Not a lot to report which isn’t evident from the pictures. I did build up the remaining three strains to the same height as the tallest they’re getting between about 750-1200 ppfd in the centre, which seems a lot but I am supplementing C02 and there’s no signs of light stress or burn or even foxtailing so I guess these girls can take it! They’re fattening up still, always hard to tell how dense the buds are but the Gorilla Zkittlez looks like it’s gonna be the heavy yielder and might just be a touch behind the others for development. The Peanut butter cookies is still getting fatter but seems the other end of the spectrum and may be ready to finish soon, although she’s still putting out new pistils, pretty purple now too. The Tahoe OG looks right in the middle, packing on a bit of bulk now and the bud structure looks really neat and tidy. Then finally the Runtz muffin, I carelessly snapped off a top bud when defoliating last week and dried it up and it’s 🔥 already so looking forward to this one maturing properly. I forgot to put that I’d been feeding molasses for the last few weeks, just to feed up the microbes and see if it’s of any benefit.

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Had to strip her to get to know where she was growing. Cut some branches that were overlapping and also tried to shape her a bit. Still i think there are many branches growing so i have to wait for it to grow; now it is 3 months with: - Veg lights - grow nutrients The pot i think it is 1 litter; but will feed her with 1 litter every week. All Veg phase will last 4 months - 16 weeks Will feed with water only for 1 week in: - week 5 - week 10 - week 16 Then on week 17 you will start grow phase. Grow phase will last 8 months - 32 weeks. I will water water only in weeks: - week 21 - week 26 - Flush - week 28 - Week 33 - Flush If she grows too much: re-pot on week 17

Not going to go into much detail on the individual plants this week since there is nothing exciting to report. Only note this week is something we all pretty much know already. Organics and hydroponics dont play well together! I was using gringo Rasta calmag and it clogged all my feed lines. I ordered some calimagic so this wont be an issue anymore. Everyone is growing well and stretching quite a bit. I started them on some maxibloom. I will increase it as I lower the maxigro over the next couple weeks. Pretty boring right now, but stick around a few weeks and that might change.

This week I'm going to talk a little bit about the 2 gal pots I leave outdoors. Since they're going to be indoors now, I've assembled a fertilizer rack and the bottom compartment is perfect for a cage with all the plants I have. With a length of 1.5m, width 65cm and height of 1m, I will use 4 led bulbs 50w and 2 full spectrum LEDs 36w long 1.2m. 272w / ~ 1m2. 2/3:Plant the plants indoors and lst them. 4 led bulb 50w 5/3:Run off all the trees, as it was soaked with rain water when left outside. is still the old nutritional dose. 6/3: Today I received the led light I ordered. I perfect my design and let the tree in the cage out and lst. 9/3:I feel everything is perfect today, I reduce their lighting time to 12/12. I will cut off all the fan leaves from the stem of the 2gal pots and prune all the small branches of the 1gal pot. in this pruning I will trim them as much as possible. It's been 37 days since the seed and I think they're ready for flowering. I need to flower them urgently because in the next 2 months the weather can be as hot as 40 degrees, and I really have no way to reduce their temperature. I would probably have them flower for 7 to 8 weeks to retain maximum resin. a few days before high, I fliming an NL plant, I experimented with this technique and I feel that they have been very successful since the fliming plants have a much larger stump than other plants. I really like this technique, as it will save me the small space I currently have without having toppings. With just a few simple steps I have got a really big stump and still keep the biggest main bud of the tree. I hope each plant can give me 20-25 grams of dried marijuana.

Day 57: Girls looking good and healthy. Got the HLG turned up 100% pumping 500 watt to em! We shall see. Still only given around 500ppm nutes. Day 58: Got mostly cloudy with just a couple amber it looks like. I'm thinking I need to start flushing. Albeit, only on one plant. I will wait a few days more until I make a decision. Day 59: Still looking beautiful! Buds are getting thicker! Decided I will give MOAB till week 10 and check the tric's at that time. Prob start flushing at that time. Only time will tell. Day 60: Girls looking good. 👊 Not gonna lie, getting nervous as I do not want to cut em too soon or too late. This is a tough spot. The one has a ton of red hairs. It looked as if there was just a couple of amber that I found the other day. I was looking on the outside of the buds, also. So I know the inside is where I need to look. Just not wanting to jack with them too much. I will check again at end of week. Day 61: Busy. No updates. Day 62: These girls are starting to smell amazing!! I don't see any noticeable growth here lately. I'm hoping they start to bulk even more though as I think I am still seeing some clear trichomes. Day 63: Welp, all is well and no new updates. I been feeding pretty heavy so I will back off and just water tomorrow.

31.3 The plant has entered the flowering stage, with the first pistils starting to show. I think both plants are going to be the purple phenotype. You can already see the first hints of purple on the early-stage buds—or at least they seem to have a purple tint. We’ll know for sure in the coming days. 2.4 They’re definitely going to be fully purple. Even at this early stage, they’re already starting to show deep purple hues. I’m really excited to see how they develop.
