Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥 Coco remains as the most manageable medium in our arsenal. It’s simplistic, similar to conventional soil but as a nutrient neutral medium, it’s also much more tailored to the growers preferences in terms of feeding. It’s best attribute is excellent drainage and consistency - a lot fluffier than soil which definitely translates to faster growth rates. It’s a damn shame that this particular grower forgot the cardinal f$&@king rule when it comes to any grow - always water to run off and pay attention to the strength of the feed in relation to the plants growth stage. If we had followed these basic principles we wouldn’t have run into the serious late stage burn that almost toasted the whole plant. On the flip side of that, coco flushes out incredibly well and if not for this attribute, the whole grow would’ve been an unmitigated disaster. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Uggghhh - hindsight f$&@‘n sucks sometimes. Best descriptor for how we grew this girl - imagine having the dinner table set with your finest china, a bottle of the most expensive red wine you can find, a brand new top-o-the-line BBQ, and then burning the absolute f$&k out of a $40 prime rib. That’s exactly how this grow feels... We were looking to scrog it the whole time and this went perfectly. The plant helped quite a bit with longer than expected internodal spacing. This allowed for a really even canopy/bed of buds. Again though, the vipar 450w (truly a 200w~) shit the bed mid veg. And we needed a replacement. Went with a 100w SpiderFarmer QB. While I truly am pleased with the purchase I do believe that we should’ve upp’d to the 200w model (or 2, 100w models) to achieve a similar output and result - @silverback_guerilla was right on point with the lighting advice (*again). Given the reduced yield it just feels like the nodal spacing and overall bud quality may have suffered with the reduced power. This, despite the better light spectrum and overall coverage in general. As an aside - an additional Fixture is now on the way😉👍. Worst part about this is we’ll never really know what the true limiting factor actually was due to the nute burning. Probably the single most stupid, rook mistake I could’ve made was not watering to runoff.... just too much shit going down in the world (and in life) these days and I started to treat the grow like it was on auto pilot🤬🤬🤬. The whole worlds a cluster f$&k right now so why should the grow be any different right? 4/5 for the method, losing1 point because the grower is a lazy moron. Yield/Harvest🌴 The final numbers are better than expected, 2.26oz of usable bud. Not overly fluffy and not overly dense. Not glazed in frost but not without a little shimmer. All around mediocre unfortunately. What it coulda? Shoulda? Woulda been??? Note sure 🤔 but we’ll take it👍. On a more positive note - There was still another new addition to our grow cycle. This time on the back end. Everyone knows that trimming just plain sucks. When we’re spitt’n out 3-4 plants every few months, the exercise is a dreaded necessity if were gonna maintain the vast array of choice that we’re used to🤙👌. The whole process just for one plant can take hours unless you have help. We prefer to wet trim too so for those that don’t require a commercial size trimmer, the only option to save some time is a trim bowl. We bit the bullet, dropped the cash on one - have NOT been disappointed at all! Not only did it cut the chop process from 2-3 hours down to a mere 45 minutes, the buds literally came out rack ready. There was no need to do any touch up trimming and the bud photos you see are as-is, right out the bowl🤩. Really coulda used this last fall and I would recommend this to anyone who chops more than a handful of plants per year. Just awesome and worth every penny!👌🤙👍 At times like these, we should all just be thankful that we still have both the opportunity and ability to grow our own✌️. 🌸 Lava Cake – Week 7 Flower (Harvest Special) 🌸 This week marks a major milestone in the Lava Cake journey: we harvested phenotype two, who had been affected by bud rot. Bud rot may have tried to take the best from us, but we didn’t allow it. Every infected part was carefully removed, and the remaining healthy plant was harvested and is now drying as a whole plant under controlled conditions. ⸻ 🙏 Apologies & Context We know this is technically a flower week update, but due to the new updates on Grow Diaries and the desire to share photos, videos, and the story of this harvest so we’re combining the harvest with the flower week report. Even though bud rot forced an early cut, the flowers are still dense, fragrant, and high quality. The flowers were so dense and weighty that some branches were starting to bend, snap, and strain under the load. While this is a testament to the plant’s vigor and genetics, it also increased the risk of further bud rot and damage, making an early, careful harvest the safest and most sensible choice. Even under pressure, these girls delivered impressive structure, weight, and resin coverage, proving their strength and quality until the very last moment. First week of flowering. The plant will stretch, so i adjusted the LED dimmer to 100%. Did a good defoliation too. Doing good, very healthy big plant. It grew a lot of ramifications.

End of week 3, moving into week 4. The ladies got one of their very last defoliation. And definitely need some water and a feeding. So I top dressed with worm castings, Gaia Green's 284 and a touch of 444. Also got some recharge as well! Super simple! Just keeping my temps and humidity dialed in as good as I can and keeping a good feed schedule and water schedule and they're thriving very easy organic grow!

Week 2 In the second week, the plant begins to adjust to its environment, but its growth remains noticeably stunted. New leaf sets emerge slowly and stay significantly smaller than expected, despite maintaining a healthy green color. The stem shows little thickening, suggesting limited root development below the surface. Compared to the other plants, its reduced size is especially apparent. The plant remains upright but appears compact and dwarfed, with leaves growing closely together. Overall, it conveys a sense of stability, yet with severely restricted growth rather than visible expansion. No water given so far!

Just discovered this site. Wish I could have uploaded from the start 😢 Anyways 4 weeks into flowering, 2 weeks to go for harvest. Super exited as this is my first time growing a hybrid from a legit breeder! So far all trics are cloudy with a few ambers showing up. Any advise is much appreciated!

4/13/25 - Start of week 5 of flower, Purple Ghost Candy has caught up to Fuel D.OG in height, bud development PGC is still behind while FDOG is progressing well and starting to swell. Today they will get top dressed with Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4 at 3 TBSP per gallon of soil, I will be adding 27 TBSP or ~400ml. I will also be adding some worm casting at 1/2 cup per gallon of soil, so i will do 4.5 cups or 2.25 solo cups (Solo Cups is obviously the best unit of measurment) 4/14/25 - Gave a light top watering with FPE. Thinking about getting aloe Vera powder and adding it into my top watering. Add 1/8th a tbsp per gallon for top 4/16/25 - Filled the res with plain water PH'd to 6.1 4/17/25 - Gave a light top watering with FPE again today 4/19/25 - filled the res with plain water PH'd to 6.5

She started growing more hairs so seems like another week and a half both her and my gsc

Very good journey to me, she has responded very well to the lst training, providing me beautiful colas, enough for me to have nice clean organic nuggets to smoke. I would definitely would run this Ak420 by seedstockers again, the sweetest phenotype was the number #2 which you can take a look at here in my page!

**Week 8 - Third Week of Flower** Things are getting wild in the Donutz tent! After the insane stretch last week, the plants have turned the space into a full-on jungle. The start of Week 8 called for drastic measures, and the results are setting the stage for explosive bud production. **Key Updates**: - **Aggressive Defoliation**: On Day 1 of the third flower week, the plants underwent a *brutal* defoliation. Every bud site that had started to develop its own leaves was stripped of its fan leaves, allowing light to flood the canopy. Even the smallest sites now have excellent exposure, giving them the best chance to mature into chunky nugs in the coming weeks. Despite the intensity of the trim, the plants are resilient and primed to bounce back strong. - **Boosted Nutrients**: To support the plants after the stress of defoliation, I added another 5-6g of Greenhouse Feeding Bloom per plant. This ensures the soil stays nutrient-rich and gives the plants the resources they need to recover and thrive. - **Watering**: Still rocking reverse osmosis (RO) water, ensuring clean and efficient hydration without any surprises. **Observations**: - The canopy is significantly cleaner and more open, with light now reaching deeper into the lower sections. - The plants are handling the defoliation well, with no immediate signs of stress or shock. - Bud sites are already looking promising, with visible development and an even distribution across the canopy. **Looking Ahead**: The next few weeks will be all about letting the plants recover and watching the buds stack up. With improved light penetration and a fresh dose of nutrients, everything is lined up for some impressive development. The Donutz are thriving, and the Florida Gang vibes are at an all-time high — the tent is set to deliver big!
