Barneys Farm Cookies Kush Organic soil Grow Diary Update 16th Feb 2020 Well the stretch has definately started and there are visible pistils showing at the nodes so my girls are Flowering!! Yay Both Girls are looking good although plant 1 has distinct red leaf stems that I am not sure about. It could be a deficiency or phenotype trait?? Feeds this week were as follows Day 1 Superthrive using the 1ml/3Litres ratio I made up 10L and gave the plants 5 each. Day 2 Nothing at all Day 3 Water only Day 4 Nothing at all Day 5 Water only Day 6 Seaweed solution and mycorrhizae Day 7 (yesterday) water with a tiny amount of liquid potash Also yesterday I posted a question regarding whether or not I should repot the girls before they grow any further. Well the general consensus was to go ahead and Transplant them so in the cool of the evening I went ahead and moved them both into bigger pots. I used all of the left over super soil from my auto grows earlier this year. Plant 1 got moved into a 75 Litre grow bag and plant 2 went into a 40L standard garden pot. So that means plant 1 is in a container almost 4 times the size of the one it was in whilst plant 2 is now in a pot twice the volume of the original container. I chose plant 1 for the bigger pot simply because the roots were definately starting to become rootbound in the smaller pot. Hopefully the extra room may lead to a better outcome (ie yield) Thanks for checking out my update and also thanks to all who provided input to my question yesterday. She started out as the most vigorous grower, but may have been too quick for her own good. She began having deficiencies early on which were easy to address, but they came back intermittently. Ultimately she didn’t thicken up quite as much as I would have liked, but the trichome coverage is much higher than the Sour Kush.

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Are you seeing what I'm seeing? HUGE difference from last week, buds are really filling in and taking shape. Already nice and hard. Trichomes are starting to coat the fan leaves, this one is going to be frosty!! 😍 I'll have to take a look at my dehumidifies, RH is climbing to 55% at moments and in these final week I don't want them to go over 45-50% Wish you were smelling what I'm smelling though!! 😍😍 MY OH MY!!!! The smell is aaaamazing!! They're giving my beloved Cream Caramel a run for best aroma in the tent but that Cream Caramel is tooo sweet! 😋 While they're both doing great, the one I defoliated just a little too much doesn't have as big buds.. That shows you, when defoliating it's best to leave some behind for later because once you cut those leaves you can't place them back. Some decisions you just have to live with. Real life lessons when you grow, that is if you're paying attention. 😉 I'll be adding an organic PK booster next week to give that extra boom in bloom. 👊💪 Pictures were taken on day 27 of flower. Final week of veg. Seems like a lot went on. As you can see, the canopy is virtual all even. The branches that were tied down 3 weeks ago were allowed to let go and reach for the light. In contrast, the taller and much stronger branches now became tied down. This took some work - these branches are thick and sturdy - pulling on them too much I am afraid will detach them from the trunk. That happened to the Gelato. It took a little bit of repositioning the wire garden ties everyday to achieve this. I'm happy to send them into flower like this. Speaking of Gelato. Her soil has been hot from the beginning. She has shown signs of high nitrogen levels and the run off from the pot is never clear. I purposely held off from feeding her nutrients bc of this, until this week. A day after feeding veg nutrients at 50% strength, there was yellow-browning and burning new growth leaf tips. This occurred for about 24 hrs on a few leaves then did not get worse. Next watering cycle will get only cal mag. Of note, the pH of any liquid going into Gelato has been consistently at 6.5. A few notes about the environmental conditions. According to VPD charts, the temperature / relative humidity ratio has not been ideal for vegetation. What would have improved the environment would have been the addition of a humidifier to reach about 60% RH at temps around 65 degrees F. Now, we are on to flower...

Week 9 flower is coming to an end and the OG Kush still has about a week to go. I thought this seed was a dud, but I think it’s gonna be my best! The heads are mostly cloudy, no amber. Flowers seem hard and dense. Stripped most the large leaves that I could easily get at and just watering still letting the soil stay a bit on the dryer side, but consistent. Steadily lowering the humidity the best I can and manage, but it’s a bit difficult as I took down the humidifier to clean and get ready for harvest and got the dehumidifier going, but got another cold snap coming through and it’s dry outside and the house heat is running, don’t have a clean filter for the humidifier now, trying to get it right, right to the end, but Mother Nature is making my unnatural grow difficult lol. Week 8: She just keeps growing!!! I trained this into two main tops and it really decided that it would use all of that space. The smells coming off htis lady have me drooling. It is 2nd most sweet and fruity boquet I have ever smelled.(Cherry Sumo was #1) Really excited for this lady to come down.

This has by far been the most stressful part of the grow. as I'm trying to increase yield as much as possible, and in doing so f£&ked around and found out the hard way. She has gone into what I would say is severe shock this on the 31/1/25 will be the 3rd day of shock hopefully she can pull through and start growing again 🙏 🤞

Last full week till Harvest,plants are very solid and smell so fruity😍. Can't wait till next cycle to do better! NOTE: I usually start counting days from the first couple of serrated leaves

Fed and defoliated to start week 7. The plant looks good, the buds are on point, frosty, sticky and look as expected at this stage of the grow.
