Week 4 was a very active training week for Apple Gelato. The plant received two topping sessions combined with FIMing to significantly increase the number of main growth tips. In addition, Low Stress Training (LST) was applied to spread the branches horizontally and create an even, open canopy. Despite the intensive training, the plant handled everything extremely well. Recovery was fast, with no visible stress, drooping, or slowed growth. New shoots started developing quickly at all topped and FIMed nodes, showing strong vigor and good genetic stability. LST helped expose lower sites to direct light, improving airflow and setting the foundation for a symmetrical structure. Leaf color remains healthy green, internodal spacing is tight, and overall growth is compact and controlled. This combination of 2× topping + FIMing + LST has clearly prepared the plant for a bushy structure with multiple strong colas going into the next vegetative weeks.

2018-03-13 Week 11 Day 1 As I mentioned last week, the girls are growing like crazy since I changed to 600W HPS,and even though they haven't grown so much higher, they are definetly wider because of LST. My growroom is only about 1.8m2, so now the girls are so wide that there's not enough space for them to get wider, so now I will let them stretch. Nr 1 is 44 cm Nr 2 is 39 cm 2018-03-14 Day 2 I LST'd the girls one last time and also defoliated them mildly so all the tops get as much light as possible, hopefully increasing the yield in the end. I also turn the girls 1/4 lap every day to ensure that all sides of them get as much exposure to light as possible, it would've been great to have some kind of turntable that turns the girls 1 lap in 12 hours,, but until I find out a device that does just that,I'll keep on doing ti manually. Added some videos for you to enjoy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Outdoor plants can easily reach heights of 150-200cm, and yields of 500-600g per plant. The taste of Power Plant XL can be described as a delightful blend of sweet and sour flavours, with subtle hints of pine tree in the background. Smokers who appreciate a very strong and uplifting Sativa high will be more than satisfied with the effects. One will experience feelings of euphoria that are definitely intense and uplifting, typical for a South African Sativa like this. The up-high can also evolve into being more relaxed, especially when larger quantities are being consumed. Some people suspect Power Plant to be grown in large commercial operations around the world. It doesn’t really matter if these assumptions are the truth or myths, but Zambeza’s breeders are very proud to bring this highly productive legend back to live. The updated version of it, Power Plant XL, is the most efficient Dutch "bud factory" money can buy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Started the week with a flush and have been preparing for flower/ recovering from some stress. Trying out the flush to see how good of a response I get to flower nutrient uptake...open for advise. Ive been doing a lot of research and am just doing what seems rite to me as I continue to learn, this is 1st time ever training or applying a feed schedule to a plant I started Foliar Feeding daily this week with Bush Dr Flower Kiss by fox farm and have noticed the plant really liking it. I changed up my Cal mag to advanced nutrients Cal mag Xtra because it seems to have everything my plant was telling me I was missing recently, I like that it replaces the Kelp me Kelp you by fox farm (recommended in the FF nutrient schedule) and gives you slightly stronger doses of cal mag my plant seems to like now.

The plants grew well this week, as did all the clones. Any extra rooted clones have been planted outdoors as a further experiment. We moved all the clones into a Veg room. Even though the large room is not in flower and still also in veg, we had to separate the plants due to lack of space. Also setting up for mother, clones and SOG in the future. The plants were defoliated and training continued. There are 2 weeks of Veg left hoping to have some very large plants for flowering. Aiming for large flowers.

Weekly update for these lovely ladies. They've grown and grown since the last update so much I had to raise the greenhouse. Cinder blocks under the frame gave me an extra 16in. They're growing probably a foot of week and still reaching for the stars. I did switch to Athena's Bloom A & B and P&K booster this week giving 5-10ml per gallon. I really couldn't be happier with how they've grown up to this point. All in all Happy Growing.

Day late on the update, pics/vids were taken on time tho just been a crazy week of harvests and trimming and keeping up with these. I transplanted all of them into 1 gallon bags 4 days ago from today. I linked up with Rain Science Grow Bags on Instagram and got them to offer all my followers and friends a discount of 10% off entire order from their site with the code ' bangdang ' so if anyone is in the market for a pot upgrade use that code. I got them in the mail 3 days after I ordered. Reason I went with Rain Science is because they offer identical air flow for rapid growth as the radicle bags, just using a different material and a tighter knit so water doesnt flood out the sides during feeds and when you pick these up when the coco is dry, it wont fly all over the tent like with the radicles. They're the optimal bag for autoflowers especially. These will get transplanted to the 3 gals before the flip and the flower tent is clearing out now. Just have to do a heavy cleanup and rearrange some shit and in they go.

12/21/25 some of the plants have a really strong dominance for one side of the plant compared to the other. They seem mostly happy and growing healthy. The lower branches have a tendency to grow larger than the tops and have started to crowd the tops a bit so I have used LST to try and let the tops grow a bit more. No feeding recently, just daily water from the auto drip irrigation from vivosun and the worms living in the soil. Check out my YouTube@ AestheticGenetiX Instagram @ Aestheticgenetix2
