This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.

3 Plants. 3 citrusy phenos! #1 : First to sprout rapid rooter. TASTE: Pure Lemon front end into hashy cakey afghani. refer to this as the "lemon hashcake" phenom very dense, beautiful nug structure. Yielded 24.5 dry grams of primo smoke. Uplifting more cerebral sativa high with some punch in body as well. happy stress reliever for sure! has some "gassy" or fuel notes to it but very subtle #2 Tangerine pheno: I orginally thought sour 76 was sour diesel x 76 Afghan til i read hso marks post on uk420 forums saying its cali sour d x 76 afghan. cali sour d is cali orange x sour d x mexican sativa. and it shows in this pheno which smell and taste pretty similar to tangie my friend grows which is cali orange x skunk 1 (mexican sativa x Colombian sativa x afghan indica) pretty similar genetics roots! Smell: Sweet tangerine 🍊 Taste: Just like tangerines 🍊 Medical Effects: Hybrid feeling effects felt both in body and mind.  Stimulating mentally, relaxing in the body.  Mild pain relief generally with amazing relief improving feeling in joints (reduced swelling or irritation in otherwise aching areas, loosened tension at joints) Notes: After breaking up or grinding the sweet tangerine open jar/bud smells turns more sour tangerine with very subtle gas aroma. This one is scary strong! I am an all day regular smoker of the most potent buds I can find, and I never make it thru 1 bowl of this without long breaks after each hit.  Starts off strong and creeps to EXTREME psychoactivity.  Not for the faint of heart this one might not be best for "new smokers" 😎🔥🔥🔥 yielded 26.1 grams if id have taken clones this woulda been the keeper of the batch, but I got more to check out in future run :) and I got a cloner and veg chamber to start keepin the keepers now I know i like the strain! #3 Lime Fuel pheno: Smell: Lime🍈 and gas ⛽ Taste: lime Medical Effects: Cerebral uplift. Creeper. thought it was weakest on initial smoke but 10 minutes in it end up being strongest high of all 3.  super wicked sativa, buzzy uplifting all similar to Cinderella 99 or strong jack herers this has almost a "scary high"  first few times but once you get used to it or microdose, it is a super fun creative medicine.  Helps my arthritis pains and gives me the clean up the house kind of high Notes: Foxtailed, lowest yield of 3 sour 76's likely because its place directly under the light (perhaps didnt like too intense direct light) but is the most potent of the 3 as well. yielded 22.5 grams of dry

The Apple Cup hermied this week along with the Baker's Dozen. Fortunately Tropicanna Poison is flowering so fast that it seems to be unbothered by the hermies next to it. The hermied plants will be stunted as more energy will be focused on developing pollen/seeds. Also I'll have to chop them down early before any seeds begin to solidify within the buds. It's ideal to immediately remove any hermies as soon as pollen sacs are spotted. Unfortunately I only have my small closet space so I decided to leave them and observe the growth of hermies.

After a previous fresher week, heat is back and daytime temperature reach 25-27° C again, plants are now flowering and the only automatic is close to be ready (about 2 weeks left I think). I will inspect triconomes with my lenses and microscope. 2x ICE 78cm (+6cm) & 69cm (+2cm) === No idea why this difference! White Widow 85cm (+5cm) Cookies Gelato 90cm (+5cm) Do-Si-Dos Automatic 39cm (same as last week)

Día 73 desde su nacimiento y ya se ha dejado de abonar hace un par de días para obtener resultados más limpios de residuos. El progreso está a la vista, flores muy densas que estaban doblando todas las ramas de esta planta por lo que tuve que agarrarla para ayudarlas a soportar el peso. El nivel de tricomas es impresionante y desprende una fragancia dulce bastante agradables por toda la casa. BUENOS HUMOS! 👽

Smooth trim. heat outside is too much now - plant 2 got a little bit longer (about 3 or 4 days) Both really resinous and super fast grows.

Gave the girls a flush and a complete water change this week. That was only the second water change they have had this grow. I have just been letting them drink the reservoir almost empty and then filling it up with fresh nutes. The 5 plants are drinking about 4 gallons a day combined. Been running AC when the lights are on and the dehumidifier 24 hours a day. All of the plants are showing some decent trichome production. Running 1/2 tsp maxibloom and 1/8 tsp beastie bloomz per gallon every time I add water. Seems to be keeping everyone happy.

Almost there. Amber trichomes are starting to appear. Pretty sure it looks like that because of something I did or didn't do and has nothing to do with the name. Very interesting strain to grow.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2203 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2203 girls and they're on a roll! When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and they should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! I planted her outside week half ago she took off great so I tied her down I have to tie more down and open to make leval canopy being sativa I have time she won't be done tell first October .

No signs of flowering yet, maybe slight formation of calxys beginning. Been spraying with molasses, neem, cal mag and liquid kelp (bioweed) and superthrive just once to hopefully delay flowering to increase yield. P.S. if youre new at growing DO NOT try this unless you know what your doing with hormones etc. Theres a chance it can turn your girls hermie. Just be aware!

Chopped down the large colas and threw the bottom buds in the freezer to be made into bubble hash this weekend. I will update more after drying. Update: 💨Puffed a couple joints and MY MY that is a tasty treat! Notes of 🍍pineapple and 🌺lavender. The high is very heady and spacey feeling yet pretty mellow compared to other sativas I enjoy. Insatiable munchies as well. You’ll be grazing all day long. Fantastic personal strain for recreational use outdoors.
