D57/FD29 - Thing going grand with the Cookies so far (enjoying growing these Cookie Based Strains). Smell from it is divine! Touch a stem and its a lovely citrus smell left on you for ages! Noted in a previous comment, like a perfect sweetness, fresh lemonade. You'd wear it as an aftershave alright even!!! :P They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at what would be recommended strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea this late in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geeklight also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant too and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator (and hopefully UVB Tube) and great to see them honouring the Warranty. RHC Seems to be flowering nicely as can been seen from the pics. Stacking well, buds coming along. Slight pinkish tip to the pistils on some buds but not the shocking pink as you'd see in the sales pics...hopefully it goes there though! Also noticing a bit of an early frost on a few flowers...like real good frost! And this is only day 1 of week 5 (I know, I do this diary arse about face)!!! Hoping Geeklight get this driver control board and longer cables to me quick so as I can get the driver out of the tent as I'd really like to get the UVB in there to frost them up in a week or 2!!! May only be getting about 9" clearance though so dunno, could be dangerous!!! 12" is the lowest recommended...but then, I could do the 15 min burst lighting (On 15, off 45 min every hour) so lower the risk of burn but get them more exposure (but lowers the lifetime of the tube). They get UVA from the LED's on the light at the moment for a 1/3 of the day and have been since early veg so should be hardened to it by now!!! Anyway, think that's enough s**te chatted by me!!! I have cut the food from the larger one, just another week or so i reckon. I could pull it now, trichs look good but aiming for a liiitle more amber. Very few clear if any. The small one is about 3 weeks behind im thinking, but my god does it stink. Most stinky plant ive had yet i think, despite its size haha.

Week 8 - 05/03 - 05/10 Light - 400 W HPS & 265 W LED Temperature - 76 +/-2 Humidity - 55 +/-5 D1 Flower - This week will be the transition week for the ladies, each day reducing the light schedule by an hr. It worked pretty well last time so hopefully, this batch follows suit. I will change the MH bulb to an HPS midweek, along with switching on the bloom switch for the LED light. Added the Scrog net and ended up defoliating and cleaning up the underside a little bit. D4 Flower - Watered with nutrients and switched to an HPS bulb D7 Flower - Plants are doing great, nod spacing is nice and stacked. The transition eased the plants into flower, they are down to 12 on 12 off.

09/16: Fed 30/70 blend of Veg to Bloom to all the photos. Noticed PM on True OG. Didn't notice yet but my OBW (and some other autos) also had a bad PM infection. Light defoliation and trimming 09/21: More PM found. Again light defoliation and trimming. Aphids also found on some of the autos.

Glad to have finished and trimmed up this pretty girl. I Recommend for those whole like a more indica style auto. Fairly easy to grow with dense buds.

Habe mich hier gerade registriert, weswegen ich dieses Diary erst ab der 10. Woche anfange. Kurz zur Erklärung: Wir hatten eine Tangerine Dream Auto von Barney's Farm im 3L-Topf mit einer Habibi-LED-Lampe von Crescience. - Allerdings ohne Zelt, da wir uns das Leben einer Cannabispflanze als totale Newbees mal anschauen wollten. Sie wuchs zierlich (wurde aber auch schon über 50 cm groß) und brachte kleinere aber schöne Blüten. Allerdings war sie durch unsere Ahnungslosigkeit und meine Ernährungsfehler so gestresst, dass sie gezwittert ist und sich sogar selbst bestäubt hat. Die Pflanze, um die es in diesem Diary geht, ist ein Samen von ihr ( - also kein "echter" BF-Strain). Mittlerweile ist sie ab Erdboden 175 cm groß mit einer 35 cm langen Kola auf dem Haupttrieb. Eine echte Long Tall Sally. Das "Zelt" ist eine Improvisation aus einem Gitterregal mit nur noch einem Boden, an dem die Lampe hängt, und einem darüber geworfenem Grow-Zelt. Da das Prachtstück aber mit Topf knapp 2 m hoch ist, steht das Gitterregal zusätzlich noch auf vier gleich dicken Büchern. ;-) Am Anfang machte ich ihr gleich Stress, da ich sie zu spät umtopfte. Fette Ringwurzeln im kleinen Anzuchttopf waren die Konsequenz. Nachdem ich die etwas zerissen hatte, damit sie aus dem Teufelskreis wieder raus kommt, dauerte das Warten 3 lange Tage. Aber dann ging's los - als ob nichts passiert wäre. Ich füttere die Pflanze locker und etwas schwächer nach dem Feeding-Plan von Crazy Hills (aktuell WK 5 der Blüte). Die einzige Ausnahme ist, dass ich jedem Gießwasser der Pflanze - von der Wiege bis zur Bahre - als Prophylaxe CalMag hinzufüge. Ich habe zuviel gelesen und gehört, was Growen unter LED angeht. Sie scheint es zu mögen, zumindest sagen die Blätter nichts Gegenteiliges. :-)

Harvest - 169 days / 66 days in flower Well, we did it. I made it to the end. All I can think is...WOW that was A LOT of work. But I think I had very good results for a first time grower. I For harvest, we took Plant B and D and prepared them for immediate freezing. Altogether, I ended up with 1212g wet on plant B and 1089g wet on plant D. I ended up freezing 1816g of this. There was some from each of these plants that was set aside from freezing because, for whatever reason, I thought they were not worthy of washing because of how progressed the leaf damage was from the root rot battle. So that was cut up and dried as nuggets instead of hanging like the rest. Sawtooth and Plant C were both harvested and hung in the tent to dry for 12-13 days. I think I overdried by 1-2 days because when I jarred them they struggled to raise up to 55%. So I am using rh% packs. After drying Sawtooth and plant C, I ended up at 459.8g for dried flower and 170.8g in dried trim. So just over 1lbs between the 2 plants and 4.15lbs wet between the other 2 plants that was washed for hash. So... are you for real with the effort involved with washing bud for bubble hash? I don't think I would do this in the warmth. I only pursued doing bubble hash cause it's cold right now and I figured that would really help. Even in the 30s(fahrenheit) stuff would stick. It's hilarious how sticky of a process this is. I hope you have a bunch of gloves, water, and ice to burn through. I went through over 60 gallons of distilled water and 80lbs of ice to wash the 4 lbs. I am envious of people in videos using a hose to collect, clean, and refill. Also, doing this as a 1 person show is the definition of insanity. I broke the washings up into 3 parts. The first part was was the tester wash. I broke off 420g of plant D's 848gs available. I used 7 bags to see where I would end up. I used 220, 160, 120, 90, 73, 45, 25. What I determined was that if I was hunting a specific micron with a lot of material this would help find what you can get. But for the next washing I reduced the amount of bags to 4; 220, 160, 45, 25. The time, with the 4 bags, I washed with 809g. I had a much more favorable experience and return this second time but I had green fast and probably used too much ice. The 3rd wash was the remaining 631g and I found an extra 137g I added of sugar leaves and trim, brining the 3rd wash to 768g. I used 5 bags this time; 220, 160, 73, 45, 25. By the 3rd wash I have become an expert in collection but also never want to do it again. lol. 2 of the 3 washes have dried and I have 43.4g of bubble and 2.8g of dry sift. 37.4g of that bubble is able to be pressed into rosin. I will probably press that dry sift as well. The other stuff is 25u or 160u that I will experiment with or cook with. The other stuff is drying so I can't add it all in. I pressed a bunch of trim and some flower. The trim presses nice and the dab is decent. I am working out a good temp for the flower. But the problem with all these tests to find the sweet spot is that I have all these testers to go through but want to keep pressing and trying that! I think I will need to work on a better storage solution. I can't wait for the fresh frozen bubble hash rosin pressing... I have over 20gs of bubble to put in one bag. I am really looking forward to this. But I will need to work up to that pressing since I have never pressed hash/kief/bubble before in my rosin press. So this should be really fun. I will 100% post an update of the hash pressing once I do that and also after the 3rd wash session is done drying. In closing, saying I learned a lot from this grow would be an understatement. I fully expect to start it back up in a few weeks after some R&R then some R&D. There's some things I will need to work on before I start again, such as: having a single external reservoir that feeds multiple plants, hard to clog and easy to use ebb and flow system, miscellaneous final run stuff like space for drying. November Cookies Gelato hat den harten Mainlinecut bekommen. Spitze wurde entfernt, Seitenteile wurden direkt danach abgeschnitten. Sie wird’s schon wegstecken. Tropimango und runtz geht’s gut :) Cookie gelato hat bereits wenige Stunden später die Blätter wieder hoch gestreckt. Stagniert. 5. November Alles gut. Die Schnitte wurden gut verkraftet. Triebe wachsen wieder Cookies gelato ist nun 21 Tage alt. Tropimango ist nun 18 Tage alt. Runtz ist nun 7 Tage Alt. 7. November Cookies gelato wächst. Sobald die Klammern da sind wird sie runtergebunden Tropimango hat schnitte und Lst bekommen. Topping werde ich noch abwarten. Runtz wächst 8. November Cookies gelato hat LST + mainlineschnitte erhalten. Wurde nicht mit gießen kombiniert da ich gestern gegossen habe. Tropimango erneut LST. Runtz wächst. Sieht aus als würde sie langsam ins Wachstum wechseln. Erster Triebe am einzahnblatt kommen. Dreizahnblatt erst frisch entwickelt. 9. November Cookies gelato wurde das erste mal zusätzlich mit Sugar Royal und calmag versorgt. Hab’s davor vergessen 😅 Shit Happens. Wurzeldünger gibt es konstant weiter. Runtz wurde mit wurzeldünger und calmag versorgt Tropimango hat noch sehr feuchte Erde. Keine Ahnung wieso.

Day 49-56 (Day 50) I hooked up my carbon filter to the humidity controller and it is keeping the room exactly at 65-70% RH night and day. It looks like it turns on about every 45 minutes for about 5 minutes so it allows me to run the co2 bag properly. I don’t even have to use my dehumidifier. The room is 100% dark now too. Even the small red lights on the space heaters. Not going to feed anything other than foliars this week. (Day 51) Blackberry #4 & #8 #9 and white widows #2 & #3 are all confirmed males. Chopped them down and recycled the soil. White widow #1 is the first official female and I’m starting to see pistils on the m39/zkittlez too. Plants seem to be responding to the light fairly well. It’s hung 32 inches above the canopy which is as high as it can go without strapping it to the roof, which may have to happen one day. The plant can get within 6 inches of the light so I’m probably good. The ppfd output is 1800umols which is super high so I want to hang them as high as possible in veg. I wish I could rent a ppfd meter to see if I’m in range at 32”. (Day 52) Blackberry breath #3 is the first official bbb female to show. I decided to scrap BCTG #2. It sounded like a good strain but after looking at pictures of people who have grown it online, it doesn’t look up to my standards. I found a very small patch of powdery mildew on one of the leaves so I’m not even going to start with that shit again. I’m really thinking about scrapping the m39/zkittlez and the white widow too. I’m praying that I get at least 4 females of BBB. I tried super cropping for the first time today. A few of the branches I definitely squished a bit too much as they turned quite brown and looked dead within a day. (Day 53) Despite the m39/zkittlez vigorous growth, I know it will be a shitty strain that will most likely herm as it’s from a bag seed of low grade weed. I’ve decided instead of scrapping it, I will use it for experimenting with a new chemical powdery mildew preventative. If it dies oh well. I doused it and chopped a limb off a few hours ago during lights on and it seems fine. (Day 54) I’m about 90% sure BBB 6&7 are both female. #2 & #5 are looking like males but too early too tell. #1 is really tough to say. Just gotta be patient I guess. #3 has a great spread out structure, I hope it doesn’t stretch too much. The scrogging is a priority. I put up the scrog net just to see how it fits. It’s a little small around the edges but that’s fine. So it’s looking like out the 9, I would be lucky to get 4 fems if #1 & 7 would show forsure already. If #1 is a female I have my 4 and I can throw out the white widow. The white widow is just insurance at this point. Super cropped plants have recovered nicely. Going to continue doing this more. I’ve noticed that the plants that were put into my custom soil mix have very small fan leaves compared to the fabric pots of straight promix and dry amendments. Could also be the fabric pot is helping dry downs too. (Day 56) I’m seeing some yellowing so I’m going to give a foliar spray just too keep some deficiencies at bay. All of the plants are stunted except the m39 and bbb#3. Node spacing has also reduced significantly. I can’t help but feel it’s from the intensity of my lights but maybe they just need a transplant into some new soil something. Luckily the stunt and droop is only really happening to what I suspect are male plants anyway. Leaves are looking twisted and gnarled on #5. Going to move it into the veg tent for a while. I’m going to mix up and amend my Destiny/coco blend today and transplant bbb#3 and 6 & 7 in a few days. I mixed them up in contractor bags making sure to toss and turn vigorously. Here is my blend: 2 bags 40L Destiny soil 2 bags 40L coco 700ml glacial rock dust 700ml oyster shell flour 700ml nature’s pride bloom 300ml basalt rock dust 150ml langbeinite 150ml nature’s pride veg I am also going to try the Destiny top dress as it’s only 13 bucks a bag and full of good shit. I’m trying to not feed heavy in flower other than 2 or 3 top dresses and 2 teas and nothing after week 5. Because it’s taken so long for the plants to show sex, when I transplant into the 10 gallon pots, they should have more than enough nutrients too keep them going strong all the way through flower with just water. I’m a little skeptical about that though. Besides teas and dressings are fun. Everything should be broken down by week 8 or so. Will transplant in a few days.

Defoliation definitely happened. She was getting very bushy. However, it's hard for me to NOT defoliate LOL. I want to see her true colors. I'm hoping my swollen nodes isn't telling me it's the opposite sex from seed..
