First ever grow was going well, using 2 x 400/600w hps depending on heat in a 1.2x2.4m tent...
But think one or two have hermied
Had a 5week veg and possible hermie from the heat a while back?
Hi @Ge252! Hard to say without closeup pictures, but I think what you see are just the pre-flower calyxes, each stem has its own single calyx at the bottom of the branch. Do you see a pistil coming through this "green ball" ? If so, you're good to go. If this evolves and turn into bananas, you can gently remove the pollen sacs before they open. The 7 blue gelato 41s are doing ok theyre hermie/pollinated perhaps as the calyxes have swelled but gonna run them the whole way through as an experience for my first grow.
The stems also smell very good like blueberry/ cookie
End of week 6 just started to use final nutes dragon force and sumo boost, gonna use for 7days then flush for 2 weeks
No herms have grown back since plucked!
And buds are starting to fatten up
Very happy with the results, will add the final weight once fully dry, First ever grow came out well despite the hermie early on, no seeds and decent yield. Have been drying for 5 days now chopped them off still a bit wet but weighing 587g don't know how much more it will lose.
