Day 107 (f45) update: She is coming along well! Was much in need of the day 42 defoliation as her fat fan leaves were blocking nearly all the light... Now the mid section is clearly under developed and more light green colored however since the defoliation the overall bud production is picking up in the mid section. In hindsight with this strain I should have removed more growth shoots at the start of flower (and more leaves at the week 3 defoliation) because currently most of the volume of the plant's flowers is in her mid/lower section... 😅 Her smells are doing well!! They didn't change much in the past week however the smell became stronger and when I rub the buds and then rub my fingers together I get some nice kushy fuely dank smells very much looking forward to smelling her after a good 2 month cure! 😛😛😎 She was showing slight nutrient burn and deficiencies so did a res change and lowered the nutrient dosage. Trying Botanicare TEA and SWEET RAW supplements to gain in terpenes... Hopefully it will be noticeable in the end result 😜 By the looks of it, at least 3 weeks left till harvest! So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

Feast your eyes :) I love the purple hues developing on this plant. Getting very close to harvest, I want to say another week to ripen before I chop. Full Flush twice a week with only filtered water. Stay Blessed! 🙏👽

Aug 3: still going strong starting the third week of flowering. I’m putting her in the garage at 9 pm, doing the 730 nm far red light to put plant into dark mode 2 h faster, and then out of garage at 7 am. So 10+ 2 h is 12 h dark and 14 h daylight or a 26 h day. The far red light definitely works as a bloom booster and helps the plants finish faster when the sun is stronger. Did morning foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. Aug 4: always some defoliation to be done and I took out all the small stuff that was growing into the centre. If I had a longer season I could have left some of these small branches but I want the energy directed toward the prime bud sites. Also removing leaves makes it more stable in the wind. Yet another growing trade-off. Aug 5: she looks great coming out of the dark garage this morning. Lots of colas with lots of buds 👍👍 Aug 6: added UV lights from AC Infinity. This far north we run out of strong sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. By adding UV lights, this will make Edmonton in September seem like California in July. Along with genetics, UV light is the main factor controlling trichome and THC production. Adding UV light for a couple of hours per day centred at peak sun (currently 1:39 pm) should help a lot this far north. At the other end of the light spectrum, I use Forever Green Indoor (FGI) 730 nm far red light. This is the third season using the far red light as a bloom booster and it definitely works. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes to put the plant into dark mode two hours faster, and is like getting a 26 h day. Bud ripen earlier and therefore under stronger sun. Both of these lights are low power LED used for a few hours (UV) or just a few seconds (far red). Gotta love science and technology when it allows us to figure this kind of out.

So heres my germination method. Soak/shake seeds in 3% h202 solution for a few minutes and let sit until tiny bubbles form on seed coat. Rinsed in clean rain water. Then placed in HPO's GREEN-SUPREME used as seed soak solution. With a small amount of ANTI-MATTER for enzymes. Soaked 12hrs (mostly I just soak a few hrs) Straight into Gro-Dirt Super Starter soil. Watered seeds in gently with diluted DARK-MATTER solution to get the mycorrhizal species attached as soon as possible. Once they came up, 18-24hrs later, sprayed gently with a mix of GREEN-SUPREME & RHIZO-MOJO Just a small pinch of both in a 1ltr spray bottle. All this was done in a dark warm place on a heat mat. 6/1 day 10. Shes looking good and super healthy so far 6/2 growing fast. Onto 3rd/4th node

-Notes Green crack is over 34 inches while the La chems around 24. Next time i do a diary i will do each plant differently. Light height is 12 inches from highest colla which belongs to GC1. And let me say wow. Not only did she bounce back but she has went back to outgrowing all the other plants with stride. If a pro grower had this seed she would have got her own 3x3 cause that is a 1 pound plant. So.. I flushed TD2, GC2 and TD1. Nothing major just about 3 gallons fush each. Most of the ppm readings where already low. Its a good idea to flush out the soil. Already the lime green color is gone from gc2. Td2 is starting to frost golden brown. So far all the plants are on the road to good health. My ppm is around 600 but going to bump up to 900. We will see. We did the final defoliate. Mainly cleaned up the bottom of the plants and a few of them got pruned. Also cleaned out the tent and wiped down and moved fans around. -GC1 has grown almost 20 inches this week. Insane. I am about out of room in my tent. My light is near max and the colas are 10 inches away. Just going to have to deal with the fox tail later on those sadly. Any advice message me. Td2 has grown a few inches only in 2 weeks but the buds are fattening up. The La Chems finally started stretching. I am guessing 3 or 4 weeks on td1 and 2 weeks after gc and la chems. We will see.

These are doing awesome! We have had a little bit of a change in the weather in the last week, the nights have gotten nice and cool, and the days are still quite warm. We have also had a few showers this week which they seem to have loved. We are at about 13.5 hours of sunlight a day, and cute little buds are forming quickly. These smell peppery, sharp and sweet. One of these babes has reached 7 ft from the ground; the others are between 6.5 and 7 ft aswell. We heavily defoliated these giants today. These ladies continue to impress me as we move slowly toward the autumn equinox; and into the harvest season 🌾

After 10 days I Change Them to flowering 12/23 🤞🙂 und IT will be 8.5 weeks vegi and 8weeks flowering

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Sorry for the delay on the updates. ** THIS TEXT SERVES FOR WEEKS 14-18** I had ALOT of problems with this lady these past 4 weeks. Really bad weather, rain, wind, blazing heat, cloudy, temps going from 17-35C every other day for 2 WEEKS straight.. very sketchy! World's going to shit y'all! Also had a Spider mites battle for 3 weeks and finally got rid of them. And on top of that, all of the pictures I had weekly were deleted off my pc.. Only have a few for each week, luckly found those on my phone. I've been watering 2L every other day for the past 4 weeks. Some days less.. about 1.6L beacuase there just wasn't enough sun for her to drink up. On week 16 there were some crazy-ass MFing winds. I'm talking gone with the wind style. As I had the spider mite problem, I didn't want to bring her in the house and risk those little fuckers finding their way to my grow room. (As I have that section perfectly isolated and pest free, wanted to keep it that way.) The result of not bringing her inside? The bottom branches that weren't tied down properly because I didn't think they would be damaged as the balcony has a little wind breaker on the bottom half. But to my surpise.. all three branches snapped and broke, So i decided to go ahead and take them off. I know it isn't much info for the past weeks, but It's what I've been battling with. The buds are airy as a result of all the stress, don't look to appleaing to be honest. My other two GSC came out GREAT, awesome lovely dense buds but those were different conditions. I'm just finishing her to harvest because she made it through a big battle and deserves to be harvested as a champion she is. Keeping in mind this was just a balcony experiment to see what I can and can't do with this balcony.. I'm not too worried about the final outcome. Luckily she pulled through so i'll make some hash with what I harvest. I'll also be joining the FastBuds Halloweed contest with this lady before harvesting and I've got the perfect idea... 😏 Hope you all enjoyed the update and again sorry for the long delay on this one.
