Buds filling out nicely, humidity a touch high but all good apart from that

Day 71 - She just seems to get frostier everyday, it just keeps packing on. This girl has definitely been on of the frostiest I’ve grown yet. The smell she’s producing just smells like sweet citrus and really looking forward to the chop but will probably give her till the end of week 12. So she’s got about 2 weeks left and the next watering, she’ll be flushed and nothing but water till the end. Day 72 - Not much I can say about this girl right now, just waiting for trichs to be right to chop. Will give her a flush tomorrow or Friday. Day 73 - I wish I could get good pictures of the trichs but I never can. I’ve tried different attachments for my phone and everything else but nothing seems to work but either way no clear left and 100% milky but would like to get at least 20-30% amber before chopping but at least I know she’s ready at any time now. Day 74 - Gave her a flush using Foxfarm’s Sledgehammer and no just letting her go until she finishes off. Still not really seeing an amber trichs so she’s definitely not ready for the way I like it. Day 75 - She’s starting to show a bit of amber trichs now but only about 1-2%. She could be getting chopped next weekend but possibly sooner depending on how she finishes off. Day 76 - Was almost ready to cut the girl today but decided to hold off till next weekend. She’s already bulked you’re quite a bit but gonna give her time to feed of the nutes in the leaves and see how much more she will bulk up. Day 77 - Nothing new, just waiting to chop. Might give her another flush tomorrow or Wednesday, just to make sure all the nutes are out of the soil.

So far so good. A little discoloration in a few leaves. Bud sites forming. Weird weather we've been having and temps in the box jumped up into the 90's. That being said I went ahead and made the switch to LED. Wish I would have switched sooner. Temps fell almost 20F. Sure some has to so with the outside temps dropping back down but this thing runs so cool. Great light penetration but not sure if the intensity is enough. Time will tell. She pretty much stopped eating and drinking. I read that prior to flowering they will slow down overall uptake and slow down growth as well. I don't quite remember that from my last grow but I do remember there being a huge flowering stretch. I'm switching over to bloom nutes next week after a flush so hopefully she'll get the nutes she needs/wants.

👉The plant hasn't gained much more height, but the buds have started to plump and frost. The aroma has also become strong and is an intoxicating creamy lemony scent. The frost is spreading onto the sugar leaves. The buds are going to be dense. I have only taken a few of the lower and most shaded leaves, and those leaves were starting easy to pluck as if the plant was done with them anyway. Its got purple stems and at the beginning of the week show potential early signs of magnesium deficiency. This can be due to the pure H2O I use and less mag in the solution than normal, so I added an extra measure of Calmag in the mix. I haven't seen any progression of purple veins or any other notable possible nutrient issues in the leaves. The plant is full of leaves and I have zero intention to remove anymore of the food factories until the plat tells me to. 👉I used week 8 "mid Bloom" nutrient mix from the General Hydroponics Flora Series Drain to waste feed chart. The run-off has stayed within the target. I did one low EC fertigation and one H20nly event, both followed by regular strength solution.Switching to the week 9 mix this week. 👉

I decided to skip out on the 3gal and upgraded to a 4.97 or 5gal container. The plastic is cheep and looks like it was going to break but its all the grow store had in stock at the time. Was talking to them about going from a 2gal to 3gal and how it did not do much for the plant but stress it out. They also gave me a free sample of a bokashi fertilizer, I divided that in between the two plants. It looks identical to the regular non fertilizer branded bokashi, and I feel its the same but with a mist of NPK on it or something. Plants are doing well, Dynomyco had a slighter bigger root ball upon transplant and the plant its self is a tiny bit more robust. Given all the other soil boosters and microorganisms I have added into this, I don't feel I will see the true potential of just Dynomyco vs soil nothing else added. I just can't not add the others as it feel like a massive step backwards and end of day a big healthy plant is worth it. This diary may not have massive contrast in favour of Dynomyco but I will still use it none the less and I think its helps plus its not over just yet. Hello, readers! I've been in a different country this week, so I didn't keep an eye on Mirra. However, my friend came few times to take pictures and add new solution. Because of that I don't know precise temp and humidity. Also I decided not to train the plant, because my friend would've struggle to fix the wires, while the plant grows. I also switched to 35 liters, as I wanted before. Now I have 3 air-pump, each of it consumes 3watt and blows 2.5-3 liter per minute. So, in my calculations it should be enough air. Preflower started 😍 Feeding: I decided to experiment with food. I have some new fertilizers which are waaaay(~50 times) cheaper than the weed-fertilizers. Let's test it. It's recommended dosage of mixing is 10gr/liter to get this NPK proportions per liter. In fact 1 gr/liter of this nutrients rises PPM by 350. And one of them slightly lowering PH, which is good for me. NPK20, B 0.01, Cu 0.02, Fe 0.04, Mn 0.01, Mo 0.002, Zn 0.002 - 30 gr to 35 liters. Or 0.85 gr/liter. N 15.5 CaO 26 - 10 gr to 35 liters. or 0.28 gr/liter.

Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.

Getting so close to harvest!! She's just stacking the bud and trichromes daily! I'm watching the colors, waiting for ~60% amber. Smells amazing, like a funky orange cheese, some lite notes of vanilla/cream. Hopefully she's ready to dry this week Update Day 65: part of my original 600w light died, only 2/4 panels are working full power. I borrowed a "1000w" Amazon light from a buddy and set the 2 up for 900-1000ppfd in the cola/upper area, and 600-750 in all the lower areas. Going to run it like this for a few days and if she doesn't respond well I'll have to pull her a little early Day 67: dual lights seem to be really helping to bulk up the buds! Hopefully only a couple days left. Trichromes are ~75% CLOUDY, still very little amber yet (less than 5%). Terps are crazy, very OG/funk smell, once you touch the plant though it's like orange pixie sticks!!

No bug or disease problems. I even took her off veg nutes way too soon and she recovered like a fucking champ. I’m popping two more this week. Unfortunately i didn’t weigh it because Of some very unfortunate circumstances that I was dealing with at the time. I essentially had to vacate my premise within 24 hours. A few days after harvest. Anyways. I ended up smoking the whole thing with my friends and it was straight fire. The terps were crazy also. Super sweet. After curing she had a very sweet smell like bubblegum / grape. This was only my second harvest ever.

Lil ones gaining strength, transplant monday? To 5 gal...Taking trip to Arizona for thanksgiving so should be a pleasant return to see some big growth.

Yo. A new week has started. Day 50, These girls have a great week. Packing on some weight and starting to stack nicely. Day 53, lights gone to 100% really happy with how these ladies are doing. Really starting to stack up and put some weight on. Feeding these girls quite heavy now watering 1ltr every other day. ✌️ Day 55, moving on slowly. Cold night time temps slowing things down a little I think. The smell is getting stronger and stronger. Messed the days weeks and months uo again 🤦‍♂️ Day 57, keeping week 8 open to catch up so my diary’s correct. Very happy with these girls. Day 58, fed and watered last night. Night time temps are getting really low now and RH is creeping up so keeping a close eye on things. The smell is so sweet. Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I have been fertigating and also emptying the de-humidifier water into the driest looking substrate as it fills up. I have been keeping the tent door open and pushing more air through with fans. I have had to tied up just about every branch on plant 2 as the buds are rapidly approaching peak density and the weight of them is causing all the stems to bend over. Despite not having a main cola, if I manage to harvest, dry, and cure this plant, I think it's going to exceed 100g. The highest buds are showing around 2-3% amber - I am counting the days now, this girl is very close. The harvest window is open, but I am waiting for about 10 times more amber. Interestingly. using the loupe I have discovered that plant 1 is likely to be the next to be harvested despite both plants 4 and 5 being ahead of her. She is showing early signs of fade and I am seeing about 1% amber. No fade, no amber on the other three plants. Some heat stress/damage on higher fan leaves. Not concerned, nothing do be done, the plants got too big and I am only happy to be able to keep them upright and still in the tent, even though they are higher than the light.
