chopped #1 on 1/21/25 started curing today 1/27/25 chopped #5 on 1/23/25 still hanging and drying. will update with weights and smoke reports and more pictures when dried and cured #1 33 grams. nice big nugs. i really like how the mainline turned out with the final product #5 32 grams smaller buds overall but the yeild is very similar. these are weights after trimming. i did a fairly heavy trim on thesr 2 plants. this diary started with 5 plants but because of my perpetual flowering set up, i have had 3 other diaries for the flowering stages of the other 3. The flowering stage of this diary are only plant #1 and plant #5

This week was pretty mellow. Not much done. Watered twice this week, with second watering made some compost tea I brewed up on Thursday. Plants seem very happy. Smell is getting a little stronger. Not sure I have smelled anything some grapey. Very strange doesn't even seem real...lol. Loving this grow!!!

Updates & Maintenance: Watering: Still exclusively using RO water. No overwatering, just light and consistent hydration as needed. Lollipopping: The plants got a little cleanup this week. Lower growth was trimmed back again, keeping the stems neat and focusing energy on the upper canopy. This helps maintain that signature Sea of Green look and primes the plants for fat main colas later. Observations: The plants are uniform, healthy, and stacking nicely. Each one is starting to show its individual character, but they’re all working toward that tight SOG canopy. Marienkäfer buddy is still around, keeping the ecosystem in balance. No pest issues, no drama. Next Steps: It’s all about staying steady and letting the Donutz do their thing. The lollipopping ensures the plants are focused on upward growth, and the stable environment in the tent is creating the perfect conditions for success. I can’t even describe really what it is. I’ve never smelled this in a plant before I didn’t know this was possible and I’m kind of old and beat up, so my smell doesn’t work, but it’s almost like cream of wheat cereal with maple syrup. Good week. PPM issues last week were due to messing around with the watering schedule. I changed to a 3min fill and the extra water disturbed the clay pebbles, releasing sediment into the reservoir. I'm back to 1min fills. Buds are looking excellent. They're growing very close to the lamp but I don't have room to raise it anymore, I'm thinking I'll need to string them using the corners of the tent as anchors if they start burning. The dehumidifier was also set too high, so it's been a bit steamy in there for the last day. Reset it from 45% back down to 20% so it's running at full power day and night. When it's set at 45% the real RH raises to 80%, when it's set at 20% the RH sits at around 45%.

Die Auto Candy Bubatz ist reif für die Ernte. sie hat in der letzten heißen Woche ihre Blüten ausreifen lassen. Mit dem ersten Hochnebel des Jahres steigt auch die Schimmelanfälligkeit und somit werde ich sie heute schneiden. Der Erntebericht und weitere Fotos werden folgen. Vielen Dank an Dutch Passion, dass ich an diesem Contest teilnehmen konnte. Ich habe Einiges über Autoflowers dazugelernt, sodass mir keine mehr vollständig verschimmelt ist, was leider letztes Jahr geschehen ist. Die Bubatz riecht jetzt sehr süß, etwas minzig, würzig. Richtig super einfach war es jedoch nicht, sie durch die Schlechtwetterperiode im Sommer zu bekommen. Autoflower sind keine Selbstläufer. Ich freue mich bereits auf den ersten Genuss. Zuallererst wird ihr Duft beim Trocknen durch die Wohnung ziehen, auch bereits ein Event. --- The Auto Candy Bubatz is ready for harvest. It has allowed its flowers to mature during the last hot week. With the first high fog of the year, the susceptibility to mold also increases, so I will cut it today. The harvest report and more photos will follow. Many thanks to Dutch Passion for allowing me to participate in this contest. I learned a lot about autoflowers, so none of them got completely moldy, which unfortunately happened last year. The Bubatz now smells very sweet, a little minty, spicy. However, it wasn't really that easy to get it through the bad weather period in the summer. Autoflowers are not a sure-fire success. I'm already looking forward to enjoying them for the first time. First of all, their scent will waft through the apartment as they dry, which is an event in itself.
