Such a lovely plant. Very satisfying to grow. She smells very fruity with a little sour. Checked her trichomes under the microscope and I’m still seeing about 25% clear with some amber and the rest milky. She’s slowing down her metabolism now, not drinking as much. Putting out fewer new pistils. We’re in the home stretch, no idea if that is 2 weeks or 4, but based on the slowing of her metabolism. I’d say she’ll be done within 3 weeks. If you’re watching my video, that’s vintage 1988, Wild Wild West, by The Escape Club (a UK band). The song topped the US charts in November of 88. The band never topped the UK charts.

The bud rot has officially gone, so what I have left will survive, yay!! Anyway, its been an easy week... much more fun when you are in full control of the environment. Everything dried in about 7 days and burped 3 times a day for 8 days 19mins at a time. Trust me the longer you wait the better it smells. Makes wonderful wax and rso.

Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Quite week for the plants and us. It's above freezing now, but it's one storm after another here. The plants are dong well and I'll turn over to flowering next week. I'll make clones at that time. I'm after the best plant so I'll whittle the 14 plants down to 1 or 2 plants when I'm done. But I have to take 3 clones of each to be sure I get 1 to regrow when it's done. So I'll be doing that this week. My next trim/prune will be before the 3 week of flowering, before the resin starts to flow. Through this veg I've been giving a full feeding and then just watering and then a full feeding and then just watering.... You get the idea... I let the pots dry and hopefully water/feed before I get any wilting. We've started a new Freak Bros. book. Comic Book #10 Published in 1987. It's the 3rd in the trilogy. You'll find the first 2 comic books in the story in other diaries. Have a look around in my other diaries and you'll find them. OK. Have fun out there. Chuck

I love organic growing.

The plant in the front is showing some sort of stress symptoms. All corners of all leaves are bend upwards. Generally also very interesting to see how different the phenotypes are of the two seeds. I have been feeding as recommended but havent been able to check the EC of the runoff as my meter hasnt arrived yet. So might be to do with the nutrients, maybe light or heat stress. As it is summer right now the temperatures have been quite challenging high

Starting from this week I will only use BioBOOST additive because I think that I could have an over K amount in my soil. I defoliated just a little tiny bit to expose even more the buds to the light. The resin is starting to increase considerably and the smell is following with berry and citrus notes gnam gnam 😵 I did not know that Sativa strain has less compact buds through the stalks so I was a little bit worried about it but I think is fine. Let me know guys what do you think, any SUGGESTION is gladly appreciated.🙏 Keep growing! The green revolution has started.💪

And we have arrived at the magic moment for our autoflowering plants, the Zamnesia elves are working their magic and the buds are composing and freezing in the night. A scent of paradise now invades my house. --- This time as often happens lately we have to take our hats off and make a big bow to the Zamnesia breeders: this strain is a great success. I have two superfast plants, one of which I could harvest today on day 52 but I'm waiting until day 60 out of shame for doing it too early. Going to yield POUNDs off this girl!! 12/19/23-- Update: Shogun is a big girl- for an INDOOR grow!. She's 3ft tall, and still shows vertical growth! Considering I did not veg long. Shogun popped up out of soil on Oct 4th 2023, and she was switched to flower same day & time as my Royal Dwarf (aka Itty-Bitty) they've both been on 12/12 for over a month now. Itty-Bittyis an Autoflower, and Shogun is a photoperiod. I can see now the difference between Autos& fotos in growth &bud development, Shoguns trichomes have not appeared yet! She's definitely going to be in the flower stage for a few more weeks, perhaps another month? As I said She's in middle of flowering and still showing vertical growth, and to measure HER I use a yard stick now lol I think she's my favorite, along with the Cookies gelato (but don't tell my other plants!)

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Flower stretch and bud sites are setting. Lots of tops from the lst. Fingers crossed.
