What an awesome thing to walk in on starting off week three all the girls were praying and just getting so fat, I really need to strip some fan leaves off the mom. They look great, the smaller cuts definitely aren't as good as the 4-6" cuts are, they were MAYBE 3-4" cuts and pretty small, but they are extras anyways so it doesn't matter, just seeing what they do. I'm excited for them to have all this space to stretch out when I pick up another light. Last day of week three and I couldn't be happier, I absolutely have to cut thicker clones , these smaller ones all got a bulbous base? Not sure what that's about but we will see how they develop. They are extras anyways but still nice to figure it all out.

Initially ran this plant as a way to get dial in my tent and setup while coming to grasp with tent growing in general. Since its an autoflower the growing was easy. However this is a very commercial seed bank and the quality you get is in line with that. Now i'm moving, getting a larger setup, and going to run more genetics. Zamnesia will not be a part of that.

Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows. Starting week 3 flower i have defoliated most of the yellow leafs and the leafs that were blocking the light and also done some final LST to even out the canopy a bit more And trimmed away lower growth the humidity is slightly high because they just got fed aother than that everything seems to look good ☺️

Week six! Butterfly is still chugging along - not mus to report really, she's stopped stretching and is piling on the pistils. Day 36 - Photographed and fertigated 5l each. Day 38 - Photographed. Ive been busy buying toilet paper and making anti virus masks. But in between I got some nice Dimonds from my fresh frozen Fire OG / Tangerine Skunk blast a few weeks / months ago And I broke out a double Dominion Skunk blast.. its produced my largest Dimonds so far. I will update pics of plants soon...

12-16-2024 - Plants continue to do well. Found some rust spots on several of the leaves for the Granite Runtz...could be a bit of over-feeding as I top dressed recently despite being on Grow Dots...not too worried about it though. These guys are drinking like crazy so there is plenty of time between feedings where they're getting a little flush action. I'm going to guess that we're about 3-5 weeks out from chopping these down and I'm impressed with their size so far. Now I'm really just waiting for the buds to continue developing and see what kind of size we can put on these gals. This grow has gone unbelievably well and I feel like I have the tent dialed in pretty good. More to come! 12-17-2024 - Well this morning the girls got a bath in Recharge and Sweet Berry. They were very thirsty! The nuggs on these plants are getting massive and I'm expecting to see branches start to struggle to carry the load. At this point I'd say they're probably 3-4 weeks out from chop...but that is a very loose estimate. I'll keep a close eye on them as we go. Having so much fun watching these girls grow huge. CANNOT wait to weigh these things dry. I really think I'm gonna be close to a pound with this tent. 12-19-2024 - Got some nutrient burn going on with the Granite Runtz...just the top leaves and other than some orange speckles on the leaves the flowers look good and overall the plant looks healthy. The GR's have by far the thickest/most dense flowers of the three. The Frosted Cherry O's look very balanced and is the most attractive plant in the tent. The Mystery Seed, which is the only one I topped, is just growing in every direction and has tons of flowers but is clearly behind the rest in terms of maturity. I'd say in a few days to a week it'll be much thicker. Today I watered each plant with 3 Liters of dechlorinated tap water PH'd to 6.5. I'll take a look at them on Saturday morning and see how dry they are. Basically they're drinking a half gallon of water per day. Probably 4 weeks out from harvest is my best guess right now.

4/1/21 - Both plants were transplanted into 5 gallon fabric pots with Ocean Forest soil by Fox Farm Nutrients. I will be using plain water for the next two weeks to allow the plants to get acclimated. (See video) 4/2/21 - Watered both plants with water (ph 6) noticed the grow room is a little humid throughout parts of the day but I will be installing the fan today. Both plants seem to be adjusting well. 4/3/21 - Plants are doing good. Watered them with ph 6 water. Noticing some yellow on the bottom leaves. 4/4/21 - The ends of the leaves are turning a light yellow from nutrient burn as a result of the ocean forest soil. Started low stress training today, added two clips per plant (see photo) 4/5/21 - The soil is still moist from yesterday, I’m not going to water today. They are still in the low stress training clips. You can really see the nutrient burn today. (See video) 4/6/21 - I watered the plants today with water (ph 6). Not much change in appearance from yesterday. 4/7/21 - Plants are looking great, the nutrient burn is starting to fade a little. I will be starting a new week tomorrow. (Continuing with water, and low stress training)

Flush is on! A gallon a day each of pH’ed tap water for the next week and a half to 2 weeks. Fall colors galore incoming! One is already going mad purple as I started it on the flush a bit earlier.
