Weather is getting hotter and hotter every day now and will be for another couple of months, so it's going to be a hot harvest... Temps getting close to 90°F now every day for a couple of hours... Plants seem pretty happy so far, taking the heat, hopefully they won't stress too much over that... Flowers getting FAT, QUICK. Need to get some sticks for support for the taller plant. Im feeding almost nothing this week, mostly just plain water. They did get a worm castings top dressing a week ago, along with some diatomaceous earth, and that should be kicking in about this week... My FoxFarm Trio is almost empty , so i will make it last until the end. Pretty happy with this grow, my best so far, and the easiest too... I do have better gear now though... Specially the dehumidifier.... Now im going into the weeks that always kill me with mold. The difference is, now i have a proper dehumidifier and mold should get under control, so i can really explore the 8th and 9th week in flower... Let's hope it works out well Plants smell and look awesome.

So I thought the plants was going to be a flop but they turned it around, really long time tho for a auto flower, I could of ran photos with a better yield, but never the less these look like 10/10 nugs and smell amazing i can't wait to see how these look dried off.

Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.

Lemon cherry cookies,Cherry cola and Ztrawberriez are all getting closer to harvest.They are still drinking heavy and trichomes are almost all cloudy on the 3.I still have a lot more time left with Strawberry pie,Papaya cookies,and Pound cake which they are all starting to show some maturity.

Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! We’ve also added a timing twist: • Reds & UV start 15 minutes before whites to simulate sunrise. • Reds & UV finish 15 minutes after whites to mimic sunset, creating a more natural light transition. These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. This week marked the start of some serious shaping! Did a round of defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration, especially around the inner canopy. Started tucking the stretchy tops under the net to even out the canopy—Tart Pops is loving the structure and pushing out pistils steadily. Smell is starting to hint at something sweet and tangy — can't wait to see how she bulks up over the next couple weeks. Feeding schedule remains consistent, and the girls are thriving under the LED.
