The Afghan #1 has received her final defoliant. At the end of week six she is 78 cm tall. Has put on significant weight with the calyxes fully swollen now emerging into bud formation. Leaves fading yellowing. Stem growth slow paced. She will be fed water and molasses until harvest.

day 70 was harvest day !! really fast strain, 24h light ON really played a big role as well frosty buds and amazing strawberry smell, now lets dry it !!

The plant is very bushy and seem to be quite slow reaching flowering stage. Maybe next week will be the week for her. At the moment she is fine, happy and fed with booster and top dressing

So I have decided to only note when changes are made, observations are warranted, or I feel something of note has happened. I'll still do daily progressions, but the rest has already been documented and no need to create a hundred new pics showing the same. Just understand that if I say "7.1ph," or something with tested amounts that I mean I first calibrated and tested my ph pens and all units are measured for accuracy. I am learning as I go, so it would be of no benefit to report inaccurate details. 112/42 VPD and PPFD are still the same this week. 73-76F in the day and 66-68 overnight with RH set to not exceed 55% but is mostly at 45 to 50% now that winter is here. The fan is set to auto and I have 2 de-humidifiers in the tent. The PH lockout issue is still in progress but I am starting to get the soil up to snuff now. I think using the knitting needles has the most beneficial effect on the soil as it both aerates and allows the nutes to get deeper. 113/43 Defoliated today. I removed the worst of the affected fan leaves and this unfortunately only leaves sugar leaves to run photosynthesis process. Im hoping she still gets enough of everything else to grow the buds, but only time will tell. I will take new control pics for new progression on 3 other sites now. Watering Days. All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio, or combination, of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates. These are/will be DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added-in larger, then smaller, ratios while the "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 3. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5. Last feed was day 110/40 (next will be +3) I expect to continue to use 7.1ph with 650ppm of bloom mix concentrate and feed 2.5 gallons every 3 to 4 days, so I expect about 8 to 11 cups of runoff at that time as well. I have decided that I will try to add 1 ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) per gallon of feed on each feed for a week or two to see if this can help against ph lockout of calcium since it cant be N,P, or K. Cant be N because she uses WAY less N in flower, and it cant be P or K because I am getting nute burn with the feeds I am already using... so my conclusion is that she need more micro nutes from the lockout, and since I was thinking it was Calcium in the start, I am going to try a more detailed treatment to test results against from here. Day 113/43 (last feed was day 110/40) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Fed 2.5 gallons of purified water (starting with 16ppm) mixed with 658ppm of 100% Bloom Mix Concentrate. Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am starting a 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 2.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to the feed then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 7.1. I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. (a practice I may consider a new feeding standard for all my plants) I got ~7 cups of runoff (~11 cups last feed). Higher runoff volume was expected with the feed volume but glad to see she's taking it better now since I started knitting needles. Runoff was tested at 6.12ph and 2250ppm (5.9ph with 1860ppm last feed). Top soil tested at 6.23,6.31,6.57,6.38 for an avg of 6.372 (6.327 avg after last feed) - next feed will be 7.1ph again as I'm still liking where the ph is finally going, but rather see it closer to 6.3 or 6.4 top and bottom. I dont see any issues with the feed's data other than the possible calcium deficit and I will continue to monitor runoff ppms as I expected this to be lower with less runoff but have to consider they maybe washing out salt with the knitting needles. Next Feed should be 3 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water ph balanced to 7.1 in +4 days (117/47). I will run 650ppm and 3ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) again. Day 117/47 (last feed was day 113/43) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Fed 3 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water (starting with 299ppm) mixed with 671ppm of 100% Bloom Mix Concentrate. Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am starting a 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 3.0ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to the feed then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 7.4. I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. (a practice I may consider a new feeding standard for all my plants) I got ~20 cups of runoff (~7 cups last feed). Higher runoff volume was expected with the feed volume increase might let her go to 4 days again and 2.5 next feed. It could be a result of the knitting needle treatment when feeding. Runoff was tested at 6.10ph and 2070ppm - again thinking it could be a result of the knitting needles (6.12ph and 2250ppm last feed). Top soil tested at 6.23,6.31,6.57,6.38 for an avg of 6.372 (6.372 avg after last feed)- next feed will be 7.1ph again as I'm still liking where the ph is finally going, but rather see it closer to 6.3 or 6.4 top and bottom. 7/6 Plants looked great thos morning. I WATERED A GALLON to the 50 and split one between the two tens. Top of the bags are still moist amd they still have some heft. I'm hoping this will at least carry me 48hrs. These are BIG plants and the wind goes right through those bags and dries them out. I'd rather have that though than worry about overwatering. I noticed some minor deficiencies on a couple plants so it's time to start the nutes. Calcium I'd guess. Just a beginning stage but it's time. Next feeding they'll get some food too. I'll still monitor during the day to make sure they ront dry out. It's amazing how fast they come back after they dry out but it stresses them. EDIT: I WENT OVER AROUND 2OM AND IT WAS OVERCAST AND 83°. ALL THE PLANTS LOOKED GREAT AND ALL OF THEM WERE STILL SLIGHTLY NOIST EXCEPT THE 10TH PLANET. THEY ALL HAD SOME HEFT TO THEM TOO. THE SUN IS OUT BRIGHTER NOW BUT IT MAY RAIN TONIGHT AND CONSIDERING HOW GOOD THE PLANTS LOOKED I THINK IVE FOUND MY CORRECT WATERING RATIO. IM NOT GOIMG TO 9VET WATER IN THESE GROW BAGS WITH ALL THIS WIND. I NOTICED SOME FOUR LINED PLANT BUG MARKS ON ONE OF THE LITTLE PLANTS AND REMOVED A FEW LEAVES FROM THAT THIRSTY 10TH PLANET THAT COULD BE SEPTORIA. IM GOING TO TREAT IT BUT I HAVENT DECIDED WITH WHAT YET. I MEAN I NEED TO MAKE SURE ITS NOT JUST PESTS OR WATER SPLASHES FIRST TOO. I'VE BEEN PRETTY SANITARY THIS YEAR. IF I HAD A PLANT THAT DIDNT RESPOND TO TREATMENT AND IT WAS INDEED LEAF SEPTORIA I THINK ID RATHER SACRIFICE THE PLANT THAN RISK SPREADING IT. IM PROBABLY JUMPING THE GUN BUT I NEED TO BE READY IN CASE THAT'S THE CASE. IF NOT FOR LOCAL LAWS I WOULD THE PLANT ISOLATED. BUT IM TALKING I PULLED MAYBE FOUR LEAVES OUT OF THE LEAFIEST BUNCH AND INSPECTED EVERYTHING. 7/7 We got thunder storms last in the afternoon and last night. For at least 45 mins it rained harder than I've EVER seen it. Pure sheet rain. It turned over to heavy rain before moving out. The plan was to water everything this morning and start feeding. As I said in the video the soul was still moist amd the bags still had some heft. Not like I just watered them though. I stopped by a local dispo on my way home and talked with the best grower I personally know (thanks Junior) and his advice was the same as what I was planning. I planned on going around noon to check them. He said I could probably wait until like six and then when I do water give them like a 1 1/2 gallons to make up for that monsoon we had earlier. I showed him the video and explained how I have been watering. My intuition feels good about this. I may go check on them earlier but I don't think it's necessary. As usual I'll update as I go. EDIT: AS SUGGESTED (WELL I SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE) I WENT OVER TO FIND ALL NY PLANTS LOOKING GORGEOUS EXCEPT THE 10TH PLANET REVEG THAT WAS A "LITTLE" SAGGY. I LIFTED THEM AND FELT THE SOIL IN THE BAGS. I DECIDED ON WATERING AS PLANNED EVEN THOUGH IT MIGHT HAVE MADE IT UNTIL NORNING. THIS WAS MY WATERING DAY ANYWAY. HOWEVER I ONLY WATERED 1 GAL PER 20 1.5 FOR 30 AND .5 FOR 10. I THINK THAT WILL WORK OUT GREAT WITH THE UPCOMING COOLER TEMPS. IT WAS SO HOT. DIDNT HAVE TIME BUT SHIT IS LOOKING GOOD. 7/8 Finally that hot streak has broken. It's in the 70s and it rained a little last night. Had to use an iPhone and send it to me because my phone was dead. My plan worked out great and everything is looking fantastic. We may get some rain tonight but I'll be watching the forecast. I DO need to feed and may do that. I might wait until next week. I also need to figure out what to do about that four lined plant bug. The birds that perch on my cage do a good job getting pests. Knock on wood I haven't seen many. I killed one pillar and there's just that four lined plant bug. That's really the only damage. I'd Hate to spray my girls with a bunch of shit over ONE bug. We shall see and I'll keep this updated. 7/9 Phone was dead this morning. Went back over later and defoliated a little bit. On reveg ive found a few spots that look like it could be septoria. Could be splash up or a million other things too. The birds have been taking care of pillars. I've found two this season which were promptly killed. Everything looked good. We are in much cooler weather now. Still high 70s with at least 90%rh. Could have showers but I need to keep up with my watering. I kept with the increase and watered everything with 2 gallons. With the exception of the 50 and the two 10's the 50 I skipped and each 10 got 1 gallon. Now it's time for a shout out. I get my seeds from North atlantic seed company. They have a sister company @dirtybirdgenetics which produces amazing strains that flourish in Maine. N.A.S.C has always used me good but this will be my first dirty bird grow next year. None of this was necessary but it's greatly appreciated. The hand written note put a huge smile on my face. 7/10 Rained last night. Phone won't charge so I used an iPhone and uploaded some pictures and a video. Plants are looking good but I've noticed "a" leaf with pillar markings. It's time to start feeding. I'm not sure if I'll start tonight or next watering. I'm not really sure. Any deficiencies are minor. I need to check my supply and see what I'm going to use. I'm suprised I haven't seen any wpm (knock on wood) with rh so high and "rolling mists". Happy 7/10 to those that indulge in oil.

Growing fine except one Original Glue that is lagging behind. Perhaps not worth doing but we will see after the stretch. - New addition to the tent , Purple lemonade FF ( for next run, clones ) Some LST 12/23 - pre flowering indications on all plants Switching out the metal halide for the HPS. She's taking off!!

[ Information ] For all grow information, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] (Flower) Day 1 - Light intensity increased to 65%. C02 increased to 1300ppm average. Day temp/humidity 85/70 (1-1.2VPD), night temp/humidity 75/65 (.8-1VPD). Fed a diluted compost tea mixture before lights on. Base water was R/O and tap water mixed lightly with silica and Tribus microbes. Tea was a mixture of Fish Hydrolysate, Bat Guano, Molasses, Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. 8 gallons of tea were added to 72 gallons of water mixture for an 80gal batch total. The batch was mixed for a half hour before feeding to the room. I did not PH or PPM test the mixture, organic material is hard to get an accurate PPM reading so the numbers are useless to me. I will be working to bring the lights to 100% power over this first week of flower. Day 4 - Light intensity increased daily, currently at 90%. Will raise to full power tomorrow. C02 increased to 1800ppm average. Temp and humidity for day and night are still the same. Lights were raised slightly to maintain 12 inches from canopy height, and a few growth nodes that were above the canopy got topped. Watered today with an 80gal (1.25gal p/pot) mixture, 10% tap 90% r/o water. 6.8 PH, 2.2ec. Foliar sprayed yesterday before lights off with a neem mixture for weekly IPM. Canopies are stretching relatively evenly, though I will be adding in support nets within a few days to help maintain the even spread. I've run this strain before so I'm fairly confident that I know what to expect during these few stretch weeks. Day 7 - Lights have been at 100% since day 5. C02 still 1800-2000ppm on average. Plants are stretching quickly into the lights, I have yet to readjust their height. The best growth usually happens when I do nothing, and I've done almost nothing the past couple days besides enjoy the unusually warm spring weather my area is currently experiencing. Watered today, 100gal (1.5gal p/pot) mixture, <1ec. Mainly an organic feeding for microbe health, also wanted a bit more runoff than normal due to the high ec feeding previously.

A note on last weeks goals: - Continuing LST has been very easy with this girl. Following a VPD chart and keeping a good environment has been key to establishing a successful low stress training regiment. In the last week I decided to use stainless steel nuts and bolts as weights. I tie them to the end of the side branches rather than tieing them down to the side of the pot. This makes it easier to water.. I will use this technique again, I really like it. I also pull my plants out of the tent and place them in a tote to water them and inspect them. - I've been playing with my CO2 generators .. adding more yeast, less sugar etc.. the highest CO2 concentration I've been able to achieve is 1050 ppm. With that in mind i will probably purchase a rotometer and a CO2 tank for future runs. Furthermore I think that the yeast and sugar combo could lead to an infestation if in not carefull (bugs are attracted to sugar and yeast). I have noticed my plants are praying for 15 hours a day though and I think the CO2 has been a game changer through vegetation. A note on my environment: I decided to add photos of some of my gear for my garden. This grow I decided to swap my intake and exhaust fan placement. With putting my exhaust on the FLOOR, the air in my tent is drawn from upwards towards the floor. This gives my plants proper contact time with the CO2. It also takes the heat from the top of my tent and pulls it downwards acting as a heat source for my crop... In my pictures you will notice my 4 inch inline fan and my 6 inch inline fan are attached to a secondary room. This helps me draw fresh air while releasing my exhaust away from my tent room. WHEN GOING INTO FLOWER I turn up my intake fan to get cool air to the top of my tent. The exhaust draws it down cooling my tent when the lights are turned up in the last stage of flower. As a new grower this has been the step to changing my entire grow. Everything is much healthier and I owe it all to my environment, and Fastbuds genetics. One more thing: I almost burnt my house down and electrocuted my ass with a cheap water heater... careful while playing with electricity and water 🤣🔥🔥⚡️ Next week's goals: - Turn up lights slowly - Continue to play with CO2 generators to try and achieve 1200+ ppm concentration - Continue training and defoliation - keep up pest management.. these fungus gnats keep trying to regroup and they're starting to hurt my feelings.. I get rid of them in my tent but they keep coming back! The bud sites are stacking nicely, I'm getting excited she starting to remind me of the Fastbuds Forbidden Runtz auto when she went into flower...and that was the best plant I've ever grown 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Happy growing everyone!

THURSDAY 11/29: I'm really digging these lovely little ladies.😍 Short, compact, bushy, quick, and easy. I foliar fed a few times and did a photo session. FRIDAY: Not seeing much more upward growth from Charlotte...she needs to stretch a bit so as to make some bigass buds. Charlene went from an A-cup to a B-cup overnight...you go girl! I foliar fed and tweaked a few things today. SATURDAY: I foliar fed them a few times and rotated them and improved ventilation a bit. I fed them today with full strength bloom nutes...about 1/3 gallon each. Temps are staying at or below 84 now, so I'll add more light!!!😎 SUNDAY: I foliar fed them a few times today. No upward growth to speak of today, but they continue to pack on the pistils. Charlene may be the only plant in the garden to show me special colors...kinda disappointed.. MONDAY: I foliar fed Charlotte and spring water misted Charlene a few times to remove residue from the foliar feeding regimen. I rearranged the garden a little and re-positioned my nanny cam.

Week 8 10-14 Day 50 She looks, smells and grows well! Little studdered on drinking. What else but pics and videos! 10-16 Just water and pictures. Letting her do her thang! Around 500-700ml water a day. 10-19 Some burn, so I ran some runoff, yep burn! 1200 ppm now 400. 😱 Well 2 weeks from here 🤣 or so. 10-20 Nothing changed. .

Purple shine a bien repris son développement, niveau racines il va être temps de la rempoter une bonne masse racinaire commence à sortir du air pot. Le 25/04 seconde taille des branches principales, de 2 apex cela va passer à quatre😉, apport de solution nutritive pour réduire le stress de la taille(terragrow 1,5ml, katanaroot 0,2ml, silicon 1ml, calmag 0,5ml). Maintenant repos pour cette demoiselle avant la prochaine taille😉 Purple shine semble reprendre assez vite sa végétation après une taille. Ses branches sont bien épaisse ajout de silice et a participé.

Day 50 - Starting week 8 and damn she’s getting some nice fat and tight buds. Not really y’all but she’s definitely going to be nice and dense. Will be giving her a feeding of nutes tomorrow. Day 51 - Looking good and fattening up nicely! Looking forward to this girl finishing but still a few weeks away. Gave her a full feeding of the foxfarm trio today. Day 52 - She’s fattening up nicely and think I should get a pretty decent yield out of her when she’s done. I wish my camera would show the colors like I can see in person but all kinds or oranges, yellows, greens in there. She’s a beautiful plant. Did a little leaf tucking and don’t really want to do any defoliation until I know she’s coming to an end. Day 53 - Looking nice and fat! Absolutely love what she looks like and how fat she’s getting. Only took her out to see if she needed some water, tuck a few leaves and to get some daily pics. Still a couple weeks left from what I can tell but looking forward to the harvest. Day 54 - Gave her some fresh pH’d water and cal-mag tonight, the pot felt like nothing but air. She’s really starting to drink heavily and is going through about 1/2-3/4’s a gallon of water every two days. She’s not really stretching but her buds are getting nice and plump. Will most likely give her a feeding of nutes on Saturday. Day 55 - No real updates today, she’s chugging along and really getting plump. I do see a little bit of foxtailing in my LSD-25 grow but nothing like that with this girl. Nice round, fat and starting to stretch a little bit buds. All in all this is gonna be a great grow and harvest. Day 56 - It’s the end of week 8 and this baby is looking great. Didn’t really do anything to her today but removed a couple of fan leaves in the middle that were in the way of the light. Will give her a feeding of nutes tomorrow.

Day 23 The third week of flowering is complete. Most of the height growth is finished. Time for a radical defoliation. The girls look great. Unfortunately, Kush has formed hermaphrodites on the flowers in the shade. I hope that I have removed them all. The lamp will be raised to 100% output in two stages.

Wow... She's really entered flowering this week! I've had to bend over her main cola so is could receive light as opposed to growing above it 😂 😕 Also she's been stretching like crazy. I have backbuilt quite a few bud sites. We will see in the coming weeks how effective this has been.

we improvised with threads the mesh was badly placed but everything served and fulfilled its function, now the leaves have grown again and the mini jungle is re-formed, we really liked how the previous pruning turned out although aggressive to the plants it did not affect them they recovered almost instantly, and it works in our favor because of the space, so this is already the end of the second or the beginning of the third week, in the next one I will upload the pruning and everything as it is already at the end of almost the 3rd week of flowering, at least of the larger, the others, as you know, are 2 to 3 weeks apart, so for them it is 1 or 2 weeks of flowering, which is noticeable in their development. the risks that are written down in the diary are the fertilizer once a week, and 1 3.5-liter drum or a gallon is used, which is divided into the 2 largest and another equal gallon with a different proportion for the 5 smallest , in the newspaper it is written down of the great ones.
