Dec 9: They are looking pretty good as far as I can tell, having trouble debating to cut off some fan leaves or not, this is my first ever grow and I don’t want to stress it out any more than it has. The way I trained the plant is definitely suboptimal, next time I will plant the seed off to the side a bit to have room to bend. Also should I just continue with tucking almost everyday or cut the troublesome leaves covering bud sites? And the bottom node, should I skip the chutes? Is it okay to cut things off at this stage of its life? They are definitely still in preflower as there are only presence of the “V” hairs at each budsite, and smell is very weak.

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m incredibly curious to see how the plants react to these changes. Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. This week also included a thorough system clean, ensuring everything runs smoothly as we enter the final flowering stages. 🌿 Bud Development: Pure Magic! The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11. I’m so excited to show you guys week 3. These plants are huge!!! Even though I’m watching them grow right before my eyes I’m still shock as to how big they are. I browsed through other growers diaries that’s growing the same strains as me and I haven’t came across none as big as mines. The plants are responding well to their nutrients and TLC from me. I was planning to scrog this grow but I’m curious to see how big these autos are going to get so I’m going to just let them ride it out. 03/01/2022 You can tell which I put in flower room first, buds developing nicely 🙏🏻 Second one is a week behind but starting to flower have to raise the lights this week.

Day 35 of flower! Isn’t she beautiful! Not much else to say, environments been running perfect the last few weeks with day time temps sitting at 25 c with the rh at a lovely 55% and at night dropping to 21c, beautiful. , no other work has been applied to this girl, nothing but H2o

18/06: Week 5 – early bloom stage confirmed! 🌱➡️🌸 We're entering week 5 with EC 1.6 and pH 5.8. The very first white pistils have emerged, confirming the transition into early flowering. The recent vertical surge was likely boosted by Far-Red and IR spectrum effects, along with enhanced metabolism from the CO₂ generator. From here, the plants will start shifting energy from stretch to flower production. Environmental control (especially RH and VPD) is now crucial to avoid early bloom issues. LST is being finalized as structure sets in. 21/06: We're now at day 31 since germination, and the flowering phase is clearly underway. Based on the canopy photo, the plants are thriving: a lush, uniform green with no signs of nutrient stress. Buds are starting to stack up nicely, and the foliage remains sturdy and intact. EC has been bumped up to 1.8 this week to support early bloom demands — especially for phosphorus and potassium — and the plants are handling it smoothly. No burnt tips or discoloration, indicating stable nutrient uptake. With environmental parameters dialed in through the GGS controller, everything's in sync. Onward to some serious bud building. 22/06: Stretch is in full swing — the girls are reaching hard, and I’ve had to raise the lights multiple times over the last few days. They’re now hovering just 10 cm above the canopy, delivering 1200 PPFD at 38 °C. We're truly pushing the physiological limit here. Dropping the lights any closer isn’t an option — cooling is maxed out, and more intensity = more heat. The only adjustable variable left would be CO₂ reduction, which I’d rather avoid at this stage. So far, no visible stress signs, but I’m watching them closely. Water uptake is intense — 100L in just 5 days. I refilled today (rather than a full res change) to prevent air pocket formation. Slightly bumped up the EC to temper the stretch. If things keep going vertical, some LST may soon be necessary — a few tops are practically kissing the diodes.

Day 43 12/08/24 Monday Feed today, it was warm again so they drank the whole 300ml each so I have topped up another 150ml to see run off to prevent salt build up. All thriving 😍✌️💚 ACOP and Melonade Runtz structure is stunning 💪 Divines Overdose is getting chunky and showing nice stack potential 👌 Leaving these to just run there natural course, will allow me to best pick my next SOG run with micro autos indoor 😎 Video update Day 45 14/08/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Day 48 17/08/24 Saturday Another watering today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only. Orange bud is tall!! Top her next time. Critical orange is lovely and compact. So this plant is phenomenal with her recovery abilities. At this point, she recovered from her previous topping only 7 days ago, and grown the final 2 inches I was waiting for. As of 4/26, she is now on 12/12. Additional nutrients will be added to her for her flower period. Time-lapse again had an error, this time, I swear, it was not me. Looks like the camera and server stopped communicating until both were restarted. So as a reference, this plant is now 10 weeks from seed. She has been topped 3 times for a total of 8 crowns. I expect harvest to be approximately 10 weeks from now. But we all know how far expectations can take us.

👉Alrighty Then👈 This plant finished out just around 90 days from seed 👉Puffed a bunch of it , and its good 👍 nice terp profile👌 However she was super leafy...... which sucked , and a small producer ..... Lucky she had bite , which is why I bumped her numbers up 😳 6 out of 10 I may give this one a try way down the road , just to see if it was a bad pheno .... Can't say at this time if I would recommend, but she's worth a try from those terps alone ..... I originally had applied to Green House Seed Co.'s Taste of the USA Contest here on Grow Diaries. Turns out I was ineligible but the good folks at GHS still had the big hearts to send me seeds anyway. So big ups to them for hooking this grower up. Welcome to the Sea of Fire 🔥 For this grow were using the Dark Phoenix seeds that GHS sent to me to create a Sea of Green. I've got 8 plants in 8 1L pots. I've decided to use Black Swallow's living soil for this grow so we won't need to add anything but water for the first 3 weeks or so. Our goal for this grow is to have these girls ready for harvest in about 20 weeks which will bring us to the beginning of November 2021. If all goes according to plan these firey buds should be filling my friends stockings this Christmas.

She has been doing better then her sister ... pH issue as usual and over watering too , my tent is bigger and I've got the temperature dialed in was at 55 lows and 65 highs for a week which hurt the whole garden a lot .. glad things are better and once it's healthy next week hopefully I'll flip her over to flower and get this show moving along quicker .. thanks for stopping in canna family .. cheers

Ok so finally decided to harvest the big beast of critical mass after a week of flush and two days of darkness shes finally down and in drying net will post updates on pics vids when its dried properly so harvested the big critical mass now have the 3 critical mass and 2 white widdow x big bud so taken a few pics will now push these over the next 4 weeks do some slight leaf stripping and then put on overdrive for last two weeks to get the best from this strain the longer u leave it the better the taste and overall flavour will be trust me guys

Week 7: Preparing for Flowering At the beginning of the week, we installed the net, marking the final stretch before flipping to flower. The plant is growing beautifully, and I’m genuinely impressed by its vitality. All the training seems to have had no negative impact—she’s handling everything like a champ! 💪🌿 By the end of the week, it’s finally time to switch to flower—wish me luck! 🍀 Challenges this week: Temperature: ~26°C Humidity: ~35% VPD: A whopping 2.4! Not exactly ideal, but thanks to the large fabric pot, she had enough water to keep going strong while I was on vacation. 🌱💦 We’re still seeing light-colored tips, and she’s putting on a final growth spurt before I flip the switch! 🌸🚀
