Kweekverslag Week 3: Oreo van Seeds Genetics datum: 18 maart 2025 Week 3 van mijn kweek met de Oreo-plant van Seeds Genetics is nu een feit, en het wordt steeds spannender! De ontwikkeling van deze cultivar laat me echt achterover leunen in bewondering. Hier is een overzicht van de hoogt en dieptepunten van de afgelopen week.Groei en Ontwikkeling: Vanaf het begin heeft Oreo zijn naam eer aangedaan met een heerlijke combinatie van stevige groei en een schitterend blad. Dit week kreeg ik een flinke dosis energie van de plant, omdat deze nu echt aan het uitbreiden is! De bladstructuur is gezond en geweven, met glanzende, donkergroene bladeren die vol leven zitten. De internodes zijn aan het verlengen, wat belooft voor heerlijke zijtakken in de toekomst. Voeding: Wat betreft voeding heb ik de dosis organische meststoffen iets verhoogd. Oreo reageert daar uitstekend op, met een zichtbaar gezondere uitstraling – de bladeren zijn breder en de kleur is levendig. Om ervoor te zorgen dat de groei soepel blijft verlopen, zorg ik ervoor dat de pH-waarde van de bodem op het juiste niveau blijft. Licht en Temperatuur: De plant blijft genieten van de huidige lichtcyclus van 18 uur licht en 6 uur duisternis. De temperatuur blijft een constante 22-26°C, wat perfect lijkt te zijn voor deze soort. De luchtvochtigheid heb ik op 55% gehouden, om de bladeren vochtig genoeg te houden maar ook schimmelvorming te voorkomen. Training: In deze week heb ik ook een lichte low-stress training (LST) toegepast. Het is een genot om te zien hoe Oreo zich aanpast aan de gebogen takken. De lagere takken krijgen eindelijk de kans om te groeien en mogen nu meer licht absorberen. Het lijkt ervoor te zorgen dat de plant prachtig in balans blijft! Gezondheidscheck: Bij een inspectie zag ik geen tekenen van plagen of ziekten, wat altijd een goede indicatie is van een gezonde kweek. De bladeren zijn vrij van vlekken en de plant staat er stevig bij. Ik blijf alert op eventuele symptomen en zorg ervoor dat ze met veel liefde en aandacht verzorgd wordt. Conclusie: loopt lekker!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡

I love these hybrid and Indica leaves their just satisfying but this strawberry has been growing nicely and I can’t wait till she’s fully grown.

This week was very hot. They stressed a lot some heat stress and some fan stress that came up to uptake look down. The weedding cake was that must sofer. Shr was still recovering from that led issue...and she gets direct sun light in the hottest hour. Black cream in the other hand sofer a lot with fan stress bleaching the leafs in direct contact. Couskush its a beautifull lady and growing nice. Bomberry is late but showing some promissing buds. Chears BrotherHood

First Week for me to Start Documenting this Grow. It took a while for them to get to this point. Started the Seedlings on the window sill and the growth was pretty slow before i moved my tent from my garage to my house. From there on they grew pretty fine and really enjoyed beeing inside now. This should be week 2

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! Changed Monday Big defoliation Friday

Day 58 since seed touched soil. Sponsored grow MARS HYDRO TSL2000: 300W, Flower 2'x4', Veg 3'x5' It's recommended for beginners. Low-budget & high-efficiency. Think its more than for beginners ;))) Plants coped well with small distance, stretch is over, flowers start tu bulk up, some buds will be really nice. Today raised light to max, so now they have 15 cm quile healthy distance ;))) Last top up was too powerful with Nitrogen, i see signs of overdose. Devil got maybe a bit more and was hit most, not only nails , but verges of leaf is burned. Have to rethink proportions and minimise Nitrogen part in flowering top up. She is huge, sides try to take neighbours space ;)) will be biggest buds, but not so stacked as other two strains. Day 60. Did some clearing. Happy Growing !!!

Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

They’re all hitting their stride in terms of flower. Chemdawg easily the most impressive bud development/size wise, but Bubba is massive and has a TON of bud sites. No leaf discolouration at all so I’m guessing the ladies have switched to flower smoothly with the right amount of food in the soil. I top dressed with Gaia Bloom to give them a little extra for the next few weeks as they push forward. Crazy to believe Bubba might only have 25 days left which means I don’t know if she’ll get fed anything other than water from here on out

Love this plant! So it’s a generic Slurricane cross abs she is getting frosty and tall! The two topped branches were stunted and the 2 outside are huge! Just giving her my normal feed schedule now with a weekly tea. Love this! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨
