9/20 Man I've been busy. I'm sick too. Looking back at my diaries I get sick this time of year every year it seems. Once I get the important stuff done I'll put some pictures of finished product up. Sunny today and windy as hell. All the plants left seem to be doing good and look like they'll finish. The pink kush might not finish how I WANT but it's stinky and has lots of milky trichs. I'm playing with fire with this mk ultra. It's fucking done. It could get a LITTLE more amber and maybe come together a bit more but I don't know if it's smart to risk it. Frost warning in effect tonight. I'll probably check the forecast and harvest tomorrow. We're having some good weather just cold nights. Then it turns to like a 30% chance of rain for 4 or 5 days. I'll yank it before that. This actually turned out tp be a pretty good year. Haven't tested everything (especially shit in the ground) but what I have sampled I'm incredible happy with.
9/21 IT was a balmy 36° on my way to the garden. My windshield had frost on it. Surprisingly the TIGHT nugs of the pink kush and this phenome of 10th planet didn't seem to mind it. Both strains are still increasing in size, smell and trich development. Not just changing but adding more. Trichs on trichs. Very in hospital environment. It will be interesting to see what happens with these girls. We will be getting some rain. I mean we've had SOME but I mean real rain. If thays the case I'll put these in the garage for a little bit. Honestly I thought these would be goners. I've gotta get to work trimming bucking and manicuring flower. Doing a garden like this sure is an awful lot of work. But the reward is worth every penny. WATERED EVERYTHING LEFT A HALG GALLON APIECE. PROBABLY SHOULDVE GAVE A GALLON BUT THEY WERE STILL A LITTLE HEAVY.
9/22 It rained last night and we got another frost. HAD to cut a main branch of the tenth planet as it had stem rot. Lots more cold weather coming. If I could get it done and I wasnt sick and have all this other material to process I would probably pull then. It's getting really cold. We're going to be getting rain. I'll check the weather and hopfully I can just put the movable ones in the garage. Either way things will work out. Pictures that will be coming will be of the finished product!
9/23 Had a super busy day. Had to but a branch off the pink kush due to stem rot. If I had time I would've taken it. It rained today but I think the plants will be alright. I've been working non stop. I may not have the quantity I'm used too but the quality is AMAZING. I can't wait to do the smoke points and put up finished flower. The other 10th planet seems to be doing really well. I expected nothing off that. I'll keep it updated but it's hard with everything going on.
9/24 Had more emergencies. Raining and cold. Finding stem rot a boytritus but not much. We are getting an inch of rain tomorrow and rain the next day. I wasn't going to watch my shit rot as it was hard as hell and all milky so I quickly waited for a break in the rain and harvested two pink kushes. Still have one pink kush in the 50 and the 10th planet. I cut a cola off 10th planet just in case. This should've been done yesterday but it is what it is. Even with ALL the damage this had been a pretty good year. I can't believe the quality of....well....everything lol. A couple take the cake but I'll wait to do that. I gotta get back to work.
9/25 Heavy rains today and tomorrow. After seeing the damage on the 10th planet and the stripped branches and dying leaves I took out the loupe and checked the trichs. It was a rare break in rain and the plant was luckily dry. After seeing the pistols change on many buds to pure red and seeing lots of cloudy trichomes abd swollen buds I was able to harvest it. I have one pink kush left that sea7s like a willow. I probably should've taken that by looking at it but the trichs had some clear on it. Lots of damage this year on all plants but the first special kush. The quality is amazing though. I havent got to try every strain but I am incredibly impressed with what I have so far. I stopped smoking dabs (for now) in favor of switching my different strains up. I hope that every gardener is able to instil there energy in the plant and gets the same feeling that I do because it's wonderful. I will do an independent review of each strain, and keep updated on last pink kush.
9/26 Boy that was a lot of rain. Pulled ONE molded bud off that pink kush. Probably should've left the other 10th planet but I was losing so much to damage that I wanted to cut my losses. Trichs were milky but could've gone longer. My stash this year is potent. I'll have some time soon and I'll do the reports on the others.

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie)
I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor..
but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢
I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍)
The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless..
and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest.
So goodbye breakup cake..😢
who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳)

Rocko's Terp Test featuring: Apokalypse Grow ☀️🔥
Das Wetter bleibt momentan der Chef. Um den sommerlichen Temperaturen entgegenzuwirken, wurde der komplette Lichtzyklus in dieser Woche auf die Nachtstunden von 20:00 bis 08:00 Uhr verlegt. Zusätzlich laufen die beiden XS1500 Pro nur noch mit 40 % Leistung. Ich habe sogar kurz überlegt, den Zyklus auf 21:00 bis 09:00 Uhr zu verschieben, um die größte Nachmittagshitze noch weiter zu umgehen. Vorerst bleibt es aber bei 20:00 bis 08:00 Uhr. In dieser Phase geht es nicht mehr darum, den letzten Ertrag herauszupressen, sondern die Pflanzen möglichst schonend ins Ziel zu bringen. Das Ziel bleibt klar: Fruchtbombe statt Hitzebombe.
Das gesamte System läuft aktuell eher in einer warmen Suppe zwischen 26 und 31 °C, statt wie noch vor einigen Wochen zwischen kühl und heiß zu pendeln. Die Klimadaten lesen sich zunächst kritischer, als die Pflanzen tatsächlich aussehen. Trotz der schwülen Wetterlage zeigen die aktuellen Bilder ein erstaunlich stabiles Bild. Die Pflanzen zehren inzwischen sichtbar aus ihren Blattreserven, ohne dass die Blüten selbst deutliche Anzeichen von Hitzestress zeigen. Angesichts der sommerlichen Temperaturen unter dem Dach sind rund 30 bis 31 °C während der Lichtphase derzeit ein durchaus akzeptabler Kompromiss.
Chicken & Waffles liefert in dieser Woche den wohl spektakulärsten Anblick. Die Zuckerblätter präsentieren sich inzwischen in tiefen Violetttönen bis hin zu nahezu Schwarz und zeigen stellenweise bordeauxfarbene Nuancen, die sich auf Fotos nur schwer einfangen lassen. Zusammen mit der massiven Harzschicht wirkt die Pflanze beinahe eingefroren. Die Spitze erinnert an mehrere kleine Zwiebelkirchtürme. Mit ihren organischen, leicht verdrehten Formen wirkt sie fast wie ein Bauwerk, das einem Hundertwasser-Entwurf entsprungen sein könnte. So eine Optik hatte ich bisher noch in keinem Grow.
Fruit Bomb Punch zeigt in dieser Woche eindrucksvoll, welchen Einfluss das Training auf ihren Wuchs hatte. Durch das wiederholte Herunterclipsen während des Stretchs konnte sich keine klassische Hauptcola entwickeln. Stattdessen bildet die Topblüte aus der Draufsicht einen regelrechten Fünfender mit nahezu gleich hohen Spitzen. Von der Seite wirkt derselbe Bereich dagegen wie ein schlanker Turm aus übereinander gestapelten Blütensegmenten. Die übrigen, weniger beeinflussten Seitentriebe zeigen dagegen die sortentypische Blütenstruktur und machen den Einfluss des Trainings besonders deutlich.
Strawberry AK bleibt ihrer Linie treu. Die klassische Kerzenform mit ihrer markanten Hauptcola ist bis heute erhalten geblieben. Gleichzeitig zeigt sie den deutlichsten Herbst-Fade und verwertet konsequent die letzten Reserven aus ihren Fächerblättern.
Auch bei den Trichomen zeigen sich inzwischen Unterschiede. Chicken & Waffles liegt aktuell leicht vorn, Strawberry AK folgt überraschend dicht dahinter. Fruit Bomb Punch beginnt dagegen gerade erst sichtbar einzutrüben. Ob sie in der kommenden Woche aufschließen kann, werden die nächsten Makroaufnahmen zeigen.
Am Ende entscheidet das Glas. 🍯🌱

runoff ppm was 2500+...
Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input.

Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff...
Runoff ppm is still very high...
I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe.
Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop.
One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites,
One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk,
One is about in the middle of the 2.

one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar...
gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...

I had to transfer to the bigger pots the week. There was a lot of stretch in the cups and they were falling over. so will see how it goes this week. Coco with the Azomite and a little clone x myco powder at the root base, Just a baby feeding 1 mil/gal of the three part Emerald Harvest and Cal Mag in a 5 gallon bottle. PH at 6.1, then another 5 gallons of plain PH 6.2 water no food to get run off from the pots. The runoff was PH 5.8 so in happy with that. I got the time-lapse running so I will post it at the end of each week moving in to the next one. waiting on a green filter for the camera to help adjust the color so everything will not look blurpule. Yet another beautiful creation from Humboldt Seed Company. Huge trichome heads, amazing, complex aroma.

Didnt cut the whole plant but im going to jus us the rest to make butter. 7.69 Oz not bad for my first trellis. Learned a lot plenty of improvements can be made I'm thinking I gone have to run this back. I took clones so hopefully I can make the necessary improvements to grow the plant to it full potential. Buds are not the biggest but they are very dense. The smell is great smells like fruit with a hit of old gym socks.

Most phenos were on the bubba kush side with loud pine, mint and sour lemon og terps and a couple sweet pine & mint. Two were sour diesel terps with an og pine & mint undertone. Have yet to sample while they cure but look all indica

Girls are growing and growing , gave them another trim as they seem to bounce back 10x harder and bushier lol! Starting to think there may be one to many girls in there so hoping everything stays on track or I'm going to need to upgrade their house! Still unsure on doing a sog or using it as a spacer , sorry about the double photos on both diaries , one of the granddaddy purple plants somehow ended up at the back of the tent when one of the super skunk started tailing off and we had to rearrange their place in the tent , not much to report flowers are coming through nicely 😁

They always look sad when topped, but she is a fast grower, I thinking if she responds well I'll flip into flowering next week, cause I got two rooted clones and 4 more started.

Finally the time has come .
The lady was harvested.
After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand.
After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets.
There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs.
After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-).
As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil.
Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process.

Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it.
Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances.
I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress.
When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+-
The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches.
The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like.
Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment.
Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough.
5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated.

Sapphire scout og bred by Humbold this phenotype surprise me a lot, frosty resins the amazing bud shape and dense. Intense flavor and aroma of pines,flower.
Sadly humboldt not available in seedcity now so I purchase ripper seed to grow next season instead. Enjoy growing mate🎉

MOBY DICK from BARNEY'S FARM
"Bedroom setup"
10th week of flowering from 12.1.2026. to 18.1.2026.
but content of pictures is from 12.1.2026. to 22.1.2026.
Harvest week :) also drying days included.
Harvest was done after 4 days of darkness (15.1.2025.)
i did heavy wet trim and let them hang for few days
before puting them in nets, after some days in net,
i removed all buds from stems and put all in jars,
will burp them for next few weeks every few days.
Trough drying process(10days) i took 25g for somoking.
and with that included weight of dry bud was 992grams,
also i forgot about first two braches which i removed and smoked
while platns was alive at end of week 9 which was 18g, so all in all around 1kg with 13 plants.
Here with these 13 plants which i had is three phenos,
maybe only two plants was real Moby Dick (pheno no1),
these others (most of them) was mix between G13Haze and WhiteWidow,
with strong domination of WW over the G13Haze (pheno 2),
and one plant was where G13Haze was more dominant over WW (pheno 3).
All buds are dense and rich with trichomes, smell is citrusy and very very strong.
This buds hiting hard, very strong sativa which i rly like :)
Moby Dick was very easy to grow, plants rly liked heavy training,
and once again Barney's Farm genetics did great for me. :)

Got super nice stuff. As rly got eight shooters (110 gr/1plant). Easy to grow, good reaction for scrog, defoliation with big harvest.

Her aroma is suuper citric and strong, beautiful strain to grow and very strong purple color, she's not gonna produce too much but like every girl in my garden she's gonna give top quality purple buds,the flowers are very sticky and frosty, can't wait to try her, she's got the exact same aroma as her sisters. So will see how she ends up performing on this diary peace 🌱💚✌️

Got the Spider Farmer wicking system set up with a reservoir. Up until now I’ve been using purchased pure water since it came with a better starting pH than my tap. After running the numbers, the cost of hauling jugs didn’t make sense long term. I ended up grabbing an RV water inline filter for the garden hose, which strips out most of the chlorine and other contaminants I was worried about.
Goal was mostly a stable water source because the girls are getting thirsty; I still prefer hand-watering to wet and activate the top dress. Access is only from one side of the 5×5, so as they bulk up I’m learning the back two are a chore to reach. The wicking pads help keep things even between rounds, but I’m still going in by hand to finish the job.
Did a defoliation pass; airflow and light paths improved, but I may need to push it a bit further because I don’t want a lot of larf. Crazy how much plant material I pulled off but they seem fine. Light feels like the current yield limiter. The SF4000 is solid but a touch undersized for full 5×5 penetration, the lower canopy isn’t getting what I want. I’m eyeing a higher-wattage bar style light for better edge uniformity and deeper PAR at canopy.
I’ve been testing edge light saturation with the SpiderF PPFD sensor at canopy height. Center readings are strong but the corners and long edges are clearly lacking. Smaller tent or smaller plants another option maybe. Im at 100% on my light and will be for the rest of the grow just raising it to keep distance.
Plants look happy overall. The Durban Cookies is standing out, taller and more vigorous than the 10th Planets especially for being a week younger than the rest. I am guessing it will be harvested first just by stretch speed alone. The 10th Planets R1s all have a pretty even canopy going but showing stretch. Wicking system + hand-water combo is keeping the media right where I want it, and the top dress from last week is kicking in.
Reminding everyone this is my first grow. Hoping for a pound dry, but I won’t be greedy. Keeping my expectations realistic! Thanks for following along.
