Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Not many pics on her as not been down too much this week and was dark and raining yesturday so couldn’t stay and take any good ones, but she’s shooting up she’s over 5ft tall now and side branches starting to come up, gonna get her tied down again to try spread her out, not long now till she will start her flower stretch, looking forward to what she produces. Day 106 12/25/2021 being of a new week and this will be more than likely the last week this lady gets any nutrients thinking Wednesday. After that will start flush with collected rain water. After checking trichomes they were about 85% cloudy about 10% clear and 5% amber which is right where she should be since the end is coming fast. Day 110 12/29/2021- Started flush today and will continue to just feed rain water until next Wednesday. Will cut her down next Friday 01/07/2022.

So this week isnt over yet, i just wanted to say that im pretty certain she is starting to show her sex! I dont have any pictures yet as they are really really really tiny but i think this will be my last week that i give her veg nutes and next feeding will be with tiger bloom and probably still likely big bloom too. I cant wait to show you guys the progress is been so exciting! The branch i accidentally almost took off because i pressed down too hard is doing well it isnt fully healed yet but we have time so im not too worried and none of the leaves are wilting or looking like they are dying so i think and hope it will hold out and be healthy and strong by flowering time so it can hold its weight! P.S. it wouldnt let me post without a picture so heres the first frame for this weeks time lapse before its done for the week! Alright guys week 4 has officially ended and im putting the edited time lapse up for you all to see, week 4 was phenomenal and the growth alone has been starting to get crazy big i cant believe it! So i was 100% correct about earlier in the week and she is currently showing signs of pistils starting to form on some branches so this will mark my last week giving her veg nutes and next feeding cycle will be with some flowering nutes. I decided to defoliate her today to try and get rid of any ugly leaves as well as fan leaves that werent needed. it really spaced out the plant some more for good lighting to penetrate it all hopefully. The branch that i accidentally injured is doing good still healing up i think but i do believe that in time it will be 100% of what i can be given the circumstances. im just happy and it hasnt seemed to stunt the growth of that branch at all either its getting really big. It was the last week for the Black Jack and I was kind of sad to cut it down. I wanted to go the full 9 weeks of flower but she was telling me she was ready. I couldn't wait another week to get the Liberty Haze in its place either. It took an hour just to cut down/hang and remove most of the crispy and yellow leaves. Have a 3x3 set up for drying and have it dialed in and filled it with 5 hangers from the plant. Cut it into chunks as big as i could fit on the hangers. I weighed the buds wet this time just to get an idea of how much they loose during drying. She got light dose if Buddha bloom and some brix/molasses this week as she was starving.l'm still learning when to harvest but I like a more heady high so Its sometimes hard to tell when the trichomes are past my preference but I want to let a plant flower a week or two after its "supposed" to really have a gauge on it.l next time. But i think I hit it at a good time. Will update the harvest soon. I think this one will need the full 2 weeks drying even though I have my dry tent in the basement now instead if my garage with ac/heater It stays about 64 in the basement and i was having a hard time keeping it down to 60 anyway out my studio without the heater and ac constantly battling, and the ac freezing over. I forgot to take pictures of it on the racks and the setup but i will update

this time we got a different phenotype, the whole plant has started to turn purple, not just sporadically like in the last ztrawberriez grow. It looks beautiful and will be harvested soon

Day 71 Update: Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Water was just plain pH balanced water. Plant #1 has 5 days left on flush and Plant #2 has 11 days left on flush. Although with my tent filling up, I will probably harvest Plant #1 tomorrow as I don't think 4 days of being in there will make a difference in the end product. Day 72 Update: Harvested Plant #1 today. Plant #2 has 10 days left on flush. Day 74 Update: Watered plant with 3/4gal of pH balanced water until runoff. Plant #2 has 8 days left on flush. Also, added another stake to help support a heavier branch. Day 76 Update: Placed buds from Plant #1 in jars to start curing...maybe a little bit too long drying, but if that's the case I'll toss a boveda pack in. Plant #1's yield was 57.2g or 2oz 1.2g. Plant #2 will be harvested sometime next week and I will update the harvest page as soon as buds are dried and weighed.
