What’s up, Growmie! 🌱🔥 Since it was getting crowded in the grow space, I defoliated for better ventilation and lighting. I kept it conservative — not more than 10% of the leaf mass. While at it, I kept an eye on future bud sites and rerouted a few twigs with some LST using bonsai wire. Still looking good! 💪 Stats so far: 💧 Watering: 1,5L every other day 💦 Humidity: ~70% RH 🌡️ Temp (lights on): 26–28°C 🌡️ Temp (lights off): 20–22°C 📈 Avg. VPD (lights on): ~1.0 kPa

I really like the colors coming out in these buds. They are getting more purple every day. Looks like they are going to stack up pretty fat too. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.

BAM she has definitely starting growing quite quickly, looking very healthy. Still the biggest of the 4 ladies in the tent. Have been folair feeding bout 45 min after the lights come on, dunno how much its helping but she looks great so its not doing anything bad lol Will be topping her in the next day or two and start setting up my scrog. This round is going to be similar to last. I will have four photo period ladies that I will scrog out a bit, there will also be 5 autos in the tent that will be topped and scrogged to have a nice even canopy in the tent. Havent made up my mind with topping autos yet but it seems to be about the same either way. so i figure with topping i can have more plants with an even canopy.

Harvest Week. I hope all my North American friends had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. I harvested on Tuesday, so due to Thanksgiving prep. I'm late posting the harvest report. Apollo is a wonderful plant to grow. She stayed short. I tried to lst by tying down. Apollo limbs pushed up the pins many times. She is strong and resilient. After watering only 2 liters with Vit B, Recharge and Signal yesterday, I put her in the 3#x3tent in the dark. The leaves were showing the fade using up the nutrients. 11/21 is day Apollo's 71 day and 43 in flower. The harvest window per RQS is 70-75 days from seed. Apollo's buds are thick, dense, stinky citrus floral and sticky. As she hangs to dry, she is pungent and stinky. I am so proud of this grow. I didn't overfeed so I have experienced the color fade to yellow as foods are used up and the delicate colors emerge in the sugar leaves. I am very impressed with Royal Queen Seeds F1 genetics. So much so I bought Milky Way F1 and Medusa F1. I will definitely have another Apollo grow in January. Thank you @James at RQS. After hanging to dry 13 days and a little bit more trim, Smokable bud 128 g or 4,5 oz. Wow this is my best harvest and grow ever. I put her in the jars to cure. Apollo F1 had a huge base stem and was multi branching-even the side stems had side stems. The stems were sturdy. No support is needed for her branches She stayed short at 26 inches tall. I definitely pushed her on the watering. When I saw no runoff after 2.5 liters of water, I upped to 3 ltr. Then 3.5, then 1 gallon. I watered 2 liters, let the water absorb, then slowly add another 2 liters. There was a small amount of run off at the time of watering but was all gone by the next day. It could have been evaporation, but I really think it was consumption. Consumption is an indicator of yield. As densely bushy as she is, I'm estimating at least 90 grams. So for future grows, especially for very bushy plants, I will defoliate at least 2x during early and midflower to open up the canopy and let the plants bulk up more. She did show some nutrient (cal-mag) deficiency and for the next Apollo grow, I will push the feed a bit. I'm excited and a bit sad to see this grow come to an end at the same time. I really want to sample the smoke and feel the effect. Apollo is a balanced Hybrid. Thanks for the visit. Apollo and I appreciate the likes, views and comments. Be sure to check out my Recipe diary for some tasty edibles, basic infused sugar, butter, honey recipes to kickoff your edible making experience. Also some health and beauty recipes as well. Have wonderful week. Happy growing and have fun. Natrona ******************************** Apollo F1 is a vigorous auto flowering hybrid that boasts a strong structure and delicious aromas. Created from inbred lines descending from Lemon, Black Domina, and Sugar Magnolia, Apollo F1 inherited premium genetics from her predecessors. Like the ancient Greek deity she's named after, Apollo F1 produces balanced, creative effects that might inspire your perception of music, dance, poetry, and more! Mature and well-dried Apollo F1 flowers boast an upfront fresh aroma that combines crisp pine and herbal notes with the invigorating kick of ripe citrus peels. Accentuating these notes is a rich backdrop of dark vanilla and hints of lavender, reminiscent of modern cannabis varieties descending from Cookies and other US lineages. Apollo F1 produces a resin loaded with plenty of cannabinoids (predominantly THC) and a complex mix of terpenes including myrcene, terpinolene, farnesene, caryophyllene, ocimene, limonene, and linalool. As a result, Apollo F1 produces a balanced effect very typical of a well-bred hybrid—expect a powerfully relaxing physical sensation (characteristic of myrcene, farnesene, and linalool) mixed with a notable euphoria and motivating kick produced by terpinolene, ocimene, and limonene. Apollo F1 is a robust cultivar with the telltale compact structure of an indica-dominant hybrid. Plants reach a medium height with many tightly spaced branches that quickly become loaded with bud sites and thick, dark-green foliage. Apollo F1 flowers automatically, and her entire life cycle lasts roughly 80 days. Come harvest time, Apollo F1 will reward you with big, dense flowers bearing a thick layer of trichomes. 9/17 Didn't know this was a new week or I would've taken more pictures. I'm glad I took those two plants. As it dries and I start to trim I could see where it could've turned to rot real easy. It rained enough last night to soak all the girls. The two bottoms I harvest look like the have pm on them. If so I'll wash it or through it in the concentrate bag. Found a few colas a dropped which will go in the concentrate bag. Scoping the toasted toffy and the event horizon and the both look AMAZING! I've scoped the others and I'm extremely impressed. They may be difficult to grow strains but they have high cannabinoid content. The sherb cream pie has really come to life and turned totally purple with beautiful flowers. The girl in the 50 has several soda can sized buds. I hope this weather holds up. I don't like flowers this size getting wet. The sativa leaning hydrid us the only one I may have trouble with. It's only in a 10 gal but it's enormous! If needed I coyld bring it inside at night. The buds look like cat tails. I'm used to growing indica dominant strains. Plant us super healthy though. I'll be intrigued jail for a while and I've gotta make contact with whoever is going to do my extracts. I'll keep this updated. It's a lot of work bur it's worth it. 9/18 WATERED EVERYTHING I GALLON BUT THE BOTTOMS OF THE 2ND EV AND THE TT WHICH EACH GOT A HALF. Since harvest I've noticed some pm spring up on the toasted toffy. Looking at the other event horizon through a scope the trichs are all milky with some amber. I'm just waiting for A LITTLE more amber. And for me to have time and or room. I decided to harvest the tops and majority of one of my event horizon and toasted toffy. Today during an inspection I found a couple grey mold branches and some botrytis on my big GMO on the back. This plant is done. It's by far the furyhest ahead. Septoria effected the yield a little but pistols were retracted and amber was at like 10%. I thought about it and I watched the plant next to it with the pm have a branch I supported just "slough off". Right in my face. I figured if there was a sign tjis was it. I cut that rot off and put the buds from the branch in a bag and froze them then I went around and harvested the limbs on the other plant that were furyhest along. I took about half of it. I could've taken more and maybe I should've but I'm tired. I also noticed a couple spots of grey mold on the plant in the 50. All the leaves were falling off. I finally scoped it and it was right whetr I wanted it to be. Looking at the colors I'm glad I spent so much time the past few days. That one I hung whole. The sherb cream pie has something eating the fresy shoots (probably ear wigs. But the buds are fattening and the trichs aren't quite there. I'm going to let the rest of this stuff go ad long as possible. With the exception of the other event horizon. I finally tried it. It's fucking killer. I could take that plant now. The only reason I'm not is because I have to much work on my husband's as is. I'll do some videos amd pictures but I'm tired as fuck. Got to try event horizon. Very fucking impressed! 9/19 The past 3 days I've been working 5 a.m. to dark. I went back and harvested the bottoms of the toasted toffy and event horizon 1. After injury from harvest they contracted wpm. I used this as a learning experience and put some away in the freezer for concentrates and used a peroxide and water bucket. That's what kills the p.m. anyway. I hung them and they spun in the wind. I blew them lightly with a leaf blower before putting them ok strings I had previously setup with a fan in front of it. I kicked ass today. Toasted toffy got sampled and did NOT disappoint. I had it in a jar though and it was green so I'm not counting this. I do have some dry. I have indoor left too. Like in the video that one GMO looks like it's fucking dying or something. I'd rather cut it and use it for concentrates if it effects my healthy plants. I just checked on that plant in the 50 I hung. It looks amazing under the scope and smells better. Decisions, decisions. I do have a few calls I should make sooner rather than later. We are supposed to be getting rain. 9/20 The past 3 days have been hard. The wife's medical stuff is acting up and I had to tend to harvesting a few. My whole body hurts. I even did my first bud wash yesterday! The ev and tt I took and left some buds on ended up covered in pm. So I decided fuck it and tried bud washing. I also froze some for extracts. Speaking of which I need to male contact with whoever I'm going with this year because I think I've reached the point of diminishing returns on that dieing GMO. When it comes to grey mold and botrytis I don't fuck around. Winds are really high today. Putting the scope to the sherb pie is making me second guess myself too. Oh well. It's not going to rain today. And if needed I can move them in the barn. If I get ahold of Mt processor I'll chop that GMO and bring it right there. The other thing is that I've got tons of weed and a lot of its hanging so I've gotta find someone that will do a batch of live rosin then like a elbow of dry. This is the best part of the year. We'll It's supposed to be. Cutting down good plants us bittersweet. I don't mind chopping that one gmo a little early though because it's close to hitting the point of no return. That little sativa dominant hybrid in the ten is HUGE! The buds are swelling like crazy too. It's got a COUPLE septoria spots but this thing is resilient and easy to move around. This will finish perfectly. So far I'm happy with what I have. I'm GRATEFUL. The two September plants I tried were GREAT. A 90/10 and an 80/20 and they both suprised me and got me exactly whete I wanted to be. I'll keep things updated. I did a video I'll upload. 9/21 Weather is still great and the buds don't even seem wet in the morning. The thing is is that something (rot or ear wigs probably both) have stripped lower interior branches. In some cases stripping them ENTIRELY or chewing the stem right off. It wasnt happening to my favorite GMO or the one in the 30 and the like on in the ten. The Sherb pie I noticed grey mold on 3 different branches. Last time I checked trichs it wasn't ready but I've got to get a handle on this mold/pests or it's going to he taken a little early. We have incliment weather coming Wednesday I think. I'll bring the 10 inside and if I have to I'll bring that perfect GMO in as well. I'm going to scope everything again today. I called a bunch of extractors for prices. I was going to do fresh rosin and just yank and drive but that is looking to be harder. I can get badder made CHEAP from a reputable lab. I think I'll do that. They prefer dry and that way I could through what's left from last year in there. I have this other one GMO that I've had the same issues with. I'm sick of removing bud rot or having to cut interior branches off due to pm. Tried toasted toffy and it was fucking amazing. I'm planning on trimmingvthe ev and if I finish I can bring the other one in. It's done. It's not getting any bigger. Trichs aren't changing. That GMO I am going to scope when I get home and it will be coming down in the next couple days. Otherwise I'll end up with half of what's there. The GMO I took the tops from is finishing up too. If I scope that and it looks decent and I have the time I'll take the remainder. I'm leaning towards doing at least a lb dry for extracts. I've got some frozen. I've got some hanging and most is still in the ground. I sleep on all major decisions. However, I know getting my nice buds soaked when I'm already losing shit to budrot and grey mold isn't the smartest thing. I'll probably take what I can and bring the others inside to keep them safe. I didn't think I'd have this much quantity. I knew quality would be good but this isn't a bad year quantity wise either. I'll keep this updated. 9/22 Busy as hell! Rain coming Tuesday. After a final check of the scope and the flowers and I took the GMO that all the leaves had fallen off of. That plant is going straight to extracts with the one in the thirty. I also "finished" harvesting that GMO that was furthest along. Trichs were getting amber. Been in trim jail. Was going to take the Sherb Pie but I'm not seeing amber yet. I did have to cut off some branches that had rotted. I'll keep an eye on it. It will come down when it's ready. It just sucks losing little bits of it. My favorite GMO is sooooo close to perfect. I should just take it but I'll wait. If we get rain I'll bring that and the sativa looking one in the ten is the barn. Back to work now. Before I forget what strain is what lol. 9/23 Still busy as fuck. I chopped the other event horizon amd hung it whole. It's DONE and it doesn't need to go through the rain storm. I also took the majority of the GMO early pheno. What's left will get plucked off and used for extracts. The big one in the 50 is getting dry. I have finished the event horizon and I'm not "finished" with the toasted toffy but I have it in 5 gal buckets with a food grade lid so u can at least cure correctly. The gmo is still hanging. I'm wondering whether I should wait it out or chop. I'm gonna take care of what I have inside first and hope that shit doesn't eat my plants or that it doesn't rot off. That perfect GMO has one branch with some grey mold. I might cut it off. I'll keep this

February 9, 2021 (Week 5, Day 36): Start of week 5 of veg begins with more adjustments to the LST. Tons of stem growth, had to tie down Unknown 1 and Unknown 2's growth. The plants are almost to the outside of their pots, then I'll begin upward growth. Probably in the next few days. Gelato 1 is bushy as hell and just won't stop growing. The stems are massive. The minor nitrogen toxicity in the plants has completely subsided - no more drooping tips. Medium is still wet from yesterday. Lightly tilled the topsoil. Adjusted tent's passive intake and blocked out a heat vent in my grow room to help lower temperatures a bit; last night temperatures dipped another 2℉ further than average during lights out to 68℉. I'm now getting the 10℉ (68℉-78℉) swing I was looking for. Averaging 60% rH and 75℉. No other news today. February 10, 2021 (Week 5, Day 37): Temperature dipped another 2℉ last night to 66℉. I think this new passive intake setup is working great so far. Plants are growing like mad and look perfectly healthy. Last night I went to change the humidifier water and noticed the pre-lights out droop, so they're definitely in the rhythm now. Adjusted LST and further lowered canopy to promote flat and lateral growth. Unknown 1 is already to the outside perimeter of its pot, so it will start growing vertically now. Gelato 1 isn't far behind Unknown 1, another day or so and it will be ready to stretch. Unknown 2 is a little shorter than the other two plants but I think that's just due to the difference in strain at this point. Since it's a little more squat I will let it grow vertically as soon as I let Gelato 1 go. I'll just have to make sure its bud sites are getting appropriate light and air through flower. Medium is still moist - lightly tilled topsoil. Averaging 60% rH and 74℉. Happy hump day, friends! 🐫 *PM Update: While changing the humidifier this evening I noticed a tragedy unfolding. Unknown 2's main stem has split in half. It has always been the runt out of the three plants, but this seems bad. I have added a grow question asking for advice and seeing if what I've done is adequate. I tied the stem back together in a cross-hatch with garden tie and then used a zip-tie to cinch the stem back together. I don't know what I've done wrong, but I am guessing this strain doesn't take well to high stress training like I've been doing. The other plants are much hardier. I will try to find a good veg stage vitamin-B supplement for my next grow to aid with stem growth. What a sad day. February 11, 2021 (Week 5, Day 38): 12-hours after Unknown 2's stem split in half and it appears my repair is working. The plant looks just as healthy as it was without any drooping or shock, so it still seems to be thriving. I'm glad the split happened on the runt and not on one of the other plants. The other plants look great and are plugging right along. Gelato 1 is so damn leafy it just doesn't quit. Starting to notice staggered node development on Unknown 1 and Gelato 1, so these plants are definitely at maturity now. I think another week in veg will do. Didn't adjust any LST this morning as I am going to start transitioning to vertical growth now (and I'm also now terrified of splitting another main stem). Medium is still slightly moist. Tilled half-inch of top soil. It's pretty cold here right now and the tent dipped to 64℉ last night. That's about as low as I want to go, so hopefully it will stay between 64℉ and 68℉ nightly. Averaging 60% rH and 73℉. Nothing else for today. February 12, 2021 (Week 5, Day 39): Watered with nutrients today; 4 liters per plant 5.7 pH + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 1ml/l Cal-Mag Plus. Plants are looking perfectly healthy. Time to juice and see what happens. Unknown 2 doesn't seem to be affected at all by the stem splitting. My repair seems to be holding for now. Starting to see the growth sites pop up vertical on all the plants. Hopefully we'll see plenty of vertical growth over the next several days. Averaging 60% rH and 74℉. February 13, 2021 (Week 5, Day 40): Plants are looking good this morning. Vertical growth looks good and the growth sites are becoming more obvious. Soil is still wet this morning. Haven't adjusted LST in two days now. Hopefully this growth keeps up and we can switch to flower in the next week or so. Averaging 60% rH and 72℉. Nothing else to report today. February 14, 2021 (Week 5, Day 41): Medium is still wet this morning. Tilled half inch of top soil. Saw about another half inch of vertical growth overnight. Unknown 1 is leaving the other plants in the dust now. It's lanky and wants to stretch. It's also starting to get interesting coloration on its main stem near the base; like purple-red veins. Gelato 1 is just a mess of leaves. The base has the diameter of a quarter, it's huge. Interestingly, it is also starting to smell very sweet and creamy already. I have a feeling it's going to reek. I'm trying not to defoliate until I get more vertical growth. All these leaves seem to have air and light so I don't see any reason to get rid of them yet. Averaging 60% rH and 74℉. Happy Valentine's day, everyone! 😍 February 15, 2021 (Week 5, Day 42): Plants were starting to stack leaves so I defoliated each plant today by taking the second nodes on the top and bottom sets of growth stems, leaving the left and right growth stems with all their nodes. After the haircut the plants look great. Medium is partly-dry. I'll let it go for another day and water tomorrow. I readjusted the LST by removing the first set of braces and adjusted each branch so it produces a completely flat canopy. So far Unknown 1 is the lankiest plant and is about half an inch ahead of the others. The growth I am seeing is amazing. The stems are very healthy as are the leaves. Seems to be growing about half and inch or so of stem per 24 hour period. This should mean one more week of veg and then I will switch to a 12/12 lighting cycle. Next week I'll let these plants grow vertically and Monday night (February 22) will be its first night of 12/12. I'll only change this plan if I don't see enough vertical growth. I am dealing with relatively limited space, so I have to make sure I keep these plants under control in anticipation for the flowering stretch. Gelato 1 is seriously starting to smell amazing - it is throwing 4-5 pre-flowers at every single node and it is filling my grow room with a sweet creamy scent. The other plants have pre-flowers as well but nothing to the extent of Gelato 1. Averaging 60% rH and 72℉. Because I am seeing drastically lower temperatures, I'll lower the humidity to 55% next week and keep it there until mid to late flower. One more week of veg and onto the next adventure: flowering! So excited! See you next week! 👽

VG ✌️
