After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). Welcome back in the 8th week of flowering with Dutch Passion’s Brooklyn Sunrise. The one in the front is ripening good, buds are rock solid and covered in trichomes, such a beauty. The smell is surprising, in the first weeks flowering she had more of a diesel kind of smell but it turned its self totally around, the smell reminds me of sour candy, an extremely sweet smell which I didn’t expect but its even better than I expected. Last Sunday I gave the one in the front her the last bits of nutrients, so this week is flushing till Sunday, Sunday will be harvest day!! I noticed that since last weeks some leaves and buds are turning purple, I didn’t even know these have purple in them as well of all the journals that I checked out to see what was up with this strain and what to expect, not a single one had purple in them so I guess I have had a different pheno. Such a beauty to see with all the colors. Cant wait to have a taste! After the one in the front is cut down ill let the other 2 stay in there with the other 2 Cookies for at least 1 week maybe 2 but im not sure. My next grow will take place first or second week of December, in the meantime I will chooce a new strain to grow and prepare the next grow. This time I will perfom my first real ScrOG and combine it with the airdome underneath my pot (they say you can improves your yield by 20-30%). Week is going pretty good. Seeing more and more pistils everyday. Starting to see a little deficiency. Maybe potassium. Seeing little brown spots on some older leaves. I upped the tiger bloom a little to try and correct it. Today I’m seeing more brown spots on newer leaves. After more research I am thinking this is actually a calcium deficiency. Haven’t been giving as much calcium due to giving too much cal-mag in my last grow. 8/7 Put pot in a homemade basket with stakes to spread all the branches out to allow plenty of airflow throughout the plant.

9/10 Went and shook the plants off. I don't think it rained. I think it's just dew. Plants with ailments seem to be progressing well and it looks like they'll outrun the pathogens. It may not be a banner year yield wise but the quality will be great it looks like. GMO is stacking up real nice. The ones in further flower are swelling more and more everyday. Earwigs MAY be back because I noticed a couple of plants where I left a tiny little branch on the bottom have been lollipopped on tje sherb pie and rather quickly too. I suppose it could be leaves dieing and rotting bit I doubt it. If they are here there aren't many and most plants are too far in flower for them to bother. They eat the lower newly developing shoots. Not big dense buds. Luckily. I noticed some pm on the gmo with pm. Looks like it's time for another treatment of k bicarb. I'll probably do that tonight. Mixed water for this morning last night. WATERED AND FED EVERYTHING (BUT TOASTED TOFFY AND EVENT HORIZON #2 DUE TO THEM BEING CHOPPED SOON.) Everything got a gallon of water and a qtr of food. I had to cut a couple small interior secondary branches on my shottiest GMO due to the appearance of grey mold. I also found some botrytis in both the event horizon and toasted toffy that I plan to take the tops of today. I scoped them and I'm planning to do a staged harvest. Trichs are milky with some amber. Everything is blowing up! I'm not sure what's happening but like it previous years there's a couple plants with leaves dieing near bud sites and an overall yellow appearance. Maybe it's late stage septoria. I cant isolate it due to local laws but if I have to I'll deal with it. Nothing else had anything like that. I hace noticed SOMETHING nocturnal that can eat a small branch and leave it bare. Also eat the small newly forming shoots at the bottom of plants. I shouldve taken off ALL the larfy stuff as it draws bugs but I did things a like different with each plant this year. I'm going to go through the plants again today and I'll update what I decide. Chances are the top half of those two plants are coming down. I'll do a video. 9/15 I'll have to add pics and videos tomorrow. Last night I did a final check of the trichs on event horizon #2 and toasted toffy. Everything looked great so I proceeded to do a "wet trim" outside (ill use the leaf blower to clean up) and cut the tops off the plant. I know this injures tje plant but it also makes them go crazy thinking they are dying and the buds and trichs swell. I had one plant last year I got two harvests off and a bunch of fresh frozen for concentrates. I looked this morning and I madecthe right decision. These plants are DONE. I've got another event horizon but it's not quite there yet. I'm going to leave it as long as I can. If the injured plants pick up pm or something (already had septoria) then the flower will be used for extracts or I'll do a Cervantes wash. I imagine concentrates though. One GMO isn't doing as good as the rest. Yesterday I had to cut three branches off due to grey mold on the stalk. If laws allowed it I'd isolate that plant. Luckily since I spend so much time going through the garden I'm able to find this kind of stuff. The GMO'S look wonderful (even the one with some yellow leaves that I cut the branches off) . K bicarb has kept pm at bay so far. This strain has TONS of trichs. It's like trich on trich on trich. I can't wait to try it. It smells amazing. Sherb pie is completely purple with rock hard buds that smell amazing. It's quality over quantity this year. The big one in the 50 (I think red runtz) is swelling more everyday. It went from NO buds to having little purple calyxes to flowers that look like cat-tails! I can't wait to see what rhis year brings. Once I get things dry and manicured I'll give you guys a look at how the first stage of the first harvest went. I'm super happy. Spent a large part of this morning shaking plants by handcand removing any dead leaves or anything that could cause rot then I went over them with a leaf blower. I'll need to water tonight I imagine. WATERED AROUND 3:00 PM. MY FAVORITE GMO STARTED DROPPING. WATERED EVERYTHING A GALLON EXCEPT I SPLIT ONE GALLON ON THE PLANTS THAT HAD BEEN CUT. IM EXTREMELY TIRED BUT I NEED TO GO OUT AT NIGHT AND SEE IF I CAN FIND EARWIGS CRAWLING UP THE STALKS. WEATHER STILL LOOKS GOOD. BUDS SWELLING PISTOLS RETRACTING AND MORE AND MORE LEAVES DYING. I CANT BELIEVE THE SIZE OF THAT SATIVA LEANING HYBRID IN THE TEN!

22 Enero(F55): Solo queda una semana para terminar el cultivo, en estos últimos días se está usando Fade de Athena Nutrients, para ayudar con la maduración y mejorar sabores y olores. La luz de los LED se bajó a un 50% y la temperatura del agua de riego también se disminuyó. Los olores están demasiado potentes, tuve que poner filtro de carbono. Los últimos 4 días se regará solo con agua de osmosis + Cleanse.

I’m adding a timer to my exhaust fan so it won’t be running 24/7 I’ll set it to exhaust the dry room every 3 hours for a half hr. I have my dehumidifier running in there so it’s not going to get above the set level. My only concern is mold, considering I only ever lose a few grams each harvest from mold I figure I should be safe if my humidity stays under 50 from here on. Would have went a lot smoother if everything was done the same day because the humidity would gradually go down on its own while the buds dry out however I have been adding plants as they finish causing timing to be off. Would have liked to just check them every few days. Now I’ll have to check them daily knowing some will be dry before others. Bright side is that gives me a break from trimming. It’s only me trimming so it’s going to take me a while. Roughly 25 plants each with a few ounces so I hope it’s only around 2000 grams to trim by myself

Day 19-26 (May 10th - May 17th) (Day 21) Stretch is almost over and the plants still look like they’re in veg. I’m seeing almost zero trichomes and when compared to my other room it’s laughable. At least the sites are starting to fill in a little. One plant is super leggy and stretchy. I’m guessing it’s Jack Herer but won’t know until late flower or harvest. The plant in the far left corner has great structure and thick pistil clumps. I’m guessing it’s either blueberry or the white og. Blueberry has a pretty distinct smell so differentiating all the strains won’t be that hard actually. (Day 24) I’ve been rearranging the plants once in a while just to get all sides exposed to some decent light. I never realized how much I value my LED until this run. The only way I would ever use another hps for flower is if it was one of those 1000w DE lights that all the commercial grows use. Sites are starting to fill in quite a bit now. Trichomes are still non existent though. Even on the archive genetics which is really surprising. (Day 25) Pots somewhat dried out finally. Tomorrow I’m going to leach everything with another 2 liters each and top dress with 15ml of nature’s pride bloom, 10ml of Destiny launch and 5ml of kelp meal. I’m starting to see minor N tox on some of the plants so I will probably give them a full gallon. This tent is largely experimental so I’m going to fuck with these plants pretty heavy to iron out some theories and try some new techniques. (Day 26) When I was watering today I noticed that slurricane, Puro loco and guava cake all hermed. The archives just got too stressed out in early veg I think. When I dug up both plants they were still being choked out by the sponge aerogarden plugs. Puro Loco was leading by far in the trichome department too. The guava cake was from a hermed bagseed so it’s not surprising at all but that kind of pisses me off about the “elite” Archive genetics, especially if you paid 200$ for a 10 pack. Then again, it was still my error and not their genetics. Luckily I didn’t pay a dime for them. Running those was a complete waste of time and space. With proper environment and no seedling stress I’m sure I could have grown some amazing looking stuff. All the European and Canadian genes look fine though. I’m sure they would have filled out a lot more if they weren’t being choked out by hermies. No signs of bananas anywhere else. Hopefully the 4 slurricanes I have outdoor this year will pull through without herming.

I started flushing tham a few days ago, gonna let em go one more week before I harvest. This grow has gone on alot longer than I expected it would and I'm ready to smoke these bad girls already lol.

8/17 Week 5 Flipping Lights set to 11-13 for the first few days then 12-12 Nuets will transition accordingly Reducing feeds to once a day during the switch Intro Cocotek Bloom a/b at 5ml/gal each Reduce Grow to 10ml/g each Next feed half and half 8/19 Switching to 12-12 from 11-13 think its done its work changes are afoot 8/20 Colas forming quickly may have to flip the week to Flower, lets hope so 😉 They getting a dose of Kangaroots 5ml/g and Fish Shit 2ml/g at intervals during transition purely as plants seem to need. So we are 8 weeks +1 day here now, around 8 days into flush and 6 days away from chop. I’m guna cut these at 9weeks so they will probably get another 2/3 heavy waters and then 48hours of darkness. Really starting to pack on weight now I had to support all branches as much as I could with bamboo and garden ties. I sampled a bud I took when I first started flush at around 7 weeks and it was so smooth and creamy. Real nice fruity and zesty taste to it. Smelled of fresh lemons with a hint of grapefruit. High wasn’t heavy as expected being so early but certainly felt a relaxation effect 1 hour after smoke so really excited for finished product. Just counting down the days now!!
