Ich habe 2 Bluematics, die Eine von denen hat schon in der Vegi Phase leicht gerochen und ihr könnt euch sicher vorstellen wie sie jetzt riecht. Die Bluematic 2 riecht so krass stark, aber ist nicht mal annähernd so weit wie diese Bluematic hier, also von den Blüten her. Vom Geruch her kann ich echt sagen, was mich wirklich beeindruckt hat, dass die 2. von meinen Bluematics leicht etwas beeriges hat, also wenn man an der riecht denkt man schon so an saure frische aus dem Wald gepflückte Blaubeeren. The Blue Dream is a plant that started very well, this specimen has been put at 12/12 for two days but this week I still consider it vegetative. She has been topped the day after the last post and shes looking great! The pics are about 6 days apart from topping til now. She is growing quite vigorously and looks like she will be staying the dominant female in the tent! Really excited to see this strain start to flower. I'm thinking about 2-4 days until transplant, then another week after that roughly i'll be putting the plants into flower. I will add that I went from a quality carbon filter to a crappy one and back to quality again. The difference in price is like $15 but the differnece in quality is substantial. Much better at freshening up the air. The newer plants in the tent are some autos if people are curious. I will be doing a seperate diary for one of the small ones, pineapple express.

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

So just water now for a while as I think it's done. Small amount of Amber on the trichs. Might chop on boxing day. Foxtailed hard near the end, dunno why lol.

Day 84 (day 21 flower): Major defoliation on both the Brain Cake and Bakers Delight. Both the ladies are getting sticky! The Brain Cake smell is pretty neutral but the Bakers Delight has a bit more smell and reminds me a bit of a Tangine Kush (Rare Dankness) I grew a while back. Changed the water reservoirs to the flower bloom booster nutrients (Plagron green sensation). Day 86 (day 23 flower): They seem to be coming along nicely, a tiny bit of progression in the buds since defoliating. The Bakers Delight is more sensitive to nutrients so added some tap water to dilute the nutrients a little (TDS 510 -> 470). Day 87 (day 24 flower): Both doing well. The Bakers Delight seems to be reacting positively to the slightly lower nutrient concentration. Both water reservoirs between 5.7 and 6.3 at all times and around 20-21c. Day 89 (day 26 flower): Everything seems fine, water stats are stable, for as far as I can see no deficiencies or excess, bud are growing in height and seem to be producing nice amounts of thc giving the buds a slightly grey color. Some of the pistils are turning orange very early, might be due to stress the past weeks, or the new full spectrum light or just genetics. The Bakers Delight currently has a stronger smell, also a more peppery background. The Brain Cake has a neutral fresh 'plant material' green hash smell, nothing special going on yet with her odor. --> Slowly been hanging the light closer, at 50cm from the Brain Cake and 60cm from the Bakers Delight, will slowly lower till its approx 40cm from the Brain Cake and 50cm from the Bakers Delight (because the BD is 10 cm shorter...). Hopefully this will get the top buds to get even bigger and stronger and hopefully aswell the bottom buds will pull some weight and most importantly the bottom buds need to ripen as fast as the top buds which is usually the main issue when they dont get enough light... Curious to see how it plays out. Might need another minor defoliation around day 40-44.

ACOP was a small and bushy one.. I was a bit worried about her in the beginning of her grow becouse she was germinated with her root in a knot (im not even kidding.. i wish i made a pic of that, it was a funny sight 😁) So she had to fight to keep up with the rest but after i added some canna zym and PK 13-14 in the mix..then she finally 'perked up' a bit and started to show off her sparkly, orangy buds! She smells really nice, but i got to say.. i have got a soft spot for oranges (especially the sparkly ones !😁👊) Smoke review: this one does not only gives me inspiration to write and paint.. it even gives me the energy and focus to do it! Its an hybrid, they say its 50/50.. Im not gonna argue with that ofcourse but for me, its not one i can't vape before night time..(usually i can, even with hybrids of 50%) yes, i feel my body relaxing and my chronic pain fades into the background but still .. i cant get to sleep But that does not mean im not loving her! i Just needed something like that: something to keep me focussed and at the same time, very medicinal so i can get some stuff done! finally😁👏 (luckily i have few indicas for bedtime 😎👍) BIG thnx DUTCH PASSION for letting me try this seed!🙏 happy growing for all ✊

So today is the day i switch my plants to flowering lights schedule and flowering nutes, started with 1/4 the recommended dosage and will gradually up them, only boosters i left at recommended values. Ppm is 800. Next will be 1000, then 1200 and maybe 1400. I plan to flush on days 16, 28, 35 and 42 of flowering, leave them to dry for 4-5 days so roots will oxygenize and help to stack more dense buds, and then add nutes. I plan to do the final flush for last 2 weeks with flawless finish. You can see some before and after training photos and videos from today, defoliated some leaves and LST-ing branches, spreading them out last time so light can reach smaller branches, after all she got some more stretching to do and its why i left sensi grow with more Nitrogen. I spent a lot of time training them now, hopefully it will pay out with massive buds :) Stay tuned and bye bye, as always i am opened to every grower here, i will help and share advices with everyone, i love to exchange opinions in order to come to your own conclusion, people who talked to me so far already know that..
