This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Just put them in the towel today. Expecting them to pop within 24 hrs and ready to plant in 3 days so spending the time thinking up names for the 2 girls They've both popped bang on the estimate. One even has a 3mm long taproot already. My coir has been reclaimed from 2 previous grows and the perlite has degraded so rather than wash up stones from the garden I've thrown in a few handfuls of lego bricks. They're non reactive to anything I'm going to put in there so should work just fine. Plus I've got plenty of the shit kicking around. I went back today and nearly shit myself at the progress. 1 had nearly sprouted fully so I got the nutes mixed and stuck them in the coir with an extra drink and a bottle canopy. Week 1 will begin with the first ground being broken

Seems like she's taking longer, think this might be because I used my phone flashlight to check on her during dark in the first weeks flower. Not too bothered by this as it means she might get a little fatter :) Some slight purple discoloration beginning to show from the cold night temps

🌸 Week 4 Flower — Permanent Marker 🌸 Here we are, my dear friends, entering the 4th week of flower and things are getting really exciting. The two phenos are now starting to show their true personalities: • Pheno #1 — our sky-reacher, standing proudly at 2 meters tall! She’s stretching hard, aiming for the moon, and has forced me to pull the lights all the way up. Fingers crossed she slows down here, but what a presence she has in the room. • Pheno #2 — the compact sister, sitting around 120 cm tall, balanced, and just as beautiful. Both are similar in structure and leaf formation, but their size difference makes this grow even more fascinating. Despite the heat challenges earlier, the girls are holding strong. 1 week left until i flip, the blue dream and white runtz are lagging behind but the pineapple express, and ghost train are begging for flower! day 54, and what a beautiful first grow it has been so far, these girls have responded well to all the punishment i could dish out in training and have responded with a beautiful even canopy. cannot wait to see them flower day 55, midday, lights are off for the next 36 hours to expedite the flowering process.

08/08/18 - Day 22 looking good especially after the minor bump in the road, the wire I bought for the LST is doing it’s job for the time being but I will be buying some proper stuff on the weekend. ✌️🏻 10/08/18 - did more LST last night and their responding well except one, I did some minor defoliation of some fan leaves hogging the 💡 11/08/18 - plant #3 is finally getting into feel of the LST and is looking a lot happier, but girl #1 & #2 are just going with the flow and killing it, my first time doing LST like this and I wish I started doing it two harvest ago 😂👌🏻 13/08/18 - watered each plant with 2 litres each 💧plant number #3 has a slight kink in it from the LST it has been a pain for it the main stem has hardly any flexibility but the other two are 👍🏻

Week 35 the diary won’t let me update the week number manually. Did a to dress feeding yesterday 7/5/25. Have been feeding every watering since I noticed yellowing leaves after my last top dress feeding. Reason being was I assumed my organic nutrients hadn’t broken down and became available. In retrospect she probably was just hungrier than the top dressed feeding. I will also feed on a 3 week schedule rather than a 4 week schedule moving forward. Additionally when I run out of Gaia Green I’m going to purchase Down to Earth to give it a whirl. I’m still tweaking my nutrients/ light setup to achieve dense great tasting buds . I moved her from the center to the right side in attempt to train her to fill more of the tent. I upped her liquid nutrient feeding lately as well to try & get her growing more rapidly. I did a heavy defoliation & retrellised her down again. About 4 days after her heavy defoliation I turned around and lollipoped her. After defoliation & lolipoping I made 18-20 cereal milk clones haphazardly to see what takes and what doesn’t with ZERO tlc. I don’t need/want the clones but i do believe it is a good practice & may come in handy after this grow. My humidistat controller has been down for atleast 2 months the VPD has been fucked this entire time. We’ve just been making do. If I would have noticed water droplets on my overlapping leaves I would have been more motivated to fix it before today. So on today I reprogrammed my humidistat controller, reinserted the humidifier for the clones sake & to regain control over tent VPD to encourage rapid growth again. Lastly considering pinching stem tops to encourage a more rapid branching to finish filling tent. RRRRREEEAAAAALLLLLYYYYYY kicking myself in the rear for allowing this plant to die 70% losing 100% of the plants mass only regrowing 50% of itself after 4 weeks of recovery. I lost SOOOOOOO much time & mass vegging this plant out. I’d be flipping this plant to flower now if i I hadn’t gotten overwhelmed. Next FEEDING 7/26. Hopefully a veg/bloom feeding if I can encourage rapid growth . I’ve really taken a SUPER LAZY APPROACH TO GROWING THIS LADY as well as all my other plants . I’m still going to be a lazy fuck for my other plants but I am going to buckle down on pouring into this plant all mu hopes and expectations to hopefully get out all those same hopes and expectations lol . Got everything hung up. Stripped the fan leaves and broke down into sections. Run 60/60 or as close as i can get until the stems snap.

5/18 It's not raining now but it's supposed to later. The plants are protected though. I have brought them out to continue hardening. It's only 57 degrees but they'll be alright. I used what little water was left in the bottom of the gallon to lightly water what looked like it needed it most. I mixed up another gallon and I'll check them again before they go in for the night. These plants are getting hardened off properly. I've had some pretty serious problems when I try to transition to quickly. I don't see ANY problems (knock on wood) thus far. Pink kush reminds me of purple punch. It grows similarly and starts off slow. I hope it turns the corner like the purple punch did and make up for it with the quality of flower. I topped/fimmed a special kush #1. I'll update when I bring them in for the night. This week I'll clean/sanitize the cage and the grow bags. EDIT: PLANTS SPENT A LITTLE OVER 3 HOURS IN THE LEAN-TO WITH INDIRECT SUNLIGHT AND EXPOSIRE TO OUTDSIDE AIR, TEMPS AND RH. I DIDNT WATER WHEN I BROUGHT THEM BACK IN. I'LL CHECK TOMM MORNING AND SEE HOW THEY LOOK. IT HAD JUST STARTED TO RAIN LIGHTLY WHEN I BROUGHT THEM IN. THEY ARE PRETTY SHELTERED FROM WIND AND RAIN IN THE LEAN-TO. 5/19 It's thunderstorms out with high winds so the girls will probably stay in today. They look like they are acclimating well. I can see where some of the FIMS took. I redid one I think. I'll update later if do anything. 5/20 Everything looked AMAZING this morning. Boy that MK ULTRA has get some thick branches already forming. Another shitty rainy day. I consulted chatgtp and it was on the same page as me. No real benefit to expose my girls to 47° Temps, cold rain qnd wind. It will be shitty a couple more days. I'll evaluate things later. WATERED EVERYTHING TODAY. TOPSOIL WAS DRY. I USED APPROX 2/3 OF A GALLON ON EACH PLANT. 5/21 I've got a super busy day. I left early and it was to cold to put the girls out. It's 55° at 9:30a.m. It may rain off and on but I think the girls would do okay in the lean-to. I need to get them ready and hardened for their forever homes. Time seems like it's flying. We are getting close to being able to put them out without risk of reveg. Plus I'm not subjecting my girls to un needed stress for no reason. I'll update what I do. 5/22 Plants were dry this morning. I used what was left in the gallon jug to water all the plants. I don't wantcto overwater and I'd like to keep the nutes in the soil where the plant can absorb them. Not just leak out the bottom. They are all growing at an incredible pace. It's currently 49°F at 9:45. It's overcast with a chance of rain. We are at what was suppised to be the high for the day. If we get above 55 I'll bring the girls out and continuing hardening. I guess it's not going to he an early season. Won't be long though and these girls will be in their final homes. I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. EDIT: ITS 4PM AND THE SUN JUST PEEKED OUT FOR A FEW MINUTES AND IS GONE AGAIN. PLANTS LOOK FANTASTIC. IM SO GLAD I KEPT THEM IN DURING THESE 40 LOW 50 DEGREE WET DAYS. IT'LL ONLY STRESS THEM IMO SINCE THEY LOOK SO GOOD. AS SOON AS THIS RAINSTORM AND COLD WEATHER PASSES WE SHOULD HAVE DECENT WEATHER. JUST A FEW MORE DAYS WHERE HIGHS ARE IN THE 40'S. I FEEL BAD FOR THOSE PEOPLE THAT SAW THOSE HIGH 70-80 DEGREE DAYS AND PUT THEIR PLANTS OUT. THEY ARENT DOING GOOD. JUST LOOKING AT THE FOLIAGE AROUND AND I CAN SEE TREES THAT ARE JUST LIMP. THE BLOSSOMS ON THIS SPECIES LOOK LIKE A CANNABIS PLANT IN VEG WHEN IT GOT COLD SHOCKED. ANYWAY MY BODY IS KILLING ME. I GOT A LOT DONE. AND I SOAKED MY BAGS FOR 40 MINS IN A MICTURE OF DAWN, H202 AND WATER. PRIOR I USED A WIRE BRUSH TO GET ALL DIRY AND STUFF OFF I COULD. THEN I SOAKED THEM AND AFTER I RINSED THEM. I COULD SEE THE H2O2 DOING ITS WORK. REALISTICALLY I SHOULD GET NEW BAGS. ITS JUST NOT IN THE FINANCES RIGHT NOW. OH WELL. THEYVE BEEN SANITIZED AND WASHED AND ILL GO OVER THE ONES THAT ARE STAINED AGAIN JUST TO MAKE SURE I DONT SPREAD SOMETHING. 5/23 What a miserable day. It's 44° and pouring out. I put a screenshot of tbe weather and you can see that after the next few shitty days we are getting sunny weather in the 70's. Light is long enough for them now. I need to dial back the timer morecto get them acclimated. I just have to clean up the cage and they are ready to go. Bags are sanitized. I'm going to spend some more time getting some algae off a couple. These plants are flourishing. I am happy I picked 1gal over 3gal before the transplant. It's turned out perfect thus far. Really looking forward to this. Oh and I watered everything a LITTLE bit as it was dry. Enough to get it through until they get a full watering before going outside. I also attempted a FIM on the other 10th planet. The FIM on the mk ultra worked and I've got at least three tops. 5/23 WATERED ALL PLANTS WITH APPROXIMATELY A HALF GALLON. Plants were all super light and dry. I keedcto water more volume at a time. This is easier than fixing overwatering. Things are getting tight in here. Plants are getting huge! The FIMs and Toping that ive done took. That big mk ultra has 4 or 5 tops on it! Plants look super healthy. Good weather is coming. They'll be in their forever homes shortly. It's working out perfect. Some of these plants look like they'll need a transplant soon. Still need to clean up the grow cage but that will only take a minute. Also need to fix a tear I made in a grow bag but again thats just normal small shit. If you look at the snap shot of weather I took you can see the weather is going to improve greatly. This is when I'll do the majority of work. I'll update anything else I do. EDIT: ITS 51° AND RAINING OFF AND ON. I MADE A "TEMPIRARY FIX" FOR THE GROW BAG THAT I HAD RIPPED. IT RIPPED FROM THE HANDLE DOWN AND A LITTLE DIAGONALLY. I THOUGHT ABOUT SOWING IT BUT OPTED FOR THIS EASIER METHOD. I POKED HOLES BIG ENOUGH TO SLID SMALL ZIPTIES THROUGH THE TORN PART OF THE BAG. I USED THEM TO "SUTURE THE BAG BACK TOGETHER. I THOUGHT IT TURNED OUT GREAT. I THEN USED GORILLA TAPE AND PUT A PIECE DIAGONAL OVER THE SMALL ANGLE. I DID THE SAME ON THE OPPOSOTE SIDE BEFORE RUNNING THE GORILLA TAPE FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE TEAR OVER THE BAG AND INTO THE INSIDE (COVERING THE VERTICLE STRIPS AND ZIPTIES). THE TAPE IS JUST SO I DONT LOSR SOIL AS THE ZIPTIES PRETTY MICH DID THE JOB. I ALSO USED A BUNCH OF H2O2, WHICH I POURED OVER THE ALGAE ON THE BAGS IT WAS PRESENT ON. IT FIZZED UP AND I WAS ABLE TO REMOVE ALL STAINS FROM SOME BAGS. I WORKED THEM ALL OVER AGAIN AND DOSLOSGED EPOTS AND SANITIZED ANYTHING THAT LOOKED LIKE IT NEEDED IT. ALL I HAVE LEFT IS TO CLEAN THE CAGE. AFTER WATERING THE PLANTS THIS MORNING THE JUNPED VISIBLY IN SIZE WITH LEAVES PRAYING TO THE HEAVENS. IM GLAD I HAVE TWO LARGE SOUTH FACING WINDOWS WHICH I HAVE OPENED THE BLINDS. I THIBK ITS ONE MORE DAY OF THIS AND A FEW MORE HARDENING THE GIRLS AND ILL BE ROCKING AND ROLLING. WHICH IS GOOD CONSIDERING THESE PLANTS ARE GETTING BIG. DONT WANT THEM TO GET ROOTBOUND. FORGOT CAMERA SO DIDNT TAKE PICTURES.

Hello everyone, here is an extra week of flowering, the plants are doing well, it starts to bloom, unfortunately an accident occurred: my fan fell into the canopy which caused me some damage, I tried to recover as I could. ..I just hope it will not have repercussions on the future but the plants seem to manage that ... to follow ... for watering from next week I will start to reduce fertilizer ... now place to photos
