Day 22 - december 26 The hydro goes really fast now we can see the difference in growth vs the soil ppm 500 Ph 6.1 day 23 water change - 730ppm day 25 i cut off the 2 top fanleaves of the hydro and soil plant wich are blocking light on the stems underneath, now both plants have 6 main stems so both plants will have the same structure. nothing needs to be cut from here its just veg a bit longer and wait for flowers. also did LST on all 6 branches each has a string on them with a pencil attached to them to bend the young stems gently as you can see in the final video of this week. day 28: the hydro plant recovered from the too light nute mix new growth is healthy again theres just brown spots on the oldest water leaves. temps are also a bit low when lights turn of (15ceclius) in the res. i put the timer of the light now at 20/24 to keep it 2h warmer.

I kept tucking those branches pretty hard and mad a decent canopy. Though I may have over done It and now my forest is pretty bush. Day 10 of flower, Im gonna defoliate and maybe lollipop a bit in the next few days and then add next layer of trellis to use as support. Started adding Canna Boost. Other than that, I fixed my calmag issue by switching to tap water, but Im not feeding nutrients at full strength since I have pretty hard tap water.

So I am halfway through my first harvest and I'm starting to feel like I may have been impatient! Would appreciate any advice or constructive criticism from any experienced growers out there! Do you think I harvest the rest of my plant now or leave it a while? Any tips/hints on the best way to maximize bud density? Thanks in advance

As December is near the growth is slower than would like but is still thriving with more stretching happening for the side branches and the mini side branches start to stretch as well one side branch I recently topped is recovering at a decent rate hoping for some start of preflowering signs within the week or 2

Chopped today will updates weights and everything else after a week of hanging will trim and weigh then glad to make it to the end looking forward to the next grow. Super happy with this way more then I was expecting from this grow

4/8/21 - I am continuing with watering the plants with just water (ph 6). The plants are doing great, the nutrient burn is still visible but nothing too serious. LST continues this week as well. 4/9/21 - Took the LST clips off of the plants today and did some manual LST. Plants are looking good, the bottom leaves are growing in, some of them died I believe due to the clips blocking off the lights. 4/10/21 - Trying out new LST clips. The plants seem to be doing well, next week we plan on starting the nutrients at half strength. The plants have several new leaves coming in. 4/11/21 - Finally installed the fan (see video). Next week we plan on topping them along with starting nutrients at half strength. 4/12/21 - We will be topping the plants in the next few days. The new LST clips are working great and are a better size than the first ones. Watered with ph 6 water and did some manual LST. 4/13/21 - The plants are doing great! The nutrient burn is pretty much gone. 4/14/21 - The plants are getting big! No water today, the soil is still wet from yesterday. Tomorrow I will be feeding them Fox Farm nutrients on week 2 of their feeding schedule.

Hey guys, Into week 8 and the ladies have bushed out considerably even after last week's defoliation! I will have to plan to defoiliate again this upcoming week! The plants are doing well, I have not watered these plants since Monday of this week and we had 2 large t-storms roll through the past 2 days. I will be holding off watering since they got allot of rain water. This comming week I will be planning to possibly top but mainly to start our 2nd round of amendments. Sticking to same formula of 2tsb per gal of 70/30 ratio 444 to 284. I also found the holy grail of prevent maint for fungus gnats. This stuff I found at my ls call aquabac mosquito larvacide. Works great on gnat larvae. All you need is to use 1-2 tbs in a tea bag and let it soak in water for 24-48hr before watering. Hopfully it will prevent any fg infestation. Received safely from Steve seeds overseas. 1/1 with the sour diesel germination. 36 hours in a glass of water then right to a 1 gallon final pot. This sprouted 1 inch above the soil in 2 days flat!!! The entire first week went very well and I'm excited to grow 1 of my all time favorite strains! Any tips with this auto strain would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Beginning of week.. Ok.. So it seems as if the Phosphorus deficiency has cleared.. But now the runoff pH is coming out 5.5 - 5.4 when it goes in at 6.3 every watering.. And this morning the runoff PPM was a bit high and that's just with plain water.. She needs another plain water before I feed again.. Idk wtf is going on in this rootzone but its really confusing the shit outta me! Ugh! Now I see that the Mandarin Cookies is ALSO showing some purple tipped CALYCES (didnt know THAT is how you spell the plural for calyx!) These are gonna be some dank, gorgeous ladies by harvest! I can't wait!! So I guess I will try to water/feed at 6.5 for a couple waterings.. That makes me nervous tho lol.. They say its "fine".. that it's "ok"... Bullshit.. I always hit some issues if I move out of 6.1 - 6.3.. But the runoff is getting WAY too low if it's at 5.4.. Doing the 6.5 thing should help for a little bit, it did last time.. Not perfect but it helped. Mid week.. ETHOS Cookies is doing great.. No issues.. Runoff is perfect.. Still just needs watering/feeding every other day.. I COULD go everyday with her.. But that's a little too time consuming for me at the moment.. I should have changed the 12/12 cycle from 5 - 5 to 7 - 7 or something.. Blah.. As for the Mandarin Cookies, she was flushed a bit for about 36 hours with no nutrients.. So she is showing some wounds on her leaves.. Looks like mostly calcium def. spotting.. Also I do see some purple/red stripes on her main stalks/stems.. Looks kinda cool tho.. I remember I had an autoflower do that before.. the entire stem went completely RED.. it was beautiful lol... But her flowers and trichomes are still boomin! Just for shits and giggles, I went ahead and checked the trichomes on both ladies.. Mandarin Cookies seems to already be showing alot of milky.. Definitely 0 amber trichomes.. But alot are cloudy. She may be done super quick! Idk.. ETHOS Cookies is still showing mostly clear.. A few milky here and there.. Both smell so amazing! Damn, I really can't wait to have a threesome with the lovely ladies! By the way they both smell already.. It's gonna be fucking orgasmic!

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!
