What a great week it’s been!today is day 65 from seed!! One of the Forbiddin Runtz got it’s last feeding on Friday and will get flushed for 2 weeks and will be ready for dry and cure! The rest will still remain getting same dose of nutes the rest of this week and most likely into the next! This batch felt like it went so quick ! Hope you all enjoy an watch out for next week !

Week 2: Light Struggles, First Adjustments & the Patience Test Update: 14.03.25 Good morning, grow fam! Week 2 of my photoperiod journey is running – a mix of challenges and small wins. Here’s a look at the early days of my Blueberry and Durban Poison seedlings. Current Observations: Light Deficiency & Stretching Stems The first days post-germination were intense: The seedlings developed extremely long, thin stems (check the photos!), a clear sign of insufficient light. Since I’m intentionally avoiding extra lighting to save resources, I had to improvise: - Tray Rotation: I rotate the seedling tray multiple times a day to ensure even exposure to the weak March sunlight. - DIY Support: For the most stretched seedlings, a bent wire acts as a crutch to prevent them from collapsing. Interestingly, the tomato and cucumber plants in the same tray show no issues – their stems stay compact. Seems like veggies are better adapted to low-light conditions than cannabis! Nutrients & Alfa Boost: An Experiment Even though my Biobizz Lightmix should provide enough nutrients for the first weeks, I tested a sample of Alfa Boost (freebie from the grow shop) during watering. The product claims to boost roots and stress resistance – perfect for my light-stressed babies. So far, no negative reactions, but no explosive growth either. Slow Growth – No Cause for Concern The plants are growing just millimeters per day, but that’s okay. My focus is on building sturdy, resilient plants, not speed. Once days get longer and sunnier, growth should pick up. They’ll stay indoors until mid-May anyway – plenty of time to bulk up. Next Steps & Tweaks - Transplanting in 1–2 Weeks: Once the first true leaf pairs emerge, they’ll move to small pots with my Biobizz All-Mix blend. - First Topping Soon: Once the plants hit 4–5 nodes, I’ll top them to encourage bushier growth. Week 2 Takeaway: Patience is key! Even in suboptimal conditions, I trust Dutch Passion’s resilient genetics. Fingers crossed for greener progress next week. Welcome back to another week, finally decided to flip to flower as these girls do grow pretty quickly in DWC. Aiming for some nice quality buds bit also a decent yield of at least 1 gram per watt of light. Nutrient solution has not been changing to complete flower schedule yet but I will be sure to switch it over in a few days. The crucial part now is keeping the EC and pH in a good range to avoid any deficiencies or Nutrient lock out. Let's see what the stretch brings the first few weeks. Stay tuned, and I'll be back for the by the end of the week to report some video feedback. End of the week has ending with a heavy defoliation session. Plants were getting bushy and covering potential tops so that needed to be addressed. For now, it will be selective defoliation once they have recovered, which should be in 2/3 days. She's chunking up so much and just continues to get smellier and smellier! This plant's been getting compost tea and overdrive/ph perfect bloom only until end of this week, then I'll begin flush!

4/9: Frost really coming in and she’s getting funky 4/10: I opened her up a little with HST and bamboo stick tie-downs to hit the center, fed her going to check in again in 2 days to see the progress. 4/12: My spreading her open I did a few days ago actually did help the center out and will pay off in the long run. She’s getting sticky and the calyxes are swelling up. The buds haven’t really fattened up in the last few days just got bigger length wise. 4/13: I might have fucked around and made her herm on me....I gonna wait and see what happens the next few days/weeks

Week 2: Both plants are currently in a 4-litre pot. The substrate consists of 40 % coconut fibres and 60 % BioBizz All Mix. I have also added 3 g/L Greenhouse BioGrow and 0.5 g/L BioEnhancer to optimise the nutrient supply. Both plants appear vital and healthy overall. However, plant #2 continues to show deformed leaves. I assume that this is due to a genetic defect that unfortunately cannot be corrected. Light Power 40% (76W)

Secondo week of flower, Mimosas stretched pleasantly less than I expected and they already started to stack buds. Peyote critical seems to be stretching quite well and evenly and despite its indica dominant genetic it seems to be a little slower than the mimosas (sativa dominant)

Same old, same old.. despite the hot weather and my messiness, i think we are in a slow but good way.. Added 1ml of bio bloom, same schedule.
