this week was a lil challenging, had to get out of LST due to the fact that I broke a branch and that just tripped me off and I took off all my ties , apart from that i started giving her bloom products because I noticed a few hairs. I started applying tiresias mist to one of my branches so I can get pollen sacks to produce my own fem seeds, as I plan on crossing my fortune cookies autoflower with my ak48 autoflower and creating a new strain called "DRAKO" AUTOFLOWER well till next update . O.G. Bang Bang !! out.....

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Happy to have this beast in flower. No major stretch so far; fingers crossed it stays that way. Will continue to defoliate and add flowering nutes in the next week or 2. Photos/video taken 84 days after breaking soil, day 7 of flower.

Harvested today. Noticed a small amount of bud rot on a couple of top buds due to elevated humidity over the last few days. Affected tops were removed immediately. Only the very top buds were impacted, the majority of the plant was healthy and harvested without issues. Trimming done, moving on to drying. Final trimmed weight will be updated later plus a more thorough evaluation of the grow and strain. * Rest of grow info week 20

i was on holiday for 14 days and left the plant to its own (AUTOPOT takes care of that) and when i came home i was amazed. it tolerated the topping very well and is now twice as tall as it was two weeks ago. i topped it again straight away. so 4 times in total this time. if it continues to grow like this, it will be a monster in october. a few leaves are already bigger than my hand. unfortunately i broke one stem with light LST, which is why i'm not using the LST after all. i hope it recovers from the injury. 😵💪

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Harvest day ! The plants are chopped and are hanging to dry. I put in a dehumidifier and a humidifier to control the humidity around 60%. The goal is to dry for 10 to 14 days. Then i will trim and cure them in grove bags for 6 weeks. I put the mutant straight in a zip lock in the freezer. I will make fresh frozen bubble hash (full spectrum) out of this one. I will update if the buds are dry en trimmed 🍀✌️

The sticky rice is one of the smaller plants but it is very healthy I’m looking forward to how it turns out This past week was smooth sailing I topped all the plants

The aroma is definitely fully developing now, I'm getting more green apple smell with a creamy sweetness, it's hard to describe 😂 I've started to taper off the nutrients in the past few days, in the next couple of days I'm going to start watering with plain water until the end. Trichomes are getting cloudy. She is fattening up nicely and she seems to just keep piling on the weight, buds are looking dense. Not long now, probably about 2 weeks give or take 👌🏻🏻💚 have a good weekend, stay high ...

The autopots did their thing at about .6g a day. I did battle multiple hot days in the garage. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. I ran out of bloom and used some powdered kool bloom and it worked well. Thinking of switching to jacks RO but it’s working so good now I don’t want to switch. This weeks accomplishments: install two more autopots - for the gelatos. I put the gelatos in fabric autopots, one 5g xl and one 15g xxl. Scrogging the gelatos to flatten the canpoy Long term issues Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing pest and mold issues - my humidity crept up high when I was gone and I saw a few powder leaves which were promptly removed upon my return. I had to take my fiancé to a swanky resort for a few days. I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. Best of luck gromies. Check out my black cherry gelato grow. Day 78 - Starting week 12 and will be giving her some water and nutes tomorrow. All is going well and gonna start keeping an eye on the trichs. She’s not really a big fat plant and I’ve never really had one grow so lengthy before but she’s definitely putting on same nice weight and an amazing smell. Day 79 - Gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today, she was pretty dry and ready. Other than that, I’m just letting her go for now and I’m not needing to do much defoliating lately. Day 80 - No real updates today, just some updated daily pics. Not really having to do anything with this girl but feed her and let her dry out, then repeat. Day 81 - Nothing really new today, just letting her chug along. She will probably need some water in another day or so. Day 82 - Everything’s looking good still but just realized that she might be foxtailing just a bit. Not really a worry for me but thinking it’s from the stress of when I snapped her main branch early on in growth. It seems to only be on a couple buds towards the top but going to keep an eye on her trichs and probably start flushing her tomorrow. Day 83 - Gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today. The way she’s looking, this will probably be the last feeding of nutes before flushing. Still quite a bit of clear trichs but quite a bit of milky in theee as well so thinking she’s got about 2 weeks or so left. Day 84 - The end of week 12 and she’s doing good. Really y’all and lengthy plant so trying not to take her out and move her too much anymore. Thinking she’s down to a couple weeks now so next feeding will be pH’d water only.
