This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She's loaded with flowers that are all beginning to get frosty! 9/6- My daily watering campaign continues with me giving the Papaya Sherbet approximately 5 gallons of well water from the garden hose. The flowers on the Papaya Sherbet are stacking away and the frost continues to accumulate! 9/8- Today, before watering the Papaya Sherbet, I did some needed plant maintenance, removing a bunch of old dead leaves, along with a handful of shade leaves that were yellow. 9/10- Well with four weeks of flower behind her now, the Papaya Sherbet photo is almost halfway through with another 5-6 weeks to go. At day 20, I can see that the strech phase is almost over. The girls are now expressing a more specific nose, even if they share a similar aromatic profile of exotic fruits. They all share that same tropical funk back ground (myrcene/terpinolene), but some of them (#2 and 4) got a solid punch of sour lemon. Week 15 going good…not bad …switching to bloom nutrient… and did a ton of defoliating to loosen up the canopy hopefully they won’t grow too much when I flip them to 1212 in a week I’ve seen these plants three times the size. Hopefully I can stunt that growth during the initial stretch by switching to Bloom nutrients early. Defoliating a week before flipping. I may decide to top them more but I probably won Do I have to type here for it to be green this is crazy. I’ve done more than a paragraph now at this point it’s kind of weird that it’s not green be green what the hell can it still not be green

We had a huge storm hit and lost power most of the day. Day 103 9/10: Nothing today. 67.8 F-84.9 F 40%-91% Day 104 9/11: Drank plain filtered water until runoff. Light is at 100%

The buds on this girl were quite small but they came out veeery dense. The smell wasn't anything special as she was growing but now that she's cured, it smells like a really nice strong indica with hints of citrus. But she was incredibly easy to grow and so quick to recover! Couldn't be happier with the final outcome and really happy about growing this strain!

🌱So this will probably be the last week in the small pot before I transplant the flower into its final 5 gallon fabric pot. 🌱Plant has been growing healthy and looks absolutely fantastic. I’ve finally got the tent temps and humidity dialed in and it shows.. watering every 3-5 days the plant seems to be enjoying that very much. Nothing else to report at the moment.. next week is when the fun begins 🤩🏼🍁

Gorilla Glue #4 auto is a big plant,She has a lot of side stalks and is a bit bushy. She has even as well as uneven internodes. All filled in very nice and a was suprised how big of buds there where forming near the end. A little bit of LST did help to get the cannopy more even. EC levels never raised EC 1.4 and i had never a problem with feeding her. She matured very fast and i was amazed by her speed. I harvest this plant at day 73. This plant had a wonderfull smell of pine with lime and huge cola, buds are a bit hazy covered with some nice crystals. After overfeeding the plants in the past, I've been feeding not enough, lateley. Plant #1 shows nutrient deficiencies. after giving more nutrients, plant #1 seems to recover. The build up of flowers is amasing. The flowers smell really sweet.😀

Things are going great in this tent, a couple brown calcium def spots forming in a few areas and as it goes we're currently out of cal-mag lol, we should have more delivered in about 2 days...I really like the structure of these plants, a few long (fat) colas always make for easy cleaning/drying and the SP-3000 gets in there deep..we could never run this close together under our old LEDs or without bending them sideways but we've had no issues yet keeping everything vertical under the MarsHydro...The temps are a little high and we're still watering this tent more than the others but airflow is really good and the plants seem happy for now....we removed a bunch of lower growth from most of them this week so they'll put that energy towards the stuff on top and minimize "popcorn"..the smell is just amazing, this is a very hearty and beautiful strain..I'm happy we were able to grab a half dozen clones..all the Widow clones we took are well into veg at this point ...💪🐱🌱....we live in zone 5 (US) and are limited on what we can grow outdoors but I think with these being a "fast" strain we could flower them all outside..we'll play it by ear lol..well thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings, we'll update if anything exciting happens midweek...have a safe and happy Memorial Day (US) Growmies!! ❤️💡🌱😽💨 ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_

The Black Devil's OG is trucking along without issue, while the Northern light is a tad on the droopy side at night and is likely expecting earlier night hours. I will likely adjust my light schedule to reduce the stress. The videos posted came out pretty well, considering they came out of a cell phone camera. 400x ends up being really blurry as the phone can't focus properly to compensate, but you can still see all the bacteria dancing around. Some nematodes and ciliates there too.

Day 44 - The pot this morning was light as a feather so gave her a gallon of water and nutes today. Overall, she still stretching quite a bit each day. Other than that, just tucked some leaves again and letting her go. Day 45 - All is looking good and still no real issues going on. I did remove a few lower fan leaves that were dead but other than that, just put her back in the tent and tucked the leaves again. No need for water yet, will be another couple of days. Day 46 - All still looking good with her. She’s still stretching about 1/2” everyday so should be decent sized by the time stretching stops. She’ll need some water tomorrow or Sunday. Day 47 - Gave her a gallon of water and nutes today and I’m gonna see how long it takes for her to drink it up. I might have to up the intake to a gallon and a half depending. Other than that, I removed a couple big fan leaves in the way and placed her back in the tent for the evening. Day 48 - All looking good but not really budding up yet like the Cherry Cookies. All in all it looks like this will be a pretty long grow compared to all my others. According to Wicked Pissah’s website, this one should be ready in 75-100 day so I’m thinking it’ll be a full 120ish days till this girls ready. Day 49 - The end of week 7 and this girl is just exploding with growth still. I really want to heavily defoliate her but don’t want to take the chance of messing her up. Just gonna let her go and continue to tuck all the leaves as best I can.

August 18, Day 28. Had to flush on Friday due to nutrient lockout. There were purple stems which caught my attention to a possible nutrient deficiency. Coupled by the dark green older fan leaves and bright green of new growth, my Apera TDS meter confirmed nutrient lockout. Kaboom was flushed a total of 4 times Friday night, then foliar fed at 25% strength the next morning. She was given 1.1 liters of pHd water since the top inch was already dry despite flushing the night before. I am taking her thirst to mean she is recovering well. I plan on resuming the GH least aggressive feed schedule tomorrow and will begin feeding with every watering. Now that she's on the mend from the nutrient lockout I can tell she's thirstier than what she used to be, I'm taking that to mean she's hanging in there. Friends, growmies, cousins, comrades, colleagues and cultivars. Updates last week were minimal because this plant mama came down with COVID. Flushing a plant during COVID fever is no joke. Stay well and healthy everyone. August 19, Day 29. Fed at least aggressive strength today until 25% runoff. Included a new supplement to the nutrient line up, silica. Today is the first time I use it so I went easy and used the weakest dose. Plant has 5 main sites so far, yahoozie. To top a second time? No se todavia, deja lo pienso jajaja August 21, Day 31.Topped one more time, clipped the tallest point to give the others time to catch up. I know I will need to defoliate a tiny bit, soon, but I'm a bit scared to remove either too much or a mega vital leaf. I'll watch videos about it and aim for next week. I sprayed the top inch with pH'd water and will feed and water tomorrow morning. August 22, Day 32. Fed and watered, no recharge since I used it on Day 29. As I repositioned the kabob sticks, I noticed a couple of milestones - she is in the very beginning stages of forming pistils and she is beginning to smell. I plan on keeping her in veg for at least 2 more weeks, hopefully this isn't super ambitious for a plant named Kaboom lol 😂 August 24, Day 34. I checked on Kaboom and found that the top inch was totally dry so I fed and watered her. I used everything except recharge, but will use it at next feeding since I'm aiming for 10 days in between applications. I think Kaboom is looking fabulous

Fought root rot/res/nute issues all week, but seemed to have turned the corner. Nice steady growth. Cleaned the res hard at the start of the week and continued to treat with H2O2, and switched to Lucas Formula for nutes along the way. I added ~30mL of 3% H2O2 daily for 4 days before the smell seemed to disappear and roots recovered. Afterwards double dosed the hydroguard again. Noticing very dark and shiny leaves with some clawing. I hadn't been measuring the EC in the res and figured I burned the plants. I replaced 1 gal of the res with pH'd tap water to reduce the EC/PPM. Did not take exact measurements. My notes get thinner from here as I had too many plants going at once to properly document this first attempt.

Day 99. Almost there.flushed this week. One more week hopefully.

flushing....ANXIETY...:) well..sort of just incredible how the ladies still develop in their last stage...; Humans could take an example anyhow....almost everything milky..yet little amber... patience my friends..patience 😅
