Smell is so nice now, skunky with almost a sweet spice in the mix. I started bagging them at 7pm on July 19th. After 8-10days flower was showing. Idk, I'm actually happy with my slow going process. I mean these girls were started around the very end of March indoors. Now, almost mid August I'm just a little over a week into flower. Slow process people. Gunna be worth the wait though 😏 All in all, I'd say if you live in Zone 3b, growing pure Sativa outdoors is not the most optimal choice. It can be done successfully though with a little extra care and attention paid.

This week I began some LST on one of the banana purple punch the other in fox farm soil is still shorter and I did leaf tucking. Super happy with them so far. The coast of maine soil (bigger plant) is slightly needing some more nitrogen but that's okay shes getting very large I'll hit her with food tomorrow morning! Hope you enjoy as much as I do! The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Today I top dressed the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4 along with 1 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish 7-7-2 and 1/2g of Wiggle Worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 3g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. 6/26- Our summer is here and we're under an early heat wave this week with daytime temp's hitting the mid to upper 90's ℉ with heat indexes in the low 100's ℉... in short, IT'S FNG HOT!🔥🔥🔥 I'm watering the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo daily now with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose. I'm watering at sundown so that the water will have some time to soak down into the soil before the heat evaporates it. The coating of straw that I previously spread over the soil around her base has helped a lot as well. 6/28- Our weather is HOT now with heat indexes over 100℉ so I'm watering the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod every day with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose in the late afternoon once the plant is in the shade. Other than the ever present leaf hoppers, which love the leaves but leave the flowers alone, and an occasional Japanese Beetle, there aren't any serious pest issues currently. The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod continues to have excellent color and vigor, continuing to add new growth and increase her height, it seems daily! 6/30- The weather continues to relentlessly bake everything outside... LSD has gone crazy over the last week, insane bulk-up in her buds, from top to bottom, in by the stock and out to the tips, she's just bulky, dense, sticky, frosty and incredible! By far, the best looking results from any of my LSD grows. Green Crack also looks incredible and the rest of the ladies, while doing awesome, will be their final grow in my garden. Unfortunately, I've let the Chaos Cake become too dry due to the fungus gnats, I had watered it too much, and afterwards, I just got a huge increase in the amount of fungus gnats. So, I thought it was best to let it dry out for a while. I think, however, I might have left it a little bit too long because it was incredibly dry. So when I watered it, it actually made the plant fall over. So I've had to prop it up with some metal garden pegs. Hopefully, she'll rectify herself if I make sure that the medium is properly. Watered. Other than that, the plant is doing well. Hopefully, she'll start becoming a little bit more sturdy next week! 😅 I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 28.9.25: I watered with 1.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 Sea K .5TSP 💜 Biosys .5TSP PH: 6.2 PPM: 565 The fungus gnats have really increased since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. Apple Betty Seedlings 🌱 are doing great! They are looking very healthy and happy. #1 was slow from the get-go but she has been building steam and is doing well. Routine this week was was just checking the humidifier every morning, and spritzing with my spray bottle x2 daily (very small amounts) starting at the base of the plant, but also making sure to get the exterior edges to allow those roots to be searching for water. Changed the light cycle to 18/6 around day 7, and also adjusted my BloomPlus BP 2500 to have 140 watts at the wall. Didn’t lower the light as the increased wattage seemed to slow down the stretch they initially had. Still using my small 250 watt heater behind my intake fan to draw some heat in and keep the tent nice and cozy, even during lights out (about 75-76 *F) By day 14, I started to water with a measuring cup, still using my 1 ml of Sensi Cal/Mag extra. Watering only about 1/4 cup of water all around the pot, and will wait until the soil is dry’ish (the old finger poke) before I start to increase the watering amount gradually. No nutrients yet, but I will be using the Advanced Nutrients- Grow, Micro and Bloom along with the Sensi Cal Mag extra. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

June 8: Northern wildlife for Northern Lights diary. Great Horned Owl ( I think) as shot on old iPhone from grow area. There for about 20 minutes not moving, just swivelling his head around looking for a meal.

Missed a few weeks due to I.T. problems. She has been going great really filling out her colas, she is super frosty & sticky & has a nice sweet/earthy smell. Added scrog net help seperate branches & open up the middle of plants. She has just finished her 6th week of flower
