12/01/2021 FIMed all plans a second time, and also FIMed the tips of the other main branches of all plants. They will get another dose of Recharge with their next feeding tomorrow. 12/04/2021 I fed two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above. 12/05/2021 I gave all the girls a second major defoliation. I plan to switch to 12/12 flower cycle this Tuesday evening. 12/06/2021 I removed a few leaves and fed two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above. These girls are doing excellent. They have responded very well to the major defoliation that they received. I will flip them to the 12/12 flower cycle in a day or two I believe. I uploaded a couple of pictures of the strains I plan to grow in the future, which is mostly Humboldt Seed Company genetics.

Been slack with the updates as we are busy buidling a new greenhouse. will make sure I take nice individual photos for harvest though.

Flower is upon us and now the journal is caught up. I will be giving weekly updates at this point as they happen, playing catch-up is over but I did want to get my journey started on this site. Still a relatively new grower and I have plenty to learn.

The light has been turned down to 50% for the last week and now She's on her last week of flushing and and starting to get alot of yellowing on the leaves . The bud has frosted up pretty nice now . The buds are rock hard and I am hoping after drying that it will still have alot of weight to it . Not a huge amount of smell to this plant even late in flower. It smells very earthy when you open the tent up but if you touch a bud it smells like lemon citrus with a very strong fuel smell . But it really smells tasty 😋. The next 3 waterings will have a cleanse added to the water I just really want to make sure it's as clean as I can get it since it is my first harvest and I dont want to fail lol . Can't wait to smoke my own weed lol .

Awsome the smell if this girls! And really every leave is sticky. Looking forward to the Smoke!

Finally some buds

I started by soaking the seeds in a cup of water for 24 hrs, next I switched to the paper towel method and kept them in a tupperware container with the lid attached and sprayed with water for 24 hours, I planted them 7am today 9/29/21.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. 420 Fastbuds Week 7 Gorilla Cookies Auto Hello everyone. I hope all is well. Weekly update for these two beautiful ladies. They're definitely advancing nicely with flower sites getting bigger daily it seems. No big issues that I can see besides the fading in the leaves which this far into flower is expected. All in all Happy Growing.

As you can see I chopped both Gorilla Cookies. The humidity in the tent got a bit too high and I didn’t want to provoke mold. So I decided to chop and trichomes were looking good. I absolutely love their smell. Especially freshly after chop it smells like chocolate cookies. I will update with final results once both are dried and cured. The Mango smile does now have enough space and light to ripen and produce some nice buds. The smell was first really like mango but over the last week it changed more into a bit more cheesy direction. I’ve got some problems with lightburn / bleaching on the upper growth as she got too tall and I cant move the lights further up. But so far nothing too bad I guess. Despite that she is looking great and I can‘t wait to see how she will look like in a few weeks.
