I will be able to effectively ScrOG the 2 or 3 plants I have, in order to maximise yield so I can be totally self sufficient with regards to my cannabis medicine. UPDATE - MONDAY I just realised I have made a proper idiots mistake an missed out on some much tastier buds because of it. OK, so I got paid today, so I though I would treat myself to some of them cheap COB chips I used for my last grow because hey were super cheap and actually really effective considering the price. I ordered 2x 100w 6000k veg spectrum chips with a solderless connection for my power. I also ordered one of these heatsink + reflector. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MT824NP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My thinking was that I have a spare heatsink here that the old citizen CLU-048 is attached to so I was going to fit one of the chips into that and the other into the heatsink and fan I bought. This hought process lead me to go ad retrieve the old citizen LED and I thought I would try it. Still didn't work, then suddenly I thought it could be a simple blown fuse so I changed it aaaannnnd.....still doesn't work. doh! I started to remove the COB holder and COB from the heatsink (it was just glued to it using thermal compound) and when I laid it on the table I decided to test the driver without the COB holder on the tiny off chance it might work...nope I then realised maybe I got the + and - the wrong way round, tried again and boom works perfectly. The connection from the holder to the cob had bent slightly off contact. Really annoying that this whole time I could have doubled my photons to the plant, however, really nice that I don't have to spend a load more money on lighting in order to upgrade into the new room. So all I have to do now is spend money on a pre-drilled heatsink and a new metal COB holder for the citizen.

This strain was a breeze to grow. The purple phenotype is hands down some of the best herb I have ever tried. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to grow a highly resilient, highly potent strain. Thank you to all those on this platform. day22 video. now adding more pk booster than earlier weeks, should be done week 7-8 we will see day23 I start adding more pk, still will 4x more pk now. Some nice pics today, videos of each, frost on fan leafs, no issues other than pros: bridal frost on fan leafs+sugar, cons 6ft tall. I think I should have pumped more pk earlier into flower/pre Its cool. Adding 2tbsp soluble pk into 5gal vs quarter tbsp in beginning 22 days ago. I am feeding soluble pk, +3 pk soil conditioners and carbs every day. There is no water day. day 25 stacking up. been spraying old cs I made 3ish years ago to test, works on unrooted so I may potential cross. Bridal starting to smell like a mix between fresh watermelon, and lemon+lime or a citrus aroma.

2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one is budding up nicely, but the taller one is still stretching. The short one looks to be considerably more indica than the other. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

Hello Growers & Tokers! Rooooots. Don't forget about them! At the beginning of the week they all got transplanted into their final pots, 11L fabric pots. Medium is Light Mix from BioBizz. Synergy from Grotek nutrients was blended in the medium to help out the roots. Let hat mycorrhizae do it's thing. This was the girls last week! I decided to call them finished on day 63 the tricomes are almost all cloudy, with a small amount of amber. I’ve learned that they continue to degrade as you dry and cure your flower, so I’m trying something new for me, and pull them a little earlier than I usually would. In addition, after watching a podcast (Dude Grows Show) if you don’t know, check it out… I decided to run the lights for 18 hours instead of 12/12 for the last 5 days before harvest. The idea behind this, is to stress the plant enough to increase its natural sunblock/protections, which would be terpenes and tricomes just before you harvest, while also possibly quickening the finishing time for your plant. The group was discussing the benefits of this (listed above) while some already had implemented these practices when finishing plants. The recommended time to run extra light time would be around the last 5-9 days of the plant, without having any nanners or weirdness happening with your plants. Anyways, they finished amazing, sticky, stinky and heavy ❤️ the Terps are crazy on these strains….Harvest details to come. Thanks for stopping by 💚🇨🇦👊

DAY 21 FLOWERING: Well it had to happen eventually!!! . I knew it would come to this point.....I had to be brutal and practical as I evicted the Gorilla cookies and the mutant Northern light to a different space... I now have the #1 Northern lights and the Grandaddys Mimosa directly under the XS1500 to really develop them both to the best I can. The light has done a great job developing all 5 to this point and I do think it could have finished them all at a push but , I think seeing how it can grow 2 auto plants in a 2x2 space will be worth the change of plan. I am impressed with this little light and never expected such a growth rate . I really would love to test their new p4000 to see what that beast can do. The northern lights has really worked hard this week on her bud structuring , she looks like she will be stacking her colas on each limb , just the way we like em in the space I have. I did take a little more weak lower growth out of her to focus on the stronger mains as we have hit the point of no more defol . She wont regrow leaf after this point now so the ones remaining will be all she has to power the photosynthesis during flowering. Sugar leaves do not do the same work as the fan leaves and with them being autos , I feel we need the extra boost more than in a photoperiod run. She looks like stretch has finished now too so her size is nice and stocky so she wont need to transfer nutes too far from the roots either. Grandaddys mimosa is also really developing some nice looking golf ball buds all over. She looks like she will be a long cola girl too which is perfect to keep the canopy and light distribution as even as possible with the Northern lights too. She smells a little fruity already and the hint of her Mimosa lemon father is also really evident. So far so good . The 2 Gorilla cookies and the other northern lights are all looking great after being grown under this light and I will include their harvest data in the diary at the end to avoid the diary going haywire. All in all this is going great now and continues to impress me with the capability of this unit. Come on #viparspectra , send me a p4000. Lol Be safe and well growmies.
